Hello, I'm Hope! I guarantee that you, as dog-owners, will feel good having me with your furbabies and your pups will be safe in and love my company. I provide a detail-oriented eye and will treat your dog as if they were my own: with respect and deep care! I follow instructions well and you can leave your home knowing that your pups are in great hands. I have owned and cared for two high-energy Vizslas in my life but caring for the two of them is hardly all my experience with dogs summed up. I've puppy-sat and walked dogs ranging from ages younger than a year to 11 years old and have cared for dogs small, medium and large. I'm an active person and love to walk and run in beautiful spaces like parks, trails and cities (I'm a fast walker so I can keep up with large dogs or high energy pups like Vizslas and others!) I love to engage dogs with social activity with other dogs and provide them with games and training opportunities. I believe that socialization is very important to dogs, growing and adult; with humans like myself who'll love them and play with them, or socialization with other dogs involving gentle introductions. I also believe there's always a time to let the dogs do whatever it is they like to do to get some down-time. (certain limits permitting of course!) Positive mental and physical activity paired with unparalleled concern and loving company is what you'll get every time with my visits. 🐾 Overnight Stay Policy: Sleeping Arrangements To ensure the safety, comfort, and best rest for both your dog and me, I have a clear policy regarding sleeping arrangements during overnight pet-sitting stays in your home. Designated Sleeping Area: Unless otherwise discussed and agreed upon prior to booking, your dog must have an established, comfortable, and safe designated sleeping area (e.g., a crate, a dog bed, a separate room, or a specific spot on the floor) that is not my temporary sleeping space (the human bed). No Bed Sharing with Me: For rest and safety, I cannot accommodate dogs who are accustomed to or insist upon sleeping directly in the bed with me. Addressing Bed-Time Whining/Magnetism: I understand that some dogs may whine or try to jump into the bed when their primary human isn't present. While I will provide comfort, a final potty break, and reassurance, I must maintain the boundaries of the designated sleeping area. Persistent and prolonged attempts to share the bed will be met with redirection to their designated spot. Impact on Future Bookings: If a dog is unable to settle in their designated area and my rest is significantly compromised, I reserve the right to decline future overnight services for that pet. My ability to provide the best care during the day depends on my adequate rest overnight. To ensure the highest level of care and maintain a consistent, healthy environment for your pet—and myself—during my stay, I have established the following basic accommodation standards. These requirements are necessary so I can dedicate 100% of my focus and energy to your pet's well-being and security. Overnight Stay Requirements To ensure I can provide the best possible care for your pet in a healthy and professional work environment throughout my stay, I require the following minimum standards for my accommodations: Dedicated Space: The guest room and bathroom must be available exclusively for my use and provided in a neat, clean, and sanitized condition upon my arrival. General Hygiene: Shared living spaces (kitchen, common areas) should be accessible and maintained with basic hygiene, including clean, wiped counters, fresh refrigerator space, and clear floors to prevent hazards. Clean Linens: Please provide clean, fresh bedding and towels for the guest space. Cleaning Fee Policy I reserve the right to apply a $35 non-negotiable cleaning fee if the designated sleeping or bathing areas do not meet these standards. This fee covers the time required to sanitize the space before the service begins, ensuring I can focus my energy entirely on your pet's needs.
