She loved hanging out in the huge backyard with friends and lounging on the couch watching household activities and sleeping. Highly recommend Teresa. She’s sent lots of pictures and updates so I could see Ginsberg was happy and relaxed.”

“Amie and her family are wonderful! She is a great communicator and sends daily updates, which gives us reassurance that our dog is being well taken care of. She treats our dog like he is another member of their family, which we so appreciate. Our dog requires a lot of love and attention, which her family provides to him. We will definitely be booking again! Thank you, Amie and family!”

“Irma and Daniel went above and beyond in caring for Blue, and I am so grateful for everything they did. When a snowstorm delayed my return home, they were unbelievably kind, reassuring, and flexible, taking away so much of my stress during an already difficult situation. Knowing that Blue was safe, happy, and being treated like part of their family meant the world to me. She was clearly well cared for, entertained, and loved. I truly cannot recommend them highly enough and would trust them with Blue again in a heartbeat.”

About: I have had a dog my whole life until our dog passed away. I have decided to care for other people’s dogs to help fill the void of ours. We are empty nesters who would love the companionship of an animal to snuggle and care for. We love to walk and go to parks which we will do for your fur baby. I work 7 am to 6 pm but come home during the day for lunch so your fur baby will be able to go outside a few times a day. Also, home in the evenings and weekends if you were to choose us to care for your dog. We have a fenced in yard and plenty of grass to run on. Our home is not huge but we allow dogs to roam and if a kennel is needed we would ask you to bring yours to our house so the dog has a familiar place to go. We are loving dog people.
“Andrew was a great choice to care for Toby. We went on a two-week international adventure, where cell reception would be spotty. It was good to know that Toby would be with very responsible sitters, given that we could not be in touch all the time. Thank you for peace of mind.”

“Evelyn was great and we will definitely be asking her to hang out with our two boys for any future trips. I know our two cats were happy and cared for while we were away.”

“Jennifer is absolutely fantastic! She took wonderful care of my three cats while I was away. She was incredibly reliable, communicative, and sent the cutest daily updates and photos that gave me complete peace of mind. All three of my cats warmed up to her immediately. I highly recommend her services to any pet parent!”

“I highly recommend Lauren! My two cats do not typically like strangers and will hide, but they warmed up to her rather quickly. Lauren went above and beyond for one of my cats who was unexpectedly prescribed medication shortly before I was leaving town. Lauren worked hard to wrangle her daily and brought in her sister to help when the cat had figured out the routine and was determined to avoid her medication. She provided pictures of my fur babies on each visit and made sure that I was kept informed.”

“Christina did an amazing job of bonding with my cat. It gave me enormous reassurance while I was traveling to know he was being well cared for. Thanks a million Christina. You're at the top of my list when I'm traveling in the future.”

“Corri has been our primary pet sitter for a couple of years now. She is a wonderful and caring pet sitter for our kitties. She is dependable and reliable, and we would highly recommend her!”

“Kristina is amazing! My cats loved her instantly and she was so good with them! She also had wonderful communication and sent lots of pictures! I recommend her for sure!!”

“Nikki is amazing! She took really great care of our senior cats and our home. We didn’t even have that kitty cat cold shoulder when we got home, because she spent time with each one:) Nikki went above and beyond. You can tell she is a cat person! I highly recommend Nikki for your cat care needs.”

“10000/10!✨ getting married in another state, gone for 4 days & 4 cats, plus one who medicated twice a day & she was there everyday, updates with tons of photos, she’s so sweet & made me feel so relaxed leaving all my babies with her. I would highly recommend her 🤍 I will be using her again”

“Celia was absolutely wonderful! She took excellent care of our two kitties, paying close attention to their individual needs and spending quality time playing with them. She followed all of our instructions perfectly and even kindly took care of our plants. I would recommend Celia without the slightest hesitation. And of course, after such a flawlessly executed first experience, I will definitely hire her again for future pet-sitting assignments.”

“Faith checked in on our cat while we were out of town for spring break. There was a little hiccup at the beginning but we figured it, and after that every went smoothly. Faith was very honest and accommodating which I both appreciate very much. Communication went well, and the regular picture updates showed clearly that our cat felt comfortable enough around Faith to come close engough to get petted and to play. We arrived home to a well cared for cat and home. Thank you very much. When we need a sitter again and our schedules line up, I'm booking Faith again.”

About: I’ve cared for cats my entire life and currently have four cats of my own. I understand different personalities, from shy and nervous cats to playful and social ones. I’m comfortable feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, administering basic medications, and giving plenty of attention and playtime. I know how important it is to keep cats comfortable in their own environment and will treat your pets like they’re my own.
“This was my first time using the Rover App to find a sitter for my two cats (Nippy - 7 & Tik Tok - 2). Bailey's review history, kitty sitter experience and quick responses to my questions made her a good match for my fur babies. My kitties warmed up to her in a few short days and came home without any signs of distress. The photos, videos and messaging calmed my nerves & I knew they were in very capable hands. The app, itself, is easy to use and opened up a world of local pet sitters I didn't know existed. Will DEFINITELY be leaning on Rover & Bailey for future petting sitting opportunities Highly recommend both. Happy Kitties for life!! 🐈💕🐈⬛”

“Terri was amazingly accommodating! She helped us out so much by picking our dog up for us when we were in a bind and bringing him to her house very last minute, even though she hadn't watched Remi before! We were so impressed and grateful! Thanks again Terri!!”

“I couldn’t possibly be happier with my dog’s experience at Teresa’s home. From our meet and greet a few days ago to daycare today, Teresa has been nothing but kind, knowledgeable, and welcoming to my dog and my family. Her dogs were a great mix of playful and chill - my pup is worn out this evening, haha. This is EXACTLY what I was hoping for when I thought about daycare for my new rescue dog. Many more playdates to come. 🙂 It’s so comforting knowing she was in excellent hands.”

About: My husband Kyle and I have had dogs our whole life and have always enjoyed spending time with them as well as training them. We currently have a cat and a fox red lab who is very loving, incredibly smart, and well trained. We also take care of dogs for family members when they are on vacation or at work for an extended period of time. I am a stay at home mom currently. I just had a baby in November 2022 and I’m looking to make some extra income for our family. I am home all day and have a half an acre fenced in yard for the pups to run around and play. When my husband is off work, he loves to play with the dogs and help train them. We have a fenced in yard to play in and go potty. We also have a very friendly Labrador retriever dog who could keep your dog company or if preferred we have enough space to separate them in the house or a large crate for your dog if that’s what is preferred as well. Whatever makes you most comfortable as a dog mama or dad is what we will do to best take care of your furry friend.
“Dena and her family did a great job with Biscuit. She was happy and content when I picked her up. It is clear that they provided her with loving care. We will definitely be back.”

“Brenda was excellent! We needed a sitter last minute. She was able to accommodate our needs. She took excellent care of our guy. She communicated with us during his stay and even sent pictures!”

About: I have been caring for a pet for over twelve years. I have had my own dog since she was a Puppy. She is My fur daughter, and I treat her as such. She only gets the best food, and she has the run of the house. Your dog will have the same. I don't care about dogs being on my furniture or my bed. My dog sleeps on my bed every night, and she rests on the furniture whenever she wants. Your dog will be able to do the same at my house. I will make sure your dog gets regular walks and outside time. I will also make sure that he or she gets all the love and care he or she deserves. My dog is very friendly and she loves other dogs. So your dog will have someone to play with too. I work from home so your pet will always have company. I am at home most of the time during the day and night because of the nature of my job. I am the only person who lives in my house, so I can give total attention to your pet all day, without any interruptions. Also I can make sure they get regular play time if necessary.
About: If i had 100 fenced acres i would probably have 100 dogs. First hand experience with Golden Retrievers, Boxers, Dobermans, Cocker Spaniels, Labrador Retrievers, Schnauzers, Irish Wolf Hounds, Terriers and Yorkies. I periodically raise and train Golden Retrievers for Leaderdogs for the Blind. If i am completely blocked off for a couple weeks i am probably hosting a leaderdog puppy for another raiser that is on a vacation. I have a lot of repeat customers and look forward to seeing their dogs get excited when they pull into my driveway. It would be tough but if i had to pick the breed i couldn't live without i would put Goldens at the top. Even though i don't let any dogs on my bed i’m known for sleeping on the floor in the living-room with the dogs.

“Brittany was very accommodating and took my last minute request. There can be improvement in communication to avoid misunderstandings. But, she was very kind and caring and put forth the effort to clear up what was misunderstood.”

I'm currently working as flight pet nanny, this makes my schedule flexible to fit your needs to care for your pet. As I provide daily and overnight stays. We will have a meet and greet ahead of time. About: I love and care for all types of pets. I began dog sitting and walking for neighbors, friends, and family when I was 14, but I learned how to care for pets at home from a very young age. I grew up around dogs and cats, and my family has always had at least two pets at a time. I recently graduated with my master’s degree and started working in my field. My job is hybrid, with 50% of my time in the office and 50% working from home, so my schedule is currently very flexible. I also love hiking and exploring new trails! I’m excited to have my own puppy one day, but in the meantime, I would be more than happy to care for your fur baby so you can enjoy your vacation or work trips worry-free. I understand that every pet has different needs, and every home has different rules. I will make sure to carefully follow all safety instructions and house rules while caring for your furry baby/babies. My schedule is very flexible because I work a hybrid job, spending part of my week working from home. This allows me to provide pets with plenty of attention, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day. I’m available for morning, evening, and weekend care, and I always make time to follow each pet’s normal routine so they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. Safety is my biggest priority. I have been watching dogs for a few years now, and one thing I notice is every dog owner has their own definition of what safety looks like for their pet. I always try my best to keep the routine that the dog owners have already established for their pet, so that the pet does not feel unsafe or stressed.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life — I’ve had both dogs and cats in my home since birth, and caring for them truly comes naturally to me. Currently, I share my home with a Standard Poodle, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and two dog-friendly cats who are all well-socialized and used to visiting pets. I understand how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pet in someone else’s care, so I’m always happy to arrange a video call or an in-person meet and greet beforehand — whatever helps give you peace of mind. Why pet parents choose me: • Your dog will enjoy a comfortable, home-like environment with plenty of love and attention — not long hours outside unsupervised or crated unnecessarily. • I only board for one family at a time, which allows me to give your pet individualized care and attention while also limiting exposure to unfamiliar animals. • I work full-time from home, so your pet will rarely, if ever, be left alone. • As a Rover customer myself, I know how reassuring regular communication can be. I’m happy to send frequent photo updates and check-ins while you’re away. • I pride myself on being dependable, reliable, and attentive. Whether it’s boarding, walks, or drop-ins, you can count on me to be punctual and fully committed to your pet’s care. • I do not require crating for dogs who are not normally crated at home. I want your pet to feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible during their stay. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, loved, and completely at home while they’re with me — and for you to feel confident knowing they’re being cared for like family. I work full-time from home Monday - Friday, but I am able walk and care for pets on my breaks and lunch hour. My work schedule is extremely flexible. I will care for your pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether that means belly rubs, head scratches, cuddles, treats, playtime, or simply quiet companionship, I’ll tailor my care to your pet’s individual personality and needs. And if your pet prefers their space or is more independent, I’ll always respect their boundaries and comfort level. For drop-in visits, I’m open to watering plants, taking out trash, bringing in mail etc. in addition to caring for your pet(s). Just let me know what you need done!
About: My very first job was starting a dog walking business with my sister and best friend when I was 13! I would walk up to two dogs at a time, feed them their meals, spend time with them while their owners were away, and play with them! I now have two of my own dogs that I adore and love spending time with. Throughout the years, my love for dogs and animals has only grown! I have been completing Rover services since May of 2026, and have fallen in love with it as a full-time job! I am available Monday through Friday, and the times are very flexible, as well as weekends as needed. I am looking to see more dogs weekly, so reach out to see if the times works! At my house, we have a fenced in yard, so my dogs roam freely. While on walks, they use a harness and a leash. I am comfortable with putting on all harnesses and prefer to walk a dog with a leash, but if the dog is trained well enough to not need one, I am comfortable with that as well.
“Unbelievable service. On time. Flexible. Reliable & Trustworthy. Cleans my dogs paws when they get dirty from walks. Sophia usually doesnt take to strangers. She loves Kristina and gets excited when Kristina visits as if they were besties. Most importantly Kristina loves her and treats my dog is if Sophia were her own. Strongly recommend”

Because of my 4 cats at home, I will not be boarding any animals inside my home. This is to ensure that my cats are not stressed out and will not stress out your furry friends!
About: Hi! I’m a social work student with a lifelong love for animals and hands-on experience caring for dogs. I grew up with dogs and have a strong understanding of their behaviors—what they need, how they communicate, and what that means for the people who love them. I know how much pets are a part of the family, and how important it is to have someone you trust to care for them when you can’t be there. I’m CPR and First Aid certified, dependable, and attentive—not just to animals, but also to the routines, preferences, and peace of mind of their humans. Every pet is unique, and I’m always happy to adapt to their personality and needs with patience, compassion, and care. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just good company, I’m here to support both you and your furry family member. Pet care fits naturally into my routine—I’m a student with a flexible schedule, and spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy and find grounding. Whether it’s early morning walks, afternoon playtime, or evening check-ins, I’m happy to build my day around making sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for. In both my home and a client’s home, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and loving environment where pets feel comfortable and cared for. I follow any routines or preferences you have—whether that’s specific feeding times, walk schedules, or little quirks your pet loves. With my own dogs, I’ve used positive reinforcement to teach commands and tricks, and I’m always gentle and encouraging. I bring that same approach to every animal I care for—lots of praise, patience, and treats (if allowed!). I also pay close attention to body language and behavior so I can respond to your pet’s needs in real time, whether they’re feeling playful, anxious, or just want some quiet company. My goal is always to make sure your pet feels safe, seen, and loved—just like I’d want for my own.

“Dawn was great! We got updated with pictures and video. Bella really enjoyed her time. I highly recommend Dawn and I will be reaching out to her on our next trip away. Thank you, Dawn 🐾”

“Faith and her family were lovely to deal with, and our Zoey sure enjoyed staying with them!! Great communication. Sadly, for us, we aren't in this area often, so we're not sure when we'll be able to have Faith keep Zoey for us again! Definitely recommend!”

“JoAnn is the absolute best. Our boy Marty came back healthy and although he got dropped off with some skin issues she was so attentive to caring for him and providing his medication. We appreciated the daily pictures/videos and she was very responsive with any questions or concerns we had while away. Thank you again to JoAnn!”

“Lindsey was an incredibly caring and loving caregiver for my senior pug. She thoughtfully updated us with pictures and updates while we were away and she was very flexible with pickup and drop off times. So happy we found her. ♡”

“Andrew was a great choice to care for Toby. We went on a two-week international adventure, where cell reception would be spotty. It was good to know that Toby would be with very responsible sitters, given that we could not be in touch all the time. Thank you for peace of mind.”

“Susan did a fantastic job watching our GSP, Missy. Missy is a little anxious & nervous, and Susan knew just how to handle her. Susan provided frequent updates and pictures which assured us she was in good hands. In addition, Susan was graciously flexible with drop off and pickup times since we were working around our DTW flights. Thank you so much Susan! We will definitely consider you again for watching our Missy!”

“Katie kept us up to date on how Pumpkin was doing. Dog was relaxed and happy upon her return home and in all the pictures sent. Communication was great. We have another booking later this summer.”

“Chris and Cass took great care of our Smokey buddy. They were even willing to give him his daily meds that he needed last minute. We will be booking with them again!”

About: I live alone and work from home so I am home every day. I enjoy quiet moments at home, neighborhood walks, gardening and cooking. I have had pets since I was 5 years old. Even though I have a cat she has learned to keep away while I am dog sitting. Your pet will love my semi-private fence. They will be protected by an all enclosed fence but still able to people and dog watch easily. I have a school behind my home with a large playground and creek in the back. I work from home so I will be with your pet all day and have time for breaks to let them out and for several walks. I have an enclosed back yard. They can go back and forth from outside to inside. I have a window to my backyard as I work during the day. Taking walking breaks from work is easy for me.
“I’d give 100 stars if I could! Alex was amazing with Sage! We loved the photos, videos, and updates! You know Sage had a good a time when he ran back to their house when I picked him up! I will absolutely be using them again when I’m back in town. Thank you!”

“Kayla and her family were extremely accommodating for my dog, Sadie. We initially set up a meet-and-greet with her dogs, who were incredibly friendly with her. Sadie and the rest of the pups had plenty of room to run around their fenced backyard, with Kayla always keeping a watchful eye on them. She was also kind enough to accept a last minute request to watch Sadie for an additional day. Overall, I’m extremely grateful to Kayla and her family for taking care of Sadie. I’m hoping we can come back and ask for her services again!”

“Tanios was a fantastic sitter for Sophie! She took to him right away, and it was obvious they had a great time together. He was friendly, reliable, and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. It was wonderful knowing Sophie was happy, well cared for, and getting lots of attention. We’d absolutely book with Tanios again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring sitter!”

“We booked an overnight "trial run" to see how comfortable our dog Hobbes would feel in these new surroundings so that we could be comfortable with a lengthier stay later. I could tell Hobbes was cared for well. Looking forward to using them in the future!”
