About: I've been caring for pets my whole life, and have been a trusted sitter for family and friends for many years. I've also been a volunteer for the Humane Society since 2019, helping socialize and train some of the most challenging shelter dogs and cats. I have experience with large and xl dogs, senior animals, and puppies and kittens 8 weeks and older. I grew up in a family that adopted all sorts of pets, from dogs and cats to guinea pigs, horses, parakeets, and one very majestic iguana. While I don't currently have any pets since my last elderly fur baby crossed the Rainbow Bridge, I look forward to adopting again in the future from a rescue organization. I'm a freelance grant writer, which means lots of flexibility to meet your scheduling needs. I can do drop-in visits and overnights at your home, and will happily send you as many photos as you like. About: Hi! I've been a dog owner since I was 7 years old. Since then, my love for animals has only grown stronger. Currently, I have a 3 year old Corgi named Jasper. I've learned a lot about dogs since adopting him and I'm always looking for new ways to keep him entertained. For example, making DIY puzzle games during mealtime, teaching him tricks (both useful and for fun), and taking him to new places. Jasper also tends to be anxious, so I have experience with putting in a great deal of work to make dogs comfortable. I also have experience looking after family members' dogs while they're away, including senior dogs. I’m currently fully available, but I’m in the process of starting a new job in mid-August. About: I have spent my whole life growing up with pets and love spending time with dogs and cats alike. I live an active lifestyle and love taking long walks, especially with a canine companion! I have experience walking dogs from animals shelters so so have worked with dogs with a variety of temperaments. I am working part time for the summer so I have time available throughout the week to go on walks or stop by and say hi to pets. I will not be able to care for pets in my home because I live in a small apartment and do not have sufficient space.
About: From the time I was born to when I left for college, I had no less than 2 dogs in my home at all times. I loved taking them for walks, playing with them, and snuggling with them. Since leaving for college, I have pet sit for professors and friends, and would love to meet more furry friends :). I'm a PhD student at University of Michigan in computational medicine, so I can work from home and my schedule is very flexible! I'm happy to dog walk and dog/cat sit anytime during the week and weekends, and can also do extended stays! I respect the boundaries of dogs and cats, and am very empathetic towards animals. I understand that pets can have anxiety when their owners leave, and I'm happy to do anything to relieve some of that anxiety. I am also happy to take the dogs on walks whenever they want, and love playing with hyper pups to tire them out.
