About: I was born and raised as an animal person. There was rarely a time when my family was without a pet of some sort, from dogs and cats to gerbils, rabbits, lizards and hermit crabs. So naturally when I married a fellow animal lover who worked at a dog kennel for 9+ years as a teenager, we decided to get a dog...and then some chickens...and 4 goats...and another dog...and 3 cats. Anyway, now we own a small hobby farm in Salem Twp and are raising two little girls who are also animal lovers. Being a livestock owner means that I deal with a lot of random weird and gross things on a daily basis, so I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty. I just want to give your beloved pet the love they deserve when you're away from home, because that's exactly what I want for my animals when I'm gone. I have two elementary aged kids so I'm available during the school day. I work a few hours a week as an early childhood class instructor but otherwise I'm just home or running errands most days. I can't offer pet sitting in my home or overnight at your home, but I'm available to come visit, feed, and walk your pets during the day. I may be able to expand my schedule depending on my kids schedules, so just ask!

About: I’ve always been the person animals gravitate toward. I grew up with cats and later had two Italian Mastiffs, so I’m very comfortable with both small pets and big, strong personalities. I almost became a vet at one point, but after shadowing, I realized my heart just couldn’t handle that side of things. What I do love is creating a calm, safe, and loving environment for animals to just be. In my day-to-day life, I run my own business and come from a background in events and marketing, so I’m naturally very detail-oriented and respectful of your space. I’m also a competitive figure skater, which means I’m disciplined, reliable, and consistent especially when it comes to routines and care. I keep a flexible, self-managed schedule, which allows me to be very intentional with the time and care I give to each home and pet. I’m able to adapt to your pet's routine and make sure visits feel consistent, calm, and reliable while you’re away. I approach pet care in a really intentional, calm way. I let animals set the tone and focus on creating a safe, low-stress environment where they can feel comfortable. I’m also very detail-oriented when it comes to your home. I follow routines closely, keep things tidy, and make sure everything is locked up and secure. My goal is for you to come home to a happy pet and a space that feels just as you left it.

“My dog is not the easiest dog to walk at times. Lauren kept him safe from dog encounters and responsibly showed up to take him out. She updated me about every walk with great detail and honesty. She was available during Christmas and showed up at 7:30AM, 4:30 PM and 9PM (not an easy itinerary). I highly recommend Lauren.”

About: I am great with dogs and cats. They always trust me right away and just want to play with me. Don’t take my word though, look through my happy customers! I am recently graduated from college and only have some part time work now so very open schedule. Also if you want me to teach your dog anything I can try! I have a whistle and treats that I have been successful with in the past. I love to sit with the dogs and hang out, go on walks with other dogs, and play fetch for the high energy dogs. Of course older dogs and cats will get some less physically demanding attention.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats for over 18 years now. I usually help family and friends when they go out of town. Pets are like family and should be treated as such and that is something I value in my care. I currently work a full time job. My daily and weekly work schedule are morning shifts and a few weekends, I can be flexible for the needs of your loved ones. If I’m in a clients home, I will do what the client says is most best for their loved one. I aim to make sure each pet is cared for and comfortable in their environment.

About: Growing up with a pup in a highly active family, I have over 5 years of experience hiking, biking, and running with dogs! Long walks and dogs with high activity needs are my specialty, though I have also been approached by friends and peers to walk, sit, and care for a variety of pets with varying needs. From sitting multiple cats, to rats, to elderly dogs, I have a wide range of experience, and am dedicated to customizing to your pet's needs. As a college student currently on summer break, I have a very open schedule with room available to cater to your specific needs. A majority of the work I do is online or portable, so you can guarantee that your pet receives the time and care they deserve! I have experience with dogs of all activity styles, and am quick to adapt to the specific needs of your pet. About: My family has done dog sitting and dog walking jobs for the past 5 years, I have stepped up when my parents have been unavailable to take care of others dogs and cats. This includes walking, playing, overnight stays, administering simple medicines in food, and cleaning up their messes of all kinds. I have owned family dogs since I was born and have been contributing to their care since I was 10. I currently work 2 part-time jobs as a lifeguard, with shifts being anywhere from 2-6 hours long. I work both in Northville and Ann Arbor and I’m happy to dogsit in either location! I understand the potential dangers of common things in homes for animals, such as poisons and injuries.
