Availability
As a retiree, I have a lot of discretionary time. If in the Washtenaw County area, I may need to run some two-three-hour errands during any given day. That will all be cleared in advance.

About Gordon D.
Safety, trust & environment
I am attentive to the pets, and often stop what I'm doing to give them attention. I am excited when they come into the room. And I am exceedingly patient and gentle.
Information Gordon D. would like to know about your pet
I am a sitter. I do no need a sitter for my dog. But I will complete this field anyway so that I can finish the profile.
A typical day
I will follow whatever routine the pet parents advise. But barring that . . . I would let them out any time they need to. If their yard is not fenced nor has electric barrier, I will supervise them whether or not a leash is called for. If they need attention, I frequent stop what I'm doing and pet them a little. I also set my own gentle boundaries, so that sometimes I can be left along (like, if I'm working, preparing food, etc.)

Pet care experience
I started house/pet-sitting earlier this year. I love it! My two extended-stay experiences included an apartment with two cats, and a home with two boxers. I received superior reviews from both clients. I am fit, can go on long walks, and leave the place cleaner than I found it!
