About: I have cared for dogs since our first Siberian Husky joined the family in the 1960's! Family, friends and now new friends have entrusted me to take care of their fury family members when they leave town. From puppies to seniors they are all treated as if they were my own! I will consider accepting two dogs from the same family/household, but will generally only care for one dog at a time. This is so that no dog needs to not only adjust to being away from their own home, but also have to navigate relating to another, unfamiliar animal. I have no pets in my own home at this time either. Breeds I have cared for over the years include Labrador Retrievers, Samoyeds, Pugs, Huskies, Goldendoodles, Labradoodles, Miniature Schnauzers, Weimaraner's, German Shepards, Golden Retrievers, Pit Bulls, French Bulldogs, English Setters, Australian Shepards, Cocker Spaniels, Cockapoos and countless mixed breeds! I work from my home and so I am able to devote myself to any dog in my care. I take frequent work breaks and consider my care of the dogs entrusted to me as a part of my at-home work/life routine! I only care for pets in my own home. I have a nice fenced in backyard with privacy fencing on two sides and chain link on the other two sides, and the dogs seem to like the space. I do not leave dogs in the backyard on their own. I am with them if they are outside. I like to walk the dogs around my neighborhood and through the nearby park up to three times per day depending upon their energy level/physical abilities or limitations and their established routine. Any dogs that are more couch potatoes are certainly never forced to take walks. I honor where they are in terms of their breed, age and physicality! I have cared for elder dogs who have needed regular, timely medications and close observation as well as wild little puppies and everything in between! My home is kept very clean and neat to prevent my fury guests from getting into anything they should not and between visits I wash all dog bedding, towels, blankets and rugs.
About: I've owned dogs a majority of my life, both large and small breed. I've house trained and crate trained my own dogs so I have some experience with that, as well. I have 2 cats in the home but they tend to stay away from any new dogs, often hiding in their own room that the dogs are not allowed in. I work from home, which allows lots of one on one time with your pet. I'm able to flex my work schedule based on whatever is needed. I have a fenced in yard, which my own pup loves to run in. Lots of toys and playtime with plenty of comfy surfaces to nap on after.

About: My Husband and I welcomed my dog 7 years back in the family when we had no plan to have a pet but we just had to bring her home. I have trained her all by myself and received many compliments on how well-behaved my pet is. I have taken care of my friend's fur friends multiple times. Zusa gets along with pretty much everyone with a condition of them remembering who the queen is in the house lol there’s 40% chance of her playing with your pet but she’ll mostly mind her own business which noting everyone who stopped by- by the bay window that’s 10ft long. Your fur baby will be allowed there too after 24hrs of stay😊 we enjoy pets more than humans😜 which is why your pets likely to be cuddled here not just for the show. They’ll be treated as a cousin of Zusa visiting and nothing less than that. I work from home, so I have plenty of time to entertain your fur friend! I'm available on weekdays anytime after 10 am and accommodate them over weekends with some heads up. I have a fenced yard, lots of toys, and a Shitzu to give your pet company. I do have pretty much everything but a crate, so if you believe your pet will be more comfortable with that, then please bring it with you.

While my two dogs happily go to "their rooms" (crates) at night, guest dogs can sleep wherever they are most comfortable. Whether that is in a bed, on the living room couch, in their own crate, or a private room, I want them to feel right at home. Updates & Communication: You can expect daily updates on your pet, including details of their day, how they are doing, and plenty of pictures and videos. You are always welcome to contact me for a status update, but I provide a daily report so you never have to wonder. Transportation: If you need help with transport, please reach out! I can offer pick-up or drop-off for an additional fee, and we can discuss details during our coordination. I work a part-time schedule during the summer with hours that vary throughout the week and weekends. This means I have different blocks of availability each day, but I keep my calendar updated regularly! Please feel free to reach out to me directly to confirm openings for your fur babies. While I have flexibility for check-ins and care, please note that I cannot book recurring daycare right now due to potential schedule changes later this year. On Saturdays and Sundays, I have limited availability depending on the week—messaging me in advance is the best way to coordinate! We think it's important to have rules and structure so they are both trained and well behaved but thoroughly loved and cared for. l am comfortable with putting dogs in crates, letting them out, feeding, and administering medication if necessary; really whatever attending to their normal schedule.

About: Hi I’m 26 years old! I have grown up around dogs all my life and I have always loved walking with them and getting to see what they find interesting. I promise that the walk will be focused on the dog not on just getting the walk over with. I have two dogs at my childhood home that I help take care of and walk whenever I am home, so I know the importance of a walk for a dog! I’m a teacher who has summers off! I’m hoping to fill my summer time with taking some great dogs for some nice walks. So my schedule is currently flexible and I am able to take your dog out during the work day! I’ll work during the school year but I’ll be more free during the summer for walks! I have a fenced in back yard at home that can allow dogs to run around without a leash. Something about dogs is that they can really benefit from a nice walk where they go at their own pace! That’s my goal for walking your dog, whether it’s slow walks or a light job, I’m here to help!
About: I've walked dogs in the metro Detroit area for around 5 years. I love active dogs, but I don't mind to slow the pace if your dog isn't as energetic. I'm available all day for walks and visits. For boarding and sitting, I am typically available if given a week of prior notice. I love to make sure your companion feels loved and cared for, even when you are away. Dogs love routine and I will adapt to yours! I have experience with all ages, from puppy to senior, and I can administer medications as well. I have plenty of experience with cats and other pets, including the very shy. I live pretty close to the 696 and 75 junction, so getting to and from my house is usually easy. Fortunately, I am currently available for walks, visits, and boarding full time as your schedule needs. I have my own dog and two cats that require my care daily. My yard is fully privacy fenced with a large deck. I have a few small gates I can set up in the house for introducing animals slowly or separating everyone for downtime and breaks. I have a few harnesses/collars, leashes, and a caution symbol to use on walks unless you prefer your current gear. I own a large crate for my 80lb lab that can be used as needed.

My dog can be pretty anxious, especially in new environments, but Cody handled him with patience and care. When I picked him up, I could clearly tell he had grown comfortable and even formed a bond with Cody, which says a lot. He was nervous at drop-off, but it was reassuring to see how much more relaxed and at ease he was by the end of his stay.
