“Can't say enough great things about Alyssa! Our pup was walked by a number of walkers, but Alyssa's interaction with Jackson really stood out. Jackson LOVED her and she paid close attention to detail in our walking requests (need for exercise!) and understood his anxiety (often mistaken for aggression). Immediately we turned to Alyssa to stay with Jackson at our home in our absence. Jackson is always tired and happy when we return. Also, the house is always immaculate upon our return, which is tough with Jackson's shedding! Alyssa also left us with a detailed timeline of Jackson's activities and always sends the sweetest pictures of him (one we even framed). Finding Alyssa was a blessing for us after moving to D.C. knowing no one. We fully trust her in our home and with our furry child!”

About: HI! I was meant to be a fur baby mom as long as I can remember! I grew up in a home with babies of all shapes, sizes, and kinds; including bunnies, birds, turtles, cats, dogs, you name it we had it. I took on the responsibility of taking care of each pet we had, considering I was usually the one begging to get it in the first place. My heart belongs in the world of care, leading me to be a pet caretaker since I was very young, as well as a nanny and teacher for several years. I currently have my own fur babies and take great pride in being a rescue mom. I have rescued and rehabilitated 4 dogs, and numerous cats. These experiences gave me knowledge and skill in medication administration, wound care and maintenance, accident clean up, behavior management, patience, and so so much more. I currently have 1 sweet baby of my own (and would have more if I had the space!). Most of the loving companions I have worked with have been extremely medically complex and have truly shown me the love I carry in my heart. I have experience with pets of all ages and sizes, ranging from hamsters to 110 pound dogs! No matter the circumstances, in sickness and health, I can promise love, patience, and individualized care to any and all your little loves:) Pet care is truly what I live for. Between caring for other peoples babies as well as my own, I' incredibly fulfilled. I prioritize being able to give my best, individualized care to each pet I encounter and have made this my career while working my way through college. I follow an approach centered in treating each pet in my care as if they are my own. I keep to a structured, thorough routine to provide the most comfort possible. I have the most experience in behaviorally challenged animals and take pride in my patience and kindness I carry with me. Each and every pet has their own needs, personality, and desires and I work hard to honor those to the best of my ability to ensure happiness for all parties. I am a highly communicative person and work hard to be detail oriented, reliable, and put my best foot forward at all times.

I provide this service free of charge for all my clients as a thank you for your business. My family has lived in this area for over 100 years. I was a veterinary technician for 20 years and I have experience with cats, dogs (large & small), fish, reptiles, and farm animals. I have one Doodle, a rescue pit bull, a chihuahua, and two cats. We had cows, ponies, and donkeys for many years but now that my son and step daughter is active in sports we have retired from farm animals. I’m very experienced with all medications including but not limited to: insulin injections, eye drops, and oral medications. I walk dogs daily in Howell, Fowlerville, and Brighton so normally last minute bookings are available. I hope to meet you and your friends soon! Im now a stay at home mom and I work from home. This allows for a flexible schedule for pet sitting and allows me to be available for short notice/emergency visits. I’m generally available through out the day for your pets needs. I don’t normally watch animals in my home but directions will be followed exactly for the care of your pets in your home. Leashed walks or whatever care is needed for your loved one.
