About: 15 years of shelter volunteer work plus caring for my own dogs for 16 years. Frequently dog sit for both of my daughters and my son-in-law. After losing my last dog at 17, I would love to provide care, love and walks for yours. I work from home and set my own appointments outside of the home so I can determine precisely when I'll be home. Although I don't have a fenced yard we have a great neighborhood for walks. Dogs should be able to free roam as I don't currently have a crate; or you can provide a crate. Please bring any special toys, bed, etc. that will help your dog acclimate!

About: My experience and background with animals spans over the course 20 years. I have a very strong preference for using martingale collars on dogs for walks to mitigate that risk. I've personally endured the tragedy of my young dog slipping the door and being hit by a car while a sitter was taking care of him- so I assure you I take this very seriously. I work a 9-5, but am always looking to get active after work/dinner, as this is usually when I take my own dog for a walk. I am free most weekends as well. I care for my dog like I would a child! Our dog is a member of our family and we treat her as such. On walk specifically, I like to keep up with the dogs specific pace, but also allow plenty of sniff breaks as well!
