“Caroline took amazing care of our older dog Lola. Compassionate and caring, Caroline spent extra time and attention, assuring that Lola was fed, had exercise and rest. Caroline’s care for our beloved pet exceeded our expectations. We will use her pooch paradise again.”

“Zachary was great for the whole experience! It was the first time boarding our new dog, and Zachary came out to meet us and Pepper, answered questions we had, and Pepper seems like he had a great time! Zachary sent pics during our trip, and was fast and easy to communicate with, both leading up to the boarding dates and while we were away. Highly recommend!”

“Shashank was great with Smokey, and his dog Chicoo (the same age as Smokey) was such a sweet and friendly companion! I received lots of pictures and updates, which made me feel very happy about choosing Shashank and Chicoo to care for Smokey while I was away.”

“Couldn't have worked out any better. Kelly and Brandon were amazing care givers for Maverick. They made us feel completely comfortable by taking care of our dog in a personable way. We were updated frequently and received photos letting us know all was well. Maverick has a new best friend in Arvon.”

“Deana and her husband took wonderful care of our dog while we were away! They kept us updated with pictures and messages throughout her stay and made her feel at home. We were grateful to find such a wonderful host for our aging dog!”

“Karen was simply amazing. She took wonderful care of our dog, Daisy. And we would absolutely have her watch Daisy again. Karen offered Daisy healthy treats throughout her stay (after making sure it was okay with us). She sent pictures and updates everyday. Daisy was often cozy, comfortable, and snuggled up. Overall, it was obvious to us that Karen is a real animal lover. We are so grateful to have found her.”

“Catherine was absolutely amazing! My family had a medical procedure done and I had to stay with my husband in the hospital for a few days and she would send me updates and really cared about my family. Also I got lots of cute pictures of my furbaby when I missed him dearly💛💛”

“First time using Rover. Mina sent regular photos to let us know how our dog was doing while we were away which was super helpful. Thanks so much for taking good care of her!”

“Teresa was amazing! She took great care of my little guy! I felt very comfortable and you can tell she loves the animals she sits for and treats them like her own pups! She sent me a bunch of pics while I was away which reassured me he was well taken care for! Would 100% book again!”

“Jennifer was a fantastic pet sitter! She send daily updates on how Maple was doing like sleeping on her lap ❤️, it was reassuring to read how much she and her family cared. Thanks so much for your kindness 😊”

“Professional, kind and clearly dog lovers! Happy to find Coddy and Byron for the long holiday weekend. As a lab, Kevin can be quite the handful and after the meet and greet I knew he would be well taken care of. Provided daily updates and answered my questions quickly. Best part is Kevin came home tired and happy! Recommend and will be using again!”

“If you want to treat your dog for the spa / vacation while you are gone , do not look any other place ! They are so amazing and lovely . Zoe is also a sweetheart 😍My dog fell in love with both of them instantly! I can not explain how wonderful and lovely they both are . Will definitely bring my dog back”

“Renee took very good care of Bean for eleven days while my husband and I took a cruise. It was so nice to know Bean had company and was in good hands while we were away. This was my first experience with boarding a cat and the Rover app was a great help. I searched offers in my area, read Renee’s profile and we exchanged information. Bean enjoyed the meet and greet and that sealed the deal. Renee sent pictures and kept us informed. I highly recommend her service.”

“Wow - Anna was an amazing sitter! We were a little nervous leaving our pup (Uki) with a new person, but right from the start, we knew she was in for a great experience. Even before we booked, Anne agreed to have my husband come to her house to allow Uki to get acclimated/make sure it was a good fit. My husband instantly felt at ease with Anne and had no concerns leaving Uki with her. During our vacation, Anne sent us daily photos and *the most adorable* daily status updates on how Uki was doing. She went out of her way to make Uki special treats, accommodate her dietary preferences, allowed her on her sofa, and took her on long walks, and showered her with attention. Honestly, I imagine Uki was a bit sad to leave! We are so grateful to Anne for her attention to our pup and would rebook with her in an instant/recommend her to all our friends. Great first experience with Rover!”
“Josiah was great and offered last-minute services when my original plans fell through for zazu. Their family took great care of my boy, sent regular pictures, and he came home happy and healthy!”

“I have absolutely no words capable to leave a fair review to Natiely. If I say she was amazing it will sound too weak given how perfect her care for Milli was. She truly goes above and beyond to care for your dog, pay attention to details, keeps you updated, understands your best friend's needs and best of all, truly gives love to your furry one. Milli came back happier than when I dropped her, healthier and looking forward to stay again. Best care Milli ever had by far!”
“I left my dog Koda with Andrew for a week and had zero worries. I was able to enjoy my vacation and not stress about my pet. He sent lots of pictures and Koda definitely was enjoying himself in the backyard and on walks. He was definitely a happy boy!!!”

“Thank you Paula for taking care of Lily for a second weekend! It was nice to see Lily so excited to see you when we dropped her off the second time. It gave us confidence we left her in good hands.”

“Deaunna was really flexible with me planning a last minute trip and a total life saver! She was communicative and open about her processes, I felt comfortable and everything she did is regular practice in my home (feeding dogs separately, etc.). Hamilton had no issues and seems happy and calm following pick-up, it seems like he had a great time—Deaunna sent the perfect amount of photos as well! It was nice to be able to vacation and trust he’s in good hands”

“Betsy was great and kind with Fred. This was our first time hiring a pet sitter that we didn't already know, and she made me feel very at ease. Fred seemed very happy when we got home and was well cared for while we were gone. I appreciated the photos and little notes when she visited each day. She even brought in my trash can from the road! I would certainly recommend Betsy.”

“Zachary was fantastic hosting Spooky for an extended stay. He was very patient with Spooky building up his confidence in his temporary home and sent lots of photos and updates about how he was doing. I can tell from the photos Spooky became quite comfortable with Zachary and in his house. I would definitely request Zachary watch Spooky again.”

“Alexis took great care of our cat while we were away! She sent thorough updates, pictures, and was always on time. We really appreciated the peace of mind her care provided. Highly recommend!”

“As a first time Rover user, we were very happy with Alyssa! She took great care of our older cat and communication was excellent. She personally called when she noticed water in our basement after a storm, and then moved a few items out of the water for us. We would definitely use Alyssa again!”

“Absolutely loved Melissa as our sitter. Sent multiple photos a day with status updates. Made us feel extremely reassured that Maisie was being taken care of while we were away. Would definitely rebook Melissa again!”

“Cheryl was so helpful. I booked her last min. She did so good with my boxer Stella. Let her out and played with her. She even went out of her way to put fresh water in the bowl for her. I am so appreciative to have her help and will recommend her to anyone!”

“Hadlie did a great job watching our two cats. She was very communicative the entire time she was caring for them and very professional. Highly recommend!”

“Autumn took amazing care of my cat Ruby! She was very responsive and easy to communicate with, I would highly recommend her and would definitely have her take care of Ruby again!”

About: I love animals. I grew up with a German Shepard and horses and ponies. We had a Black Lab when my Children were school age whom we adored. I have had large dogs including Rottweilers, Black Lab, Shepard's, and Huskies and taken care of small dogs too including poodles and dachshund's. My neighbors have Two Golden Retrievers whom I spend time with and visit me daily. I have a large yard and I love to play with the dogs and walk dogs. I have a medical background with humans and I am a stickler about safety. I once took care of a cat that needed antibiotics through a tube in his leg. I can safely give medicines to pets. I work from home part time so I have plenty of time to exercise and play with your pup. I live on a country road with lots of good things to sniff. I have a ranch style home in a big yard with lots of shade trees. I will leash your dog if needed when they go outside and stay with them to play. I have security cameras at the front of the property. I live in a very safe and friendly neighborhood.

About: Experience: senior cats, bathing, nail trims, administering pills/liquid medication My philosophy: Cats need play too! I make sure your cats get the entertainment they need whether its the magic laser, the elusive string, some cuddles, or spa time (brushing!). I always leave a fresh bowl of water and a clean litterbox before heading out the door. For indoor cats: I am a triple checker when it comes to opening doors. No escape artists get past me. More on my experience: I have and 11 year old black cat Scarecrow and 10 year old orange cat Mewtwo, both indoor cats. As they age I have learned a lot about administering medications when they don't want them and giving baths when they are feeling feisty. I have been pet sitting for friends and neighbors for years now and love learning about every cats individual quirks and how to respect their space if they are shy or engage with them if they are social.

“Thank you Caroline for taking such good care of my Ku'uipo. The video's and pictures you sent of her eating and playing was greatly appreciated. We will definitely be coming back the next time we're in Michigan.”

“My dog has pretty severe separation anxiety as well as fear of other dogs. It has been challenging finding the right caretaker for him. Richard and Sarah have been fantastic with Guinness and he enjoys his time there. A little out of the way to get him there but worth it because of how great Richard and Sarah are with our boy.”

“Catherine is AMAZING! She is so kind, considerate, and takes such great care of our dog Romeo. We had a last minute request for daycare and she accepted and went above and beyond. You can tell she truly loves your dog like her own. I will definitely be using Catherine again in the future and I highly recommend you book with her! I cannot say enough good things.”

About: I currently work at a vet tech. I’m hoping to pursue veterinary school within the next couple years. I have a cat, dog, and tortoise of my own. I love taking care of animals. I’m willing to be flexible with rates too. I have experience sitting independently. New to Rover though! Im working part-time so I have plenty of flexibility with my schedule and will do my best to accommodate your fur babies. They’ll be treated like my own! I cannot provide boarding unfortunately as I don’t have a house. However, I am definitely willing to come sit and do overnight stays if you live a reasonable distance from me.
About: My 2 daughters and I are an animal-loving home. We have 2 playful cocker spaniel mixes, 3 dog-friendly cats, and 3 horses (at a barn). I work from home, so can provide constant companionship and supervision. My girls are also home for the summer and love playing with all animals. Our yard is over an acre with an invisible fence. I can provide a dog runner line, a long tie-out, or take your dog out on a leash. I can provide daily walks, including to our neighborhood pond if your dog likes the water. I am happy to accommodate any reasonable pet care requests, whatever they may be. I just ask that your dog be vaccinated and friendly with other dogs and kids.
“Monica and Razvan are the best!! My pup, Oakley, is a bit shy and they were incredibly patient and kind. Soon enough he was running around like it was hit own home!! They asked helpful questions when we first met and it was evident that they really got to know him and his personality throughout his stay. Plus, he was super tired and happy when he came home. We can’t wait to book another stay!!!”

“Teresa is an awesome and trusted sitter for our dog. Our dog seems very happy and has been in great spirits after both her stays. Teresa sends pictures and provides feedback as to how the day/stay is going. Looking forward for our dog Roxy"s next visit with Teresa. :)”

About: As a semi-retired (work from home) animal lover, I have the time, flexibility, and experience to provide exceptional care for your pets. While I'm new to Rover, I'm certainly not new to pet care. I've been caring for dogs and cats for over 50 years—ever since I was 10 years old! NOTE: I go by MEG not Margaret. I offer: * Dog walking * Drop-in visits for dogs and cats * Doggy daycare in your home or mine * Cat daycare in your home * Short-term overnight stays in your home * Long-term boarding in my home for dogs I maintain a clean, comfortable home with a large yard in a quiet neighborhood. Although the yard is not fenced, your pet's safety is always my top priority, and they will be supervised at all times. I also drive a clean, reliable vehicle should your pet need transportation. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply a calm companion, I'll tailor my care to their individual needs and routine. I understand how important it is to trust someone with a beloved family member, and I take that responsibility seriously. When your pet is with me, they'll be treated like one of my own—with love, patience, compassion, and plenty of attention. My goal is to ensure they're safe, happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away, giving you complete peace of mind. I'd love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family members. Thank you for considering me for your pet care needs! I am semi-retired working from home. I have a fully flexible schedule. I'm willing to do pick-up and drop-off if necessary. I maintain a large clean home... a calm environment. Your pet can enjoy solitude if needed or is welcome to spend time with my hubby and me in all areas of our home (no children/no pets/no smoking). Alternatively I'm available to stay in your home if that makes your pet more comfortable. I have navigated both scenarios. I'm used to following detailed written instructions so your pet will feel comfortable with their usual routine and expectations. I will maintain contact so you can receive updates and photos. If I am sitting for another pet I would clear it with both families.
About: I’ve been a dedicated dog owner for years and genuinely love caring for animals. I currently have a dog of my own, so I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone trustworthy, attentive, and patient. I’m especially attentive to dogs’ comfort levels, routines, energy, and emotional needs. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, quiet companionship, or just consistency and calm energy, I adapt to what helps them feel safe and cared for. I have experience with: • Daily walks and exercise • Senior dog patience and slower-paced care • Administering routines and medications if needed • Dogs with anxiety or overstimulation • Maintaining structured feeding and potty schedules • Providing frequent updates and communication I work from home frequently and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide focused attention and supervision. I treat pets with the same care and respect I would want for my own dog. I have a flexible schedule and genuinely enjoy building pet care into my daily routine. I’m active, enjoy walks and outdoor time, and naturally structure my day around consistency and attentiveness. Because I have a dog of my own, caring for pets is already part of my everyday life, including walks, feeding routines, playtime, comfort, and making sure pets feel safe and settled. I’m home frequently and able to provide regular supervision, attention, potty breaks, and updates throughout the day. I believe pets do best when they feel safe, calm, and comfortable, so I try to maintain consistent routines and pay close attention to their individual personalities and needs. In my home, I provide a clean, quiet, and relaxed environment with regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and supervision. I’m mindful of overstimulation and always make sure pets have space to rest and decompress if needed. In a client’s home, I respect the pet’s established routines as closely as possible — including feeding schedules, walk routines, medications, crate preferences, and house rules. I also understand how important communication is, so I provide regular updates and photos to help owners feel at ease while they’re away. Safety, attentiveness, and trust are extremely important to me, and I care for pets with the same level of responsibility and compassion I would want for my own dog.
“Phoebe had a great visit with Kaeden! It was her first daycare experience. Kaeden communicated well, answered all of my questions, and provides lots of photos. The backyard area is very secure. We will be back!”

About: I’ve owned several dogs, large and small breeds, most of my life. I am a dog lover!!. I am a retired registered nurse, and recently had to say goodbye to our beloved lab, Mack. I am missing a furry friend and would love to meet and care for your pet. I have a lovely setting for boarding your dog or cat. I live in a wooded area with large lots and long meandering roads for walks that are away from busy roads. I am home full time since I retired and love to walk, so your dog will get lots of exercise staying with me. I usually only take one dog at a time, however if you have 2 pets from the same household, I would take both. I would also take 2 dogs, each from different households, if both pet parents agree. I will give full attention to your pet during boarding, doggy day care, drop in visits, and walks. I will love and play with them and follow any specific instructions for pet care you have. I will communicate with pet updates during our visits and send you pictures of your pets daily activities.

“Alyssa and Vince were wonderful to walk my girls for me for most of the summer. About: I have owned two dogs as pets. One lived to be 17. My dogs I have owned were both spunkie and lots of fun! I also worked in Illinois for a local dog walking/sitter company. I would walk my dogs for 20 I do walks in all kinds of weather. I had 2-4 dogs a week. Frankie a male dog and Ginger an older arthritic dog; they were my regulars. I would end every visit with petting and a treat. I really love my dogs and took very good care of them. Every visit ends with a text to the owner including a cute photo and information on whether the dog peed and pooped. I also volunteer at the Huron Velley Humane Society. My son has had all kinds of animals so if you have a bearded dragon or hamster I am familiar with many different pets. I love the flexibility. I enjoy getting outdoors and I love animals. This is a great combo for me. I’m recently stopped working this will a great way to fill my days. My dog gets a lot of love. I believe the best part of dogs is they are simple they just need attention and love. The last two dogs I had I gave lots of petting and hugs. Dogs also need stimulation whether it be playing fetch or using a Kong or some other activity an owner may have I like to incorporate that into my visit.
“Chad was great. My dogs were so happy when I got home. He went the extra mile for them by brushing, spending extra time and walking them thoroughly. He is reliable, timely and kept giving me updates. I will use him every time if he is available. I got his name from a friend. He is a great fit for my dogs.”

“Linda S is a superb dog walker. We have had other dog walkers from Rover and almost all of them have been very good, but Linda S is outstanding, the best of the bestRuthie really loves her and when she comes to the door, Ruthie can hardly wait to see her. Ruthie needs a lot of exercise and Linda S walked her farther than any other dog walker we have had. They almost always walked more than 4 miles and one time she walked her 5.2 miles. We are very grateful and we will book her again whenever we need a Dog Walker in the future.”
“Michelle was great with Ranger! Prompt with her arrival, and spent the full time with him. He was able to get some energy out and not be alone all day which is exactly what he needed! We will continue booking with Michelle 😁”

About: I have grown up surrounded by various animals and I love taking care of them. I want to make fur babies as happy as possible! I am currently working part time at a law firm while I go to law school and am looking for a way to hang with more furry friends! I have one small dog at home who is very friendly and playful. She would love to run around with your fur baby all day.

About: My whole life I have had dogs. When I was little a yellow lab, and now a very large charcoal lab, his name is Finn in my profile picture, he’s my best bud. Also added another furry friend to our mix, a red golden retriever, her name is Sadie. I also have four cats, one big orange tabby, a calico, and two black cats. My heart is full of love for animals and I would treat yours like my own. I dog sit for my grandparents as well, and friends as needed. I had the honor of helping train my grandmas dog and Finn as well. Simple things like learning to sit and stay but still important! I am currently home for the summer from college. I attend Ferris State and will return in the fall. So, I am just looking for a part time gig for the summer! Besides one vacation in June I am completely free for all potty breaks, walks, etc during the week. I have two dogs at home if a stay at my home is needed, I have leads available for use as well. We also have a fairly large crate used for our golden when she was a puppy, so your pet can be crated if necessary! My pups are very friendly and would love the extra company! I also have no problem staying at a clients home if that makes things easier! I have reliable transportation and have an SUV to take the pups to the park or anything like that! I often take my dogs with me to the store when I can and sometimes stop for a pup cup.
About: I have experience with all types of temperaments and breeds in all phases of life. I have experience administering medications, grooming, nail trimming, and training. REACTIVE DOGS - I helped train and raise my parents dog, a reactive rescue named Thunder. Through a gentle and persistent approach, I trained him to recall on demand, tamed biting tendencies, and blttust humans again. In his older years I have learned how to encourage eating following a medical event that left him with no appetite. - I also have experience pet sitting a high energy herding dog who needed minimum of a 2 hours of exercise per day an struggled with resource guarding. With patience, I helped train him to share toys and use his inside voice when he demands something! - When living in Cincinnati with my Shiba, we would spend 10+ hours per week at the local dog park. Here I learned de-escalation with aggressive and unpredictable dogs. SERVICE ANIMALS - In college I helped a friend train a Labrador from 8 weeks old to be a Leader Dog for the Blind. I learned how to crate train, potty train, stop at crosswalks, and train a dogs to be in public spaces through the use positive reinforcement and slow immersion of new situations. - My first (and current) dog is a Shiba Inu, a breed notorious for their stubbornness. I trained him like a service animal (although he is not registered) and he regularly goes to public spaces like crowded festivals, dog friendly music venues, and dog friendly businesses and if often complimented for his calm behavior and ability to sit patiently. I am a full time pet sitter who can do visits morning to evening Monday to Sunday. I travel often and only decline clients when I have a trip planned. I will tailor frequency and duration to your pets needs. I am able to provide all of the following: walks, play time, grooming, nail trims, administering medications, special requests, some training.

“Caroline took amazing care of our older dog Lola. Compassionate and caring, Caroline spent extra time and attention, assuring that Lola was fed, had exercise and rest. Caroline’s care for our beloved pet exceeded our expectations. We will use her pooch paradise again.”

“I left my dog Koda with Andrew for a week and had zero worries. I was able to enjoy my vacation and not stress about my pet. He sent lots of pictures and Koda definitely was enjoying himself in the backyard and on walks. He was definitely a happy boy!!!”

“Mariana and Denys were wonderful with our high-energy pooch! They were quick to respond and we could tell she was well cared for. We would definitely recommend and hope to use their services again!”

“Our dog has stayed with Ariana three times, and we are so grateful to have found her! Our dog loved her instantly, and has been very excited to go back each time. We would give her 6 stars if we could! She is very communicative, caring, and flexible. And with so many sitters on this site overloading themselves with pets to care for, it's great to know that with her one-dog policy, our pet will be a priority when he stays with her. Would highly recommend Ariana!”

“Beth was extremely responsive, flexible, and took great care of my pup. We had just moved to the area so we couldn’t do a meet and greet ahead of time but Beth called me before hand to make sure we were on the same page. Then when my flight was canceled she very graciously kept Miura longer. Miura had a great time and we will definitely book again!”

“Marija is my favorite dog sitter! She really cares about my dogs and she sends lots of photos and updates. I know that my dogs are in good hands with her and her family.”

“Melissa was a great sitter for our dog Dusty. She sent pictures and kept us updated. She was flexible when we ended up being later than expected for pick-up. I'm sure Dusty had a great time and we felt comfortable leaving her in good hands. I would definitely call on her services again if and when the time comes.”

“I couldn’t be more pleased about the care my dog received staying at Oscar’s home. It gave me great peace of mind getting the photos and videos every day I was away, and I brought home such a calm & happy girl who had the time of her life playing with other dogs in the big backyard. Highly recommend and will definitely rebook!”

“Katie was truly wonderful with my dog! She asked me lots of questions on how to best care for her and make her comfortable, was super communicative, and sent me lots of sweet pictures. I felt confident that my dog was not only safe but was with someone who wanted to make sure she was happy and comfortable. I’ll definitely reach out to Katie next time I need a sitter!”
