Safety, trust & environment

My goal is to create a calm, cozy, and safe environment where your dog feels right at home. I love getting to know their personality and preferences so I can care for them in the best way possible. I’m always nearby to offer attention and comfort throughout the day. To help every dog feel secure—especially at mealtimes—I feed dogs separately to avoid stress or food guarding. I also have a fully fenced yard and never leave dogs alone outside.

A typical day

I treat every dog like part of the family. Our days usually start with a quick trip to the backyard, with regular potty breaks (and sunshine breaks) throughout the day. then breakfast. Since I typically care for more relaxed dogs, the vibe is calm and cozy — we mostly keep each other company while I work from home. Dogs also get a daily walk, plus some fetch or playtime if they enjoy toys (I have a good collection of them already).

Pet care experience

Hi, I’m Kadi! I’ve spent over 10 years caring for dogs of all ages and personalities, from adopting a senior pup with medical needs to fostering and dog-sitting countless dogs. I focus on creating a calm, low-stress environment that reflects my own dogs’ temperaments. My girls, Omelette and Hollywood, are two small rescue pups who mostly nap all day and do best with other dogs who are relaxed rather than very playful or high-energy. I know how important it is to feel confident your dog is safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. My husband Jake and I both work from home, so your dog will get lots of attention (and photos!). I’m happy to continue any routines you have at home, including crate training, medication administration, and positive reinforcement training. I typically walk my dogs once a day for about 30 minutes, but I’m happy to add another walk if your pup needs more exercise. My backyard is fully fenced, and your dog will never be left unsupervised in the yard. In an emergency, I follow our agreed-upon plan and advocate for your dog as if they were my own. Feel free to reach out with any questions—I look forward to meeting you and your pup(s)!

Kadi is the best!!!! She cared for our nervous dog during a thunderstorm, 4th of July fireworks AND a power outage. Talk about MVP of dog sitters, Kadi is a rock star. Our little nervous pup adores her and so do we.

We are very happy with the care Kadi provided for our dog, Louie! She put effort into making him comfortable, and he came home rested and calm. Kadi provides a safe, secure, and loving environment, and I highly recommend her!

Kadi was amazing! She took the very best care of our precious pups, Walter and Dolly, and they loved her! She was great about communicating and sent adorable pictures every day - they always looked so happy! I will definitely be using Kadi again in the future when we travel.

We are new to the area and finding a good dog sitter is always a bit stressful. Kadi put me and my dog, Phoebe, at ease almost immediately upon meeting her. She is friendly, welcoming, and truly cares! Kadi asked important questions about my dog to ensure the boarding was tailored to Phoebe's needs. Throughout her stay, we received updates and pictures that gave us peace of mind that Phoebe was not an after thought, but part of the family!
