About: I’ve been caring for dogs and other pets for over 10 years through family, friends, and neighbors. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I have experience with puppies, adult dogs, and senior pets, and I’m comfortable following feeding schedules, administering basic medications, providing exercise, and giving plenty of attention and affection. I currently have a mini goldendoodle who is enrolled in therapy dog training, which has given me additional experience with positive reinforcement and understanding canine behavior. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I work a hybrid schedule, which gives me flexibility throughout the week. I work from home on Mondays and Thursdays, allowing me to provide extra attention, potty breaks, walks, and companionship during the day. I’m available for morning and evening visits on weekdays and have full availability on weekends. As a dog owner myself, pet care is already part of my daily routine, and I strive to make every pet feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for. I live in a pet-friendly apartment community in Bloomfield Hills with access to a dog park and plenty of walking paths, making it easy to provide exercise, enrichment, and outdoor time. As a dog owner myself, my home is clean, safe, and designed with pets in mind. My mini goldendoodle, Marlow, is friendly and social, and I understand the importance of maintaining routines, providing supervision, and creating a comfortable environment for every pet. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I strive to keep their routine as consistent as possible by following feeding schedules, exercise needs, medication instructions, and any special requests. I understand that some pets are most comfortable in their own environment, and I take pride in providing dependable, compassionate care whether your pet is staying with me or I am caring for them in your home. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I aim to ensure that every dog in my care is taken care of to the fullest extent. Keeping your precious pet safe and loved is my duty. I know just how important dogs are in our lives, so ensuring they get the kind of treatment they get at home is essential. Loving dogs is something that comes second nature to me. Throughout my life, these pets have played a significant role. In my experience, I have watched/raised leader dogs for the blind, my dog, friends/family pets, and my girlfriend's dog often. I have 10+ years of experience working with this beautiful animal, both big and small. When taking on a new client, I'd like to schedule a meet and greet, whether online or in person; that way, we can ensure we're a good fit. That's very important to me, and also, getting able to talk will allow me to learn more about your pet and your care expectations; after all, who knows your pet more than the owner? Lastly, I love meeting new dogs, and they generally like to meet me, so I'd argue your pet, and I will get along incredibly. Being away from your best friend can be really difficult so I make it my goal to communicate as often as possible. I will make sure to give plenty of updates and pictures of all the fun your pup is having.
“Anna took excellent care of both my dogs for a drop in visit, Love the fact she has an Australian Cattle dog herself and understands their high drive nature! I definitely will be using Anna again and highly recommend her 😊”

“I needed a sitter for my 2 Huskies last minute and Sam was able to jump in and do an awesome job taking care of them for the day. Smart, on time does what she says, and the dogs love her. Can't ask for anything more. Will definitely be using her again for future dog sitting, thanks again!”

“Megan has been helping us out with our brand new puppy for the past couple months and she’s been nothing short of spectacular with Lily! She’s does a great job at caring for our dog as if she’s one of her own and keeping her well fed, walked, and played in even the short time she spends with her each day. We couldn’t recommend Megan enough to anybody that has dog-watching needs!”

Let's chat about giving your furry friend the best care! :) I work a standard 8 am-5 pm job, Monday through Friday. I don't mind staying the night during weekdays. I also do not mind coming before work in the morning to show love and care for your pets, as well as coming over after work for as long as you need. The weekends I'm free 24/7. Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Pontiac
Mandy was excellent with our senior, blind dog. She sent pictures, and she cuddled and pet our little baby. Our dog lost his mom suddenly (my mother in law). We needed the sitter for her celebration of life. He has been sad and trying to adjust to my home and routines. Mandy made him feel loved and we also appreciated that. ❤️

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.
Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Pontiac stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.
Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Pontiac. On Rover:
- 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 99% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
