About: 15 years of shelter volunteer work plus caring for my own dogs for 16 years. Frequently dog sit for both of my daughters and my son-in-law. After losing my last dog at 17, I would love to provide care, love and walks for yours. I work from home and set my own appointments outside of the home so I can determine precisely when I'll be home. Although I don't have a fenced yard we have a great neighborhood for walks. Dogs should be able to free roam as I don't currently have a crate; or you can provide a crate. Please bring any special toys, bed, etc. that will help your dog acclimate!

About: I’ve always had a dog or cat in my home! Growing up we always had a Golden Retriever :) My most recent dogs were two senior Chihuahua sisters I adopted and one Olde English Bulldog. They have all crossed the rainbow bridge and though I’m not ready to get another pet, I miss having them in my life. One of my seniors had diabetes so I’m trained at administering insulin as well. I’m a stay at home mom of two little boys I share with their dad, though when I have dogs stay with me they stay with their father. For boarding, I live in a wonderful neighborhood with lots of other dogs and great sidewalks for strolls or power walks if needed. I enjoy going for daily long walks myself would love the company. For walks at your home, I never skimp on time outside or if weather doesn’t permit, extra fun and love inside.

About: My experience and background with animals spans over the course 20 years. I've worked as a veterinary technician, fostered nearly 2 dozen puppies for rescue programs, and founded my own successful non-profit rescue & conservation program dedicated to primitive canids. I'm thoroughly experienced in caring for senior dogs & cats, administering medications, first aid, & wound care. I've fed numerous specialized diets, including fully raw. I adore the puppy stage- including crate training, potty training, & socialization. I'm a strong advocate for socialization that bolsters confident neutrality. A puppy's endless curiosity is so fun to harness! I enjoy giving dogs a balance of outdoor exercise like hiking, as well as indoor mental enrichment like games and puzzles. A tired dog is a happy dog! I train dogs part time & homeschool my daughter- which lends me a great deal of flexibility in my schedule. I can often accommodate short notice requests. I'm extremely cautious with opening & closing doors so no animals can slip through a door, check the fit of a dog's collar to prevent potential backing out, & ensure there's nothing a pup or kitty could get into thats potentially dangerous. I have a very strong preference for using martingale collars on dogs for walks to mitigate that risk. I've personally endured the tragedy of my young dog slipping the door and being hit by a car while a sitter was taking care of him- so I assure you I take this very seriously. Building trust with both owners and their pets is pivotal! I'm committed to open communication and honesty. I allow pets to greet me on their terms and understand some animals need a more patient, gentle approach than others. I love all kinds of animals and getting to know their individual quirks and personalities! I am primarily doing online classes for school and working part-time. My working schedule can be flexible with advanced notice so I can spend the most time with your pet(s)! Whatever is best for you and your pet is what I provide! I’ve cared for very high-maintenance dogs that need multiple walks a day, special diets, etc., as well as very chill dogs that just come in and out as they please and eat whenever they want. I’m very flexible to provide whatever care the pet requires!

About: I have owned 2 dogs, I got my first dog at 16, trained and raised her, then rescued my second dog a year ago. I have been dog sitting for a 3 dog family for 5 years now. I am a very active person and would love to give your pups the chance to get out and get some fresh air! I work a 9-5, but am always looking to get active after work/dinner, as this is usually when I take my own dog for a walk. I am free most weekends as well. I care for my dog like I would a child! Our dog is a member of our family and we treat her as such. On walk specifically, I like to keep up with the dogs specific pace, but also allow plenty of sniff breaks as well!
