About: Dogs have been part of my life since I was born. I have lived with dogs of all sizes, big and small, and I understand how each one has its own personality and needs. Today I have two dachshunds back in Brazil, who are basically my kids. Unfortunately I was not able to bring them with me to the United States since it was too expensive and I am only staying here for one year, but they are being very well taken care of by my mom. One of the most meaningful caregiving experiences I had was with an elderly dog who could no longer walk on her own. I carried her during walks, gave her medication on schedule, and slept next to her every night. That taught me real patience and dedication when it comes to caring for a dog with extra needs. I do not have professional pet sitting experience yet, but I have a lifetime of real, hands on experience living with dogs, plenty of love to give, and a genuine commitment to caring for your pet the same way I care for my own. I work from home and have a fully flexible schedule, since my job only requires my computer and I can work from anywhere. The only fixed commitment I have is one gym session a day. This means I have plenty of availability throughout the day and evening for drop-in visits and overnight stays at my clients' homes. I focus on drop-in visits and overnight stays at the client's home, where I can give the dog full attention in their own environment.
