“Lauren was great! She watched our girl while we got married and it was so cool to get photos of her while we were sitting down to eat! She was prompt, very kind and took amazing care of her! Would highly recommend and will request her again in the future!”

“Erica is a very kind and patient person who goes above and beyond to try and make your pet comfortable with her...even if they do not want to have anything to do with her (like my cranky kitty)! :)”

“Lyndsay has been nothing but amazing with my two daughters gs. Very understanding and so patient sadly one of the dogs didn’t warm up to her which was not Lyndsays fault but the communication about that issue was very fast but in great detail. I would definitely recommend!”

About: Hi, my name is Cecilia and I have loved animals ever since I was young. I have owned and cared for all types of animals since I was 10 years old. This includes dogs, cats, horses, cattle, birds and other livestock. I trained horses for several years, and trained my own dog as well. I am very familiar with feeding, watering, walking, training, and cleaning animals. I’d love to walk any dogs or swing by if you need them to be let out or fed/taken care of! I am available after work most days from 3pm-8pm. Please give a day notice if possible. I am also available certain weekends. If reserving for a weekend please give 3-5 days notice if possible. Walks: I will make sure the harness is on correctly before walking. I pick up poo if provided with a doggy bag as well. I also will fill up their water dish after the walk to rehydrate. If desired, I can bring treats on the walk (owner provided) for positive reinforcement if your dog is still learning how to walk and follow commands. Drop-ins: I will check the food bowl and refill if necessary, fill the water bowl with fresh water, and watch the dog when he/she is outside at all times. I can also scoop the litter box for a cat if needed. I also offer lots of pets, scratches and attention 🥰 Both: I will be careful when locking up the house before leaving, and can bring any mail on the porch indoors when I see it. I will also return any leashes or other items to wherever they were located when I arrived. Since I only offer dog walking and drop ins, I would not expect to be responsible for an extended list of tasks like one would for overnight sitting. But I am more than willing to do whatever you need for a drop in, which includes (but not limited to): feeding, watering, walking, and brushing/cleaning. I will perform these tasks in whichever way you would prefer and/or specify.

The park and a dog park are less than a mile away. I can crate you pet if needed. I have a fenced in yard at my home. We live 2 blocks from the park.
“Molly put my mind at ease while away on a work trip. She took great care of my cat, checked in and communicated often, sent lots of comforting pictures, and left the house in perfect shape. I would highly recommend.”

“Elise was great with my pups giving them lots of love and play time while I was away. She was able to accommodate our last minute plans and gave our dogs the quality time they needed.”

About: I have been around pets my entire life. I have had 2 cats and 3 dogs in my life span. My first job was at a doggy daycare. My cousins are currently managers at that doggy daycare so I have learned a lot more about pets. I have taken care of pets with certain medications that need to be taken in a timely manner and have fed dogs with certain feeding habits such as a slow feeder bowl. I also have taken care of pets that were at one point strays and are becoming accustomed to their new home. So before becoming a pet sitter I worked 2 jobs as one as a biomedical engineer and the other as just a normal Home Depot associate. I decided to leave Home Depot as it just became too much for me as they were both full time jobs and so I am just a biomedical engineer now. I work the pet care around my daily job as a biomedical engineer and don’t let my daily job affect the care of a persons pet. So when it comes to taking care of someone’s pet the owner knows best like no one can know your pet more than you do so I will follow your instructions to the smallest detail and I will take care of your pet just as you would and never do anything with out the owners consent. Because you need to feel comfortable and confident in me taking care of your pet so you can relax and feel good about being away from your pet.
About: I'm very passionate about animals and love helping people make their furry babies happy and comfortable. I have over 20 years of experience, including work at a pet daycare and resort, five years of experience in animal first aid, and simple grooming. I have a lot of free time and love taking care of animals. I have a goal to provide quality care and build a career. I offer in-home services where your pet is comfortable! I will care for your pet according to the schedule provided. I offer dog walking, feeding, light grooming etc.
“We’ve sought Kacie out every time we go out of town and will continue doing so. Our boys love her, even the skittish one(!), and we always come home to them safe and well fed.”

About: I have been pet sitting for a few years now. I'm currently studying veterinary technology at Baker College. I'm extremely passionate about animals, so this isn't just a job to me. It's something I absolutely love doing. I enjoy spending my free time volunteering at animal shelters and sanctuaries. I have experience working independently and with animals and I know how to administer shots if needed. I also have a flexible schedule. I'm currently working part time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I will be unavailable on Wednesdays but my availability for the rest of the week is open. I will make sure your pups are fed and given plenty of attention and walks. I can give baths upon request as well. I will treat your pups like my own.
“Lynne did a wonderful job of taking care of my two dogs coming over multiple times in the day while I was at work. She was very attentive and on time it was pleasant to work with her. I definitely will use her again.”
About: I’ve loved and cared for animals my whole life! I have a senior Chihuahua who I’ve raised since she was a puppy, so I understand the needs of both young and senior pets. I’ve also cared for cats (including kittens), and I have pet sat for family members’ dogs, from a young Great Pyrenees and an energetic Australian Shepherd to a playful Beagle and a tiny Pomeranian. Beyond dogs and cats, I have experience with fish tanks, birds, turtles, and even chickens, so I’m comfortable caring for a variety of animals. I’m responsible, reliable, and truly dedicated to making sure every pet feels happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. Right now, my schedule is very flexible, which means I’m available most days and times throughout the week. Whether it’s a morning walk, mid-day drop-in, or evening sitting, I can easily adjust to fit your pet’s routine. I provide care in my clients’ homes so pets can stay relaxed and comfortable in their own environment. I carefully follow all owner instructions and keep to the pet’s usual routine. I always ensure doors and gates are securely closed, pets are leashed during walks, and homes are treated with respect. My goal is to make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.
Westland dog parents share their Rover experiences
Kristina is the absolute best with my dogs. I used her M-Th for months and just backed down to when needed, only due to niece moving in and her ability to let the dogs out during the day. I catch myself still sending her pics of the pups because I know they miss her. She sends updates and pics at every visit. She does extras for them as well as gifting toys that I know they love. If you're looking for someone extremely reliable and trustworthy, look no further. She is fantastic.
