Dog sitting and walking is currently my main source of income. This means any appointment can easily fit into my schedule, as long as I have some time to spend with my own dogs!

Information Asher L. would like to know about your pet
Things I want to know about every dog: - What is your dog's typical day look like? Do they have any specific routines? - Is your dog allergic to anything? - What do you want me to do in case of an emergency? - Can I give them treats? Are there specific treats you want me to use? - Does your dog have any prior training? If so, I would like to know what words you use for each cue to make sure the dog has consistency! And let me know if there are specific behaviors you want your dog to do (examples: if your dog needs to be told "ok" to eat their food, or your dog needs to sit before you open the door, etc.). Please let me know if your dog has any special behaviors or needs ahead of time. This can include things like: - Are there places your dog doesn't like to be touched? - Is there anything that scares your dog or triggers a strong reaction like barking, growling, lunging/pulling cowering, running away? How do you usually handle it and what calms them down? - Does your dog resource guard anything (aka growl, show teeth, snap, etc.) when you try to take or get to close to something they have, like a toy or treat? - Any other quirks or special behaviors I should know about? Feel free to give any other information you feel like would be helpful!
A typical day
I like to make sure dogs have both mental and physical stimulation! For mental stimulation we can go sniff around the neighborhood, do some puzzle toys, or some training exercises. For physical we can play with some toys and maybe go for a longer walk/hike. In between we will get some good cuddles in. If we get dirty, I will clean them up completely free!

Professional Dog Trainer
Pet care experience
What sets me apart from other pet sitters and dog walkers is my dog training and professional pet care background. I spent 2 years caring for service dogs in training, and I've spent over 3 years working in kennel environments with all different breeds, sizes, and temperaments of dogs, learning different types of handling and training styles. I have also been apprenticing a dog trainer for the past 2 and a half years, and have developed a strong understanding of dog body language and behavior. I want to go above and beyond and give your pets the best care. There are many skills I've learned at my previous jobs, including; dog first aid and CPR, the basics of fear free handling and cooperative care, how to administer different medications safely, how to quickly spot and begin treating possible health issues, and how to work dogs through some of the most common behavioral issues. In addition to the normal care your dogs receive, I can do short training sessions with your dog which is a great way to tire their brains out! I can work on basic obedience, leash manners, confidence building, etc. Message me for more information! ** I also have experience caring for reptiles and amphibians. If you need care for any exotic pets please message me for more info! Drop-ins: 30 minutes spent with your dogs, including: Normal care including pottying, feeding and medicating as necessary, physical and mental stimulation, light grooming, and snuggles. For longer bookings - $25/hr (2 hours minimum) Walks: 20-30 minutes walking around your neighborhood or a nearby location Letting your dog sniff around and stretch their legs! I prefer to walk one dog at a time vs multiple dogs at once Overnight sitting: Pricing on this starts at $150 a night. This includes staying with your dog overnight, and leaving them for no longer than 4 hours at a time in the day. Normal care including feeding, medicating, physical and mental stimulation, light grooming, and snuggle time. I will follow your dog's routine as closely as I can. I will also provide a lot of updates and send a lot of pictures!! -- I especially love working with puppies and setting up a strong foundation for them, or working with the "problem children" with some more difficult behavior... they remind me of my dog! I also love meeting more scared and shy dogs (especially chihuahuas)!! Wherever I work, I am usually the person who gets scared dogs to come out of their shell! Message me to set up a free meet n greet! I can't wait to meet you and your pet. :)
