About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover with over 20 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. My journey with dogs started in 2001 when my family got our first pup. As my brother left for the military, I took on full responsibility — daily walks, grooming, vet visits — you name it. Since then, I’ve been the go-to sitter for friends and family, providing loving care during short stays or extended vacations (from 1 day to 2 weeks). Whether it’s cuddles, exercise, or sticking to your pet’s routine, I make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and right at home. 🐶 Services: ✔️ In-home dog sitting ✔️ House sitting with pet care ✔️ Feeding, walking, playtime & more ✔️ Medication & special care if needed Pet care fits in my schedule for anytime after 3 Monday through Friday. I have open availability on the weekends . If you need me over night I am available. Hi there! I’m a passionate animal lover with experience caring for pets of all kinds. I offer personalized services including playtime, daily walks, gentle brushing, and drop-in visits. Whether your pet needs exercise, affection, or just a little company while you’re away, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy. I treat every pet like family and can’t wait to meet yours!
About: I’ve cared for many dogs in their homes and mine. Pets feel safest at home, and I bring calm, loving care they can trust. ❤️ I will work around your schedule - just let me know what you need and we will figure out the details. I am completely flexible. I stay in your home and care for your pets their way - walks, play, special meals - whatever they need to feel safe and happy.
About: I've had animals all my life- 3 cats, 2 dogs, 1 guinea pig, 3 hermit crabs, and numerous fish. I now also cat sit for my neighbor and friends when they go on vacations or trips ranging from a day to a week. I make sure I spend lots of time with their furry friends so they don't get lonely and they get the care they need. I am currently in college and working part-time (usually mornings on Thursdays and on Fridays), but my schedule allows me for ample time to check in on the furry buddies on my available days or the nighttime. I love to give my animals lots of cuddles and kisses. I make sure to give them long amounts of pets and love. If a storm is going on, I always make sure to turn on calming animal music and talk them through it. I treat animals like they are people and someone who needs care and love.
About: I have been an animal lover since a young age. I have a three year old puppy that loves other dogs. I have pet sat and boarded many dogs and they were nothing less than spoiled! I live on a lake so if your dog loves the water it will have the time of its life, if not, that’s okay too! I am very active so walks can happen frequently. If you are interested in boarding with me I require that your dog is house trained (exception for puppies because they are learning and I can work with that), good with dogs, and doesn’t mind kids nearby. I currently work at a daycare 3 days out of the week from 8AM-6PM with an hour long break that I will use to spend time with your pet! But, my weekends are completely open! In my clients home I would care for their pets the exact way that they do and how they instruct me to do so! :)

About: I have been an animal lover my whole life! From my first pet cat I just knew there was nothing like the love of a pet. I have 3 children and a husband that feel the same! We have two well loved labs and are always excited to meet new furry friends! I have the ability to work from home. My office is only two miles away so I can easily be free to love your fur baby while your unavailable. My yard is unfenced however we can run a long line. We do have an invisible fence that works great with our two Labs. You’re fur baby will be well attended to and played with. We have animal loving children and two sweet Labs to keep them company.

“Anthony did a great job with Manny who can tend to be a little finnicky! Kept me updated with texts and photos so I knew everything was ok. I will definitely contact Anthony again for future stays and highly reccomend him!”

About: I can’t remember a time when I didn’t have an animal in my life. From shepherds to terriers, I have experience with large, medium, and small dogs. I also have experience caring for cats of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I’ve trained my own dogs, cared for foster puppies, and have experience handling pets with different needs and temperaments. I’m very open to feedback, learn quickly, and always strive to provide the best care possible. When you book with me, you can expect meaningful, attentive, and reliable care for your pet. Your fur baby will have my full attention, and I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for at all times. Rain or shine, I will show up and give every pet the patience, attention, and care they deserve! Over the summer I am working fully from home. Which means I have an open schedule to care for your pets. I am open from morning to night. I can do daily visits, weekly visits, and more. When house sitting for your pets, I prioritize a respectful and responsible approach. I value clear boundaries in my own life, so I make it a point to treat your home and privacy with that same high level of integrity. I’m fully open to your specific rules and feedback, and I’ll keep you connected with consistent updates so you never have to wonder how things are going.

“We highly recommend Sarah. She communicated with us all the time and sent photos. Most of all she was so accommodating when we ran into issues with our travel plans. We will definitely use her again if she's available”

About: I have always loved animals since I was a young age. I have had two dogs and have one currently who is three years old! I have taken care of many animals before, and I love spoiling them. I will send pictures and keep in constant contact with owner. Some requirements I have when boarding with me is the dog must be house trained, and get along with other dogs and kids. I will be attending Eastern Michigan this fall, but only communing on Mondays and Wednesdays! Other then that I am pretty flexabele and open and can work around those days I do not have a fenced in yard but I do have a lead rope for the dogs to go out out or need be I can take them out on a leach. In my clients home I would take care of the dogs just as they would.
“Stephanie was great! She swooped in to help us out with a last minute emergency. We knew our pup was in great hands - we’d hire her again for our next trip for sure!”

About: Hi, I’m Rae. I am the owner of Wags & Whiskas MI, a pet sitting company based out of Commerce. We have several sitters available! Animals are my WHOLE LIFE. I have 6 years (& counting!) of shelter, clinical veterinary, and vacation sitting experience combined. What we offer: ✅Customized care plans for YOUR family. ✅Detailed updates 3x a day, including pictures & videos. ✅ Real life experience with medication administration, oral and injectables. ✅ Background checked & clean history. ✅ Pet CPR certified. ✅ I own a newer, reliable vehicle under warranty. ✅ Clean driving record. ✅ Insured - When I’m in your home you’re covered! About Me! I’ve dedicated my life working with animals because they are the world’s most precious beings. I can tell what an animal needs by their body language, vocalizations, and expressions. When I am not at a client’s house, I’m at the Oakland County Shelter. I LOVE SENIOR ANIMALS! There is something so special about the bonds I’ve created over time with all of my clients. There’s nothing like getting into bed with a cuddle puddle after a long day. 🐾 In my spare time, I like to train my own dog, hike, and play cozy/puzzle games for Nintendo Switch. I look forward to meeting you and your fur family! I’m currently a full time pet sitter. I do a few days of housekeeping here and there, but this is my life! On the weekends, I like to spend time at home with my dog & boyfriend. I give updates 3x per day with pictures and always cover the basics first. Food, water, potty. After that comes exercise and love! Even with shy cats, I’ll always make sure to give my clients their money’s worth by scooping litter, cleaning cat towers, or doing household chores. I will get the details of care beforehand and put it into a care plan and follow it to a T to ensure your animal will be cared for exactly as you would. My goal is also to leave the home as cleanly as I found it, if not cleaner!

About: I’ve been pet sitting for a few years now, haven’t had many opportunities in a while and I would love to get back into it!! I’ve always preferred animals over people, at parties you can usually find me in the corner playing the cat. I will play with and love your pet like they’re my own!!!! I don’t currently have a job so your pet will my top priority! If I get a job soon it will be part time and I will be able to save lots of time to make sure your pet gets all the attention he/she needs I can do whatever needed to make your pet comfortable. Any routines or specifics that will make you and more importantly your pet happy with my service I will gladly do!

About: Well I've always lived in a home with a dog. I started taking care of dogs when I was six years old because my mom felt it was a great way to develop responsibility. Furthermore I was an only child so having a dog present makes up for the time alone. However I always watched my family members dogs often beginning at the age of ten. My family saw how responsible I was with my pet and how I admire dogs so they decided to offer me extra allowance when I watched over their dogs starting at that age (10). Later when I turned 14 and attended high school I wrote an essay about my first dogs which were two Dalmations and everyone loved it and discovered my pet sitting history with my family's dogs so it transitioned to me officially pet sitting other dogs. This helped a lot because I played sports year round in high school making it hard to find a job that would hire temporarily. My mom informed me of this site and I thought it would great to join rover and take on this golden and fun opportunity. Work isn't work when you love what you're doing.
About: I have had pets in my life since I was young -- dogs, cats, hamsters, turtles, and more. Currently, I have two rescue cats (ages 3 and 10) and one rescue poodle mix (age 7). I've had personal experience with dogs with medical conditions and senior animals. I've taken care of friends and neighbors pets. They've relied on me to walk and feed their pets and show them lots of love. I'm that annoying friend that needs to stop and say HELLO to every dog and cat they see. :-) I’m very flexible with the times and emergency calls. I am a dog and cat lover and always appreciate when I find someone I can trust to help with my dog and cats. I will provide attention, love, playful runs, and or anything that my clients need. It would be a pleasure for me to take care of your fur babies. I will treat your pup or kitten like I do mine with love, attention, belly rubs and everything they need to have a less stressful time while their hooman family is away. I can handle multiple dogs or cats at one time. Each will get the attention they deserve. I am very familiar with the puppy and kitten stages. I'll be there to make them feel safe, loved and happy at all times. I’m very flexible with my time and emergency calls. I am an animal lover and am very picky about who takes care of my babies when I'm not home. I'll provide the kind of care I expect for my babies. I'm starting my 'second career' as a retiree and want to spend time with animals in a fun and helpful way. I don't have any other time commitments, so my schedule is open to helping you and your fur babies! I'll provide exercise, playtime, and feed your fur babies, at your home, on your schedule. My car is pet friendly if any transportation is required. I'm used to large and small animals and am not afraid of any breed. If anything should happen to your fur baby I will immediately reach out to determine how you would like to proceed, I can manage basic cat and dog first aid issues,

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
