This was the first time our dog, Primo, stayed with someone who wasn’t already familiar with him, so naturally, we were a little nervous about leaving him while we were away on vacation. From the very beginning, Sydney completely put our minds at ease. She took the time to address every concern we had, answered all of our questions, and reassured us that Primo would be safe, comfortable, and very well taken care of. Sydney was incredibly accommodating, attentive, and professional throughout Primo’s entire stay. What we appreciated most was her communication. Every morning and evening, she sent us pictures along with updates and notes about how Primo was doing. Being able to see him happy and comfortable allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our vacation without worrying about him. “My boy Chauncey stayed with Dan and Clare for three nights four days. I was sent multiple forgraphs to show how he was faring including him eating and sleeping. I had a GPS collar on him which showed the amount of play time and rest time he was given. (A LOT)!! Their yard is huge and fenced. Unfortunately my dog has learning to jump over cyclone fencing the week before staying with Dan and Clare; therefore, I put his GPS collar on him. They watched my sweet naughty (sporting dog - very concentrated on looking for creatures and can lose his mind by only having those thoughts in his head ;-) ) and I could tell much attention was given to watching out for him and guaranteeing he was safe. Their three dogs - after they bark upon your arrival - are very sweet and very accepting of newcomers. I would use them again in a heart beat. I travel on the road with my dog and also spend time in Texas so it will be hit and miss when the need arrives. However, should you want a safe, clean, dog "resort" for your pup go here. Lots of new smells, critters to chase and great hosts for your four legged family member, Thank you Dan and Clare!”

About: Erica and I have always loved & had dogs in our homes ever since we were kids. They were family, & we look forward to treating yours like family too. We have a very flexible with my schedule. We enjoy playing nerf dog, frisbie and fetch with the dogs during the day, and spending restful quiet time with them during the evenings. We have a nice sized fenced in backyard for them to play in, as well as a nice indoor sunroom that I have turned into a doggy indoor play area.

About: It’s my first summer on Rover! I started in July of ‘26. I have lots of experience with my own two cats. And I’ve helped with dog walks and drop in visits a few times now. I have 8 years of experience in behavioral work with children and lots of those skills can be applied to cats and dogs. I’m working for a school Monday - Friday so please keep that in mind when making requests! I’ll be available on most weekends. About: I’ve always been an animal lover, and I’ve been taking care of animals for friends and family for at least the last 3 years- I always love taking care of whoever I can! I can provide part-time and full-time weekend care, and am trained in pet CPR and safety! I’m capable of administering medication, and can be reliable in the time needed to feed, let outside, and do everything else that dogs need to be happy! About: I’ve had multiple dogs throughout my life and currently have one border collie at home. I’m used to 1+ hour walks multiple times a day (as needed), lots and lots of engaged playtime, and work to put furry family members first! 🐕 🐾 I’m a college student that is currently on summer break; as such, I have a very flexible schedule at the moment (mornings, afternoons, evenings, etc) I make sure keep doors open/headphones off when at home/while dogsitting so that animals don’t have to work to get my attention when they need it—I aim for at least two long walks a day with my high energy dog, with shorter potty breaks interspersed during the day. I understand the importance of accurate portion control for pets and make it a point to keep animals healthy with accurate meal sizes and monitor their water intake throughout the day.
