Spoiled dogs welcome!
I have always been a lover of animals--I was the kid who used to bring home lost or hurt creatures, much to my mother's chagrin. As an adult I have continued to bring dogs into my life who needed homes. I recently lost my senior black lab so I look forward to giving Rover dogs all of my attention. I am a retired teacher, so my schedule is often flexible. I look forward to walking, snuggling, and spoiling your fur baby.

Jennifer took wonderful care of our pup, as usual. It's always a vacation for him, too, when he stays with her! We've used Jennifer several times now, and River just loves her!

Good communication, sent lots of pictures and updates throughout. Helpful and flexible with coordinating drop off and pick up times. Was really good and caring for our dog, who is elderly, needs a little bit extra attention.

Schedule
I am a retired teacher, so my schedule is fairly flexible. I do accept substitute teaching jobs on occasion; however, if being alone is a problem for your dog and I have enough notice, I can work my schedule around yours.

Safety, trust & environment
I am an avid walker and would love a walking companion--we can go as slow/fast/far as your dog needs. I also have a fenced in back yard, so if walks are not your dog's thing, you can feel comfortable knowing he/she will have access to a safe area outside. Your dog will get lots of attention while staying with us. We aim to spoil!
Pets
A typical day
I will walk your dog (perhaps even take your pet on a run if you request it) and keep him/her entertained with toys, games, and photo shoots to share with you. I live close to a small downtown, so walking though the area provides opportunities for visits into pet-friendly shops for additional entertainment for your dog.
