I can adjust and adhere to the homeowner’s needs. I have more experience with dogs that are 50-100lbs, so caring for those breeds come more naturally.

Information Richard P. would like to know about your pet
No breed preferences. Most people I have pet sat for are good about informing me of their pet's ideal feeding, exercise, and medicine schedules. I've dealt with people who let their pets on furniture and others who are a bit more strict; crate trained, for example. I will adhere to the owner's specific guidelines.
A typical day
Walking, swimming, fetch, even a little rough-housing outdoors if the owner permits. I've also sat elderly dogs who don't require much exercise and prefer more gentile, quiet housemates.

Richard P. has Star Sitter status
The Star Sitter program highlights responsive sitters who deliver highly rated care and have a history of listing accurate availability and preferences, making it easier for pet parents to find the best care for their pets.
Large or small, I love them all.
Pet care experience
I was raised with Great Danes and Labrador Retrievers within the family. I am accustomed to all sizes, ages, energy levels and will follow specific medical and dietary instructions when necessary. My goal is to give your dog the best care possible while you're away, so they'll be treated as if you were still home with them. If I am entering your home, I understand there's a great level of trust. I am willing to submit any sort of background check, outside of what Rover provides, if you deem it necessary. I also prefer to meet you and your pets before the initial service if possible. Feel free to ask any additional questions.
Reviews

Richard was a fantastic dog sitter for our boy, Buddy! He was very communicative, reliable, and punctual throughout our trip. Buddy was happy, relaxed, and content when we got home, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. We would absolutely recommend Richard to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter. Thank you, Richard, for taking such great care of Buddy! 🐾😊

Richard did an amazing job! He took our girl for walks and played ball with her. Kept us up to date with photos everyday. Watered our plants. And we came back to a clean house. Highly recommend.

Richard has a calming presence that is great for dog. He has always shown up on time and is willing to work with our requests.

awesome as always!
