Retired pastor who loves dogs.
I grew up with dogs, cats, rabbits, a turtle, guinea pigs, lab rats, ... and have always loved animals. As an adult we've had four dogs - two from puppy-hood on up, two as later-care dogs - and three long-lived cats. When I retired from pastoring I volunteered at our local animal shelter, exercising 15-20 dogs of all sizes and breeds twice a week. I recently moved to Northville and am looking for more time with furry friends!

Safety, trust & environment
We can't have animals in our apartment, so I'll need to come to you. I have a car and can transport pets to dog parks or wherever you desire. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and am fine with so-called "aggressive" breeds, pets with special needs, providing medication (other than shots) at any time, taking pets out in the middle of the night if needed, etc. I love animals and will follow your instructions as to what they need.

Charles is kind, patient, and exactly what my dog needed in a rover! He even went above and beyond by bringing his own treats :) will definitely be rebooking with him!
This is the first time I use Rover. I found Charles for a drop in service. Right after I book the service. Charles reached out to schedule a quick meet with me and my dog. The moment my dog sees him, she loves him and treats Charles brought with him. Charles is friendly, dependable and I will book his service again in the future.
Charles was amazing with our girl, he went above and beyond and really helped make her feel comfortable for her first time being left alone. Charles will definitely be my first choice for next time!
Charles did an awesome job! I would definitely have him watch our dog again. He went above & beyond doing some training while he was with our dog.
Charles was great and God sent. I made a last min request for a drop in visit and had never use Rover. Charles was open to a meet and greet same day and Tya absolutely loved him at first meet. The connection was made and my heart was settled. Looking forward to future services from Charles!

Schedule
I'm retired and my wife serves at Northville First UMC. I'm available most days and nights except Fridays (my wife's day off), often on short notice.

- Please let me know about any special needs with your dog. I'm fine with all kinds of medications other than giving shots. I'm fine with unfriendly dogs as long as you introduce me to your pet. I have experience with all kinds of breeds, sizes, and temperaments thanks to my volunteer work with an animal shelter.
