“Sam totally and completely exceeded our expectations as a pet sitter and caregiver! Honestly, I was nervous about using Rover to find someone to watch our pit mix, Thelma Lou. She's a rescue and we're the third (and final!) home she's had, so we knew we didn't want to board her at a traditional facility. We also weren't sure how she would get along with other dogs. When we first reached out to Sam, I told her that we were open to boarding, but would prefer to have her drop in on Thelma. Sam really encouraged us to board Thelma with her and after our meet-and-greet, we were convinced! Sam was so positive, patient, and caring with our girl. We had originally wanted to have her be a part of our ceremony, but ultimately decided that it would be too overwhelming for her. We then decided that we'd like to have her in our photos and Sam suggested that we add on a pick-up/drop-off service. Sam drove 45+ minutes (with today's insane gas prices!) to bring Thelma up to our venue for about an hour of pictures. She did such a good job and even brought toys and extra treats to get Thelma's attention and winning smiles! Bonus! On the day of boarding she will give constant updates, she will send plenty of pictures (great pics of Lucy together with their cute dog Mochi). Her husband Kumar helps her out with the doggies and they treat your dog like their own. They are not only great dog sitters but also really nice persons. Your dog will be treated like family, with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. I currently have a hybrid work schedule I would be gone working Monday-Wednesday for up to 4 hours total in the mornings between 8am and 12pm but home with dogs the rest of the day after that. I work fully remote Thursdays and Fridays and then home all weekend. If I do have to leave or run errands I make sure dogs are not alone for too long and have never left my dog alone for more than 5 hours max. I have a large fenced in yard and 2 dogs who love to run and play. There is no furniture that is off limits, dogs are allowed anywhere they would like. Caring for the pet would mean working around the dogs schedule and routine. Dog would receive lots of exercise, treats and cuddles.
