About: Hi! I've been a dog owner since I was 7 years old. Since then, my love for animals has only grown stronger. Currently, I have a 3 year old Corgi named Jasper. I've learned a lot about dogs since adopting him and I'm always looking for new ways to keep him entertained. For example, making DIY puzzle games during mealtime, teaching him tricks (both useful and for fun), and taking him to new places. Jasper also tends to be anxious, so I have experience with putting in a great deal of work to make dogs comfortable. I also have experience looking after family members' dogs while they're away, including senior dogs. I started Rover as a way to stay busy in between jobs and I’ve found that I really like caring for pets! I’m now in the process of starting my new job in mid-August, so most of my availability will be on the weekends in the near future. I also have some weekday availability for evening drop ins or walks. I would love to care for your pets while you’re away or just when you need an extra hand! About: I have been taking care of animals for 8+ years. I have many years of experience and am also a cat owner myself. I feel very comfortable taking care of pets. About: I'm a mature pet/house sitter who will take great care of your pets and leave your house as clean as you left it and perhaps cleaner. I stay at your house every night leaving only for errands or a lunch/dinner out. I enjoy getting your pet outside for walks and play. I have taken care of cats, goats, chickens, horses, a mule and a donkey, I don't mind getting my hands dirty. I am retired so I am very flexible but prefer a few days notice, however if you need a pet/house sitter on a same day notice it's possible I can accommodate you. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
