Flexible job- large yard
Hello! My pet experience consists of having my own doggy for the past 20 years. I rescued my older dog and then got a new puppy. My old Rose passed away but I had to give her eye medication and oral medication everyday so I am comfortable with that. I also grew up with family dogs and cared for those dogs. My availability to watch your dog is very flexible. I work from home a most days a week so it is a high chance that I could work from home while caring for your pup. I am a very caring person. I have a PhD in human development and family science and work in the social work field. I have a giant heart and would love to care for your doggie!

We first found Megan when we needed care for our dog, Pepper, during a family vacation. She sent regular photos throughout the stay, which gave us real peace of mind while traveling. Pepper came home happy and well cared for. Megan has since become our regular sitter, and we would not have it any other way. You won't be disappointed.
Megan was awesome with our dog Maggie! She has a great yard so Maggie was able to run around outside, which was a big plus. She also sent me a couple of pictures while I was away, which I really appreciated. Was nice to see Maggie happy and comfortable. We'll definitely book with Megan again!
Megan took care of my dog as well as some of my other animals (cats, rabbits) while we were away for a vacation. She was easily reached during the trip when I checked-in midtrip. She joyfully interacted with my pets and made sure they were well-cared for. As an experienced dog owner herself, I knew that she would be able to care for our puppy and keep him engaged! We felt very comfortable leaving our cherished pets in Megan's care! I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for high quality dog sitting!

As a stay-at-home worker, pet care naturally fits into my daily routine. I’m home throughout the day, which allows me to provide consistent attention, timely feedings, regular potty breaks, and plenty of play and cuddle time. My flexible schedule means I can easily accommodate pets’ needs, whether that’s sticking to a specific routine or being available for spontaneous walks and care. Being home also helps me monitor behavior closely and respond quickly to any changes, making pets feel secure, loved, and well looked after.

Whether caring for pets in my home or a client’s, I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment tailored to each animal’s needs. In my home, pets have access to cozy rest areas, regular outdoor time, and plenty of affection and play throughout the day. I maintain a calm, clean space and follow any routines or special instructions provided. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and stick closely to the pet’s established schedule to minimize stress. I provide regular updates, ensure fresh food and water, maintain cleanliness, and give each pet the love and attention they’re used to.

I live close to Palmer Park that a large dog park. I can take them there for exercise if you like. I also have enrichment toys for them to use during the day to stay stimulated.
