“Holly was great with our dog Max. We had left Max with Holly for around 18 days. Max was comfortable and enjoyed his stay thoroughly at Holly’s place. Holly would send us daily pictures of Max assuring us that he is having a great time. I would highly recommend Holly & book her as a dog sitter for our dog Max when planning our next vacation.”

“We can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience! Wally had an amazing time during his stay and was clearly treated like part of the family. He loved exploring their beautiful yard, going on walks, and spending time playing with everyone. We especially appreciated the regular updates and all the fantastic photos—they gave us so much peace of mind and it was obvious that Wally was happy, comfortable, and having a great time. The pictures truly captured how much fun he was having! It’s clear they genuinely care about the dogs they watch, and we are so grateful for the love and attention they gave Wally while we were away. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring pet sitter. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our boy!”

“They were so comforting and took amazing care of my dog, Mila. I felt completely at ease knowing she was in good hands. They kept me updated with pictures and messages, which meant a lot. I will absolutely use them again! Thank you Barbara and Dirk.🐾🐾”

“Thanks again Michele for taking such good care of Winston. Your help is invaluable to us knowing Winston is in good hands and we can depend on you time amd time again. Winston also thanks you, he told me how much fun he had and it was nice visiting with you and your family, even the cat!!”

“Matthew was great, he was very accommodating. Our dog had plenty of play time and attention: she went on walks and loved having a fenced in yard to explore. Matthew communicated well with us. He provided plenty of updates and pictures, which we really appreciated this having been our first time using someone for boarding!”

“my dogs must have enjoyed it because they didn’t act any different getting in the car and going home. They barely missed us. I can tell this family enjoyed taking care of my dogs and I was able to enjoy my time away knowing they were in good hands.”

About: I’ve had small dogs for over 20 years. Currently I do not own a dog and would love to care for other peoples pets who are in need of care. I provide a safe space with an enclosed yard where there will be no jumping rough play or larger dogs. I know that importance of feeling that your companion is safe and being well cared for. I have a flexible schedule and can provide plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, and walks throughout the day. I keep my calendar up to date and will communicate with you if I have any commitments during your pet’s stay. My goal is to provide a calm, reliable environment where your pet feels safe and cared for. Your pet will stay in a clean, smoke-free home with no resident pets, providing a quiet, low-stress environment. I have a securely fenced yard for supervised outdoor time and will follow your pet’s normal routine, feeding schedule, medications, and any special instructions. I’ll send regular photo updates so you can feel confident your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.
“Deanna and her husband did an excellent job taking care of our dog Bernie during his week long stay with them. He is an older dog with mobility and other health challenges. They went above and beyond to make sure he was well cared for and felt secure. I highly recommend them!!”

“We just picked up our dog from his second visit with Caroline. As soon as I pulled up to her house to drop him off, he was tugging at his leash to go inside. He has so much fun there and Caroline offers so much love, attention and care for all the dogs she watches. She sends lots of pictures/videos and makes us feel so safe when we have to be away from our dog. Will definitely book again!”

“Jenna did a wonderful job taking care of my Standard Poodle. After our meet and greet where I met Jenna, her husband and 2 dogs I felt they were an attentive and dog loving and dog centered family. I really appreciated their fenced yard and their flexibility and understanding that my dog was not perfectly trained, she still jumps and does not go for walks calmly. It was clear that Jenna's family was going to provide the same loving attention and lots of activity (playing with their dogs) my dog receives at home. Jenna was responsive when we communicated, she would answer within a few minutes. She sent pictures and updates. I could not have asked for a better sitter for my dog and I will definitely use them again in the future. My dog was happy and well cared for by Jenna!”

“Miley had a great time staying with Marija. She kept me in the loop on everything going on and was very responsive. Miley had fun playing with her dogs and was tired out and well cared for when I picked her up.”

“This was my first time boarding with Anthony and was very pleased with my experience. Before the boarding, he offered to bring my dog over for a meet and greet to make sure I was comfortable. During his stay, I got periodic updates and pictures of my dog and Anthony was flexible on pick up and drop off times. There was a nice-sized fenced in backyard so my dog also got plenty of play time during his stay. I’m looking forward to using Anthony again for future stays!”
“My dog Sky did amazing at Anne's relaxing home. Anne provided pictures and updates often. Sky was very comfortable in the care of Anne. I would not hesitate to use Anne again.”

“Oscar and his family were amazing hosts for our energetic pup. I really appreciated knowing the dogs were enjoying the shady, fenced-in backyard. The daily videos were a great way to check in and know he was having fun. Thanks again!!”

“Christina was very communicative and accommodating, keeping us updated on everything we needed to know throughout the stay. She even let us know about a last-minute schedule change on her end so we were fully aware. We felt very comfortable leaving our dog with her and will definitely book again!”

“Reneé was great with Lily for a short overnight stay! She took lots of cute photos of her. She even squeezed in a quick walk before our pickup time. Lily will be back!”

“Brenda and her husband were the sweetest people that I’ve had watch over my dog due to my trip getting canceled. She kept my dog and took care of her until I had to get back safely. I highly recommend her. She was extremely kind and caring and sent me a lot of pictures and videos and kept me updated.”

“Laura is a wonderful sitter - very flexible and accommodating. My dogs had a great time with her and her kids. I felt very comfortable leaving them with her and would 100% recommend to anyone.”

Patti was wonderful with Ghost! She provided regular updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She also took the time to let Ghost meet her pets, which I really appreciated. It’s clear Ghost had a great stay and felt comfortable in her care—I think he’s already looking forward to his next visit!

Rebecca was the best sitter we have ever had. She and her family genuinely loved and cared for Baxter. She provided awesome updates on his activities and interactions. We knew Baxter was well cared for and truly enjoyed his time there. I would highly recommend booking Rebecca for your next dog boarding.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
