About: I have trained, watched, worked with, handled, and loved on every temperament of pet from lovable couch potatoes, anxiety ridden, hospice care, and animals that do not do well with other people or animals for over 20 years. About: My husband Kyle and I have had dogs our whole life and have always enjoyed spending time with them as well as training them. We currently have a cat and a fox red lab who is very loving, incredibly smart, and well trained. We also take care of dogs for family members when they are on vacation or at work for an extended period of time. I am a stay at home mom currently. I just had a baby in November 2022 and I’m looking to make some extra income for our family. I am home all day and have a half an acre fenced in yard for the pups to run around and play. When my husband is off work, he loves to play with the dogs and help train them. We have a fenced in yard to play in and go potty. We also have a very friendly Labrador retriever dog who could keep your dog company or if preferred we have enough space to separate them in the house or a large crate for your dog if that’s what is preferred as well. About: If i had 100 fenced acres i would probably have 100 dogs. First hand experience with Golden Retrievers, Boxers, Dobermans, Cocker Spaniels, Labrador Retrievers, Schnauzers, Irish Wolf Hounds, Terriers and Yorkies. I periodically raise and train Golden Retrievers for Leaderdogs for the Blind. If i am completely blocked off for a couple weeks i am probably hosting a leaderdog puppy for another raiser that is on a vacation. I have a lot of repeat customers and look forward to seeing their dogs get excited when they pull into my driveway. It would be tough but if i had to pick the breed i couldn't live without i would put Goldens at the top. Even though i don't let any dogs on my bed i’m known for sleeping on the floor in the living-room with the dogs.

About: I am comfortable with all dogs. My childhood dog is a yorkie poo. A small sassy dog with lots of attitude. I fostered for the Huron Valley Humane Society for about 7 years. I’m CPR and First Aid certified, dependable, and attentive—not just to animals, but also to the routines, preferences, and peace of mind of their humans. Every pet is unique, and I’m always happy to adapt to their personality and needs with patience, compassion, and care. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just good company, I’m here to support both you and your furry family member. Pet care fits naturally into my routine—I’m a student with a flexible schedule, and spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy and find grounding. Whether it’s early morning walks, afternoon playtime, or evening check-ins, I’m happy to build my day around making sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for. In both my home and a client’s home, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and loving environment where pets feel comfortable and cared for. I follow any routines or preferences you have—whether that’s specific feeding times, walk schedules, or little quirks your pet loves. With my own dogs, I’ve used positive reinforcement to teach commands and tricks, and I’m always gentle and encouraging. I bring that same approach to every animal I care for—lots of praise, patience, and treats (if allowed!). I also pay close attention to body language and behavior so I can respond to your pet’s needs in real time, whether they’re feeling playful, anxious, or just want some quiet company. My goal is always to make sure your pet feels safe, seen, and loved—just like I’d want for my own.

“Sydney was amazing!!! Poor Charlie got sick with 2 parasites right before his visit. He was feeling much better after a few days on medication so Sydney still was willing to take him in. She continued the rest of his treatment which consisted of multiple medications at carousing times throughout the day. She continued to provide us updates through out his stay and reassured us that he was definitely on the up and up the whole time. Her location is ideal for airport travel as she is only about 10 minutes from DTW. We will absolutely use Sydney in the future!! Thank you again!”
