“Ally has been an absolute blessing. My original sitter had a scheduling conflict for about a week and I was fortunate Ally was available to fill in. I'd actually considered her to be the original sitter but the only reason I didn't was because I managed to find a sitter who was in the same apartment complex as me, which gave me peace of mind in case my pet had any emergencies. The initial meet and greet went very smoothly. She brought a notebook and I felt like a professor as she took notes while I explained the care duties. She was diligent with her questions and, during the visits, I never found myself having to repeat any of the instructions I'd given. My cat (who took almost a year to warm up to me) warmed up to her within minutes, which totally didn't make me jealous. It's always a plus when your pet gives you the greenlight. I chose the 60-min visit option and I know it can get repetitive and boring doing the same things every visit but she showed absolutely no signs of an "I'm just here for a paycheck" attitude. Her Rover cards always contained detailed descriptions of my cat's eating and bathroom habits, as well as his general demeanor and what they both did during the visits. And the pictures wouldn't just be the same pose shot from different angles either. All in all, she took care of my boy as if he were her own, which is honestly all I'd hoped for. As she's only a block away from me, she's definitely my first choice if I ever need a sitter again.”

About: My daughter visits from Virginia Beach 3-4 times a year and stays up to 2 weeks with 4 dogs from 40-75 lbs all spayed or neutered I’m recently retired and am home most of the time only driving for errands and appointments. I live alone and would love the company of a dog. My last dog passed away 4 years ago I have a fenced in yard and can easily crate a dog if needed. I have a large backyard and would be willing and able to walk.

About: I’ve been taking care of me own dog for 8 years she’s a pit-bull mix terrier and I’ve also had experience in administering medication with different animals as long as there not aggressive and I’ve also had experiences dealing with different dog breads as a former employee at pet land and a summer job at an animal pet spa as a bather. I have lots of time to take care of your family I call animals family because that’s what my dog means to me and I’m also trying to make this into a living and a career. About: Hello! I've been caring for family members' and friends' cats and dogs for years, and I genuinely love spending time with animals. I know every pet has their own personality, routine, and preferences, and I enjoy getting to know what makes each one unique. I can't board pets in my home because my cats are very sensitive to other animals, but I'm happy to provide drop in visits, walks, and companionship in your pet's home where they're most comfortable. I'm comfortable administering medication if needed, and I'll always communicate with you throughout your booking by sending updates and photos. My goal is to help your pet feel safe and cared for while giving you peace of mind while you're away. I'm also happy to do a meet and greet beforehand so everyone (pets included) can get comfortable. I work from home full time, which gives me a flexible schedule for drop in visits and walks throughout the week. I have a standing meeting every weekday at 10:00 a.m., and any additional meetings are usually scheduled between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., but I'm often able to plan visits around them. If your pet needs care at a specific time, just let me know. I'll always be upfront about my availability and do my best to accommodate your schedule. All of my services take place in your pet's home, where they can stay in a familiar and comfortable environment. I'll follow your instructions closely and stick to your pet's normal routine, whether that includes feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, litter box or potty breaks, medication, or simply keeping them company. I'm comfortable caring for pets of all sizes, breeds, temperaments, and energy levels. I'll treat your home with the same respect I would my own, and if I notice anything out of the ordinary, I'll let you know right away. You'll also receive regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing.

About: As a 31 year old who's owned dogs his entire life, I've learned dog behaviour in and out, while I don't consider myself a trainer, the breeds I've owned and work with include hounds, German Shepard/Mixes, Pitbulls, Huskies, etc, I provide a speciality trail hiking experience with your pup! They will be cleaned and checked for fleas and ticks every time, and healthy exhaustion is guaranteed! My entire life I have owned high energy dogs, as a lover of nature I always learned towards dogs that could hike with me through the woods in Rain, Snow or sunshine, after doing it for years for my pups, I want to give other puppies and even senior dogs that feeling of freedom in nature! If your dog needs a companion, my German Shepard Rita can join! If your dog prefers solo hikes or hikes with their siblings that is okay as well! I treat all pets like my own children, same as yours!

About: My family has always been a "dog" family. I've taken responsibility to take care of all our family dogs and i've grown to love animals ever since then:) I am currently a student at Michigan State University and am available throughout the summer, during school breaks, and on most weekends. During the school year, my availability may vary, but please feel free to message me to check if I'm available:) I read care instructions very carefully and follow all precautions. I am also stronger and can keep them near or control them easier. I love to provide them with love and comfort or any fun play time.

“I was so nervous about leaving my senior cat in the hands of someone else as she is very picky. And usually has choice words for strangers. Chelsea instantly eased my anxieties. She did a meet n greet which I thought was so kind. My cat instantly liked her (which is not usual for her!) Not only did Chelsea do the drop-in perfectly but she even was patient enough for my other skiddish cat to come out of hiding. And she sent plenty of pictures that gave me even more relief on my vacation. She even brought our packages in from the porch!
