“This is the second time Jennifer took care of my kitty for an extended period of time. She is still amazing. She plays and cuddles with him, and makes sure he is brushed and shiny, on top of the usual things like feeding him and cleaning out the litterbox. She sends lots of photos, helping me feel closer to my cat. My cat even lets humans rub his belly after spending time with Jennifer - she has the magic touch! Jennifer is wonderful with pets, responsible and trustworthy.”

“Marla was great! This was my first time using rover and I’m glad Marla was our first experience. Marla got my cats to interact with her on the first visit! I was able to have peace of mind while away, and I’m super grateful for her. Thanks so much!!”

“This was the second time that we had Kelly care for our two kittens and three chickens and she, again, took excellent care of them☺️! They were all excited to see her🐱🐱🐓🐓🐓💕”

“My experience with Jessi was perfect! My shy cats actually came out from under the bed for her. She left super informative feedback and accommodated all my requests! She was super sweet and kind. I will definitely rebook with her soon!”

About: I’ve taken care of all of my pets since a very young age. I love every animal I see as if they are my own! Animals bring me so much joy and I wish for them to have the same happiness. I try to pay attention to body language to know what they are telling me especially when we do not know each other yet. I’ve worked as a dog nutritionist at a place called Must Love Dogs (which I certainly do!) I always want to learn more, do more, and constantly be better for the animals in the world even if I’m only able to impact a few. I have experience with dogs who need a lot of support physically (wheelchairs, lift up harnesses, bathroom assistance) as my own German Shepherd needed all of these things later in life. I may have lost count of how many times I was peed on or had to clean the floors, but I wouldn’t change any of it for the world. I hope to honor him everyday and share my love with other fur babies as much as I can. My love for animals is endless. My goal is to be able to fill my days with all sorts of animals I can love on and bring joy to. I am available any day or time for drop in visits, playtime, feedings, and walks! I currently have a dog and a cat. I take my dog for walks and try to provide plenty of play time, snuggles, and other forms of enrichment for him every day. My kitty is still young and loves playtime, being brushed, and always wants snuggles in the morning which I am always happy to provide! My pets are my babies and every animal I see automatically becomes a baby. I had a special needs German shepherd who was in a wheelchair and needed a ton of special care and attention. I’m not afraid to do the dirty work that pets need to thrive and be happy whether that’s my own pets or my clients. I’d treat them as my own.
“Silvia continues to be amazing! She is conscientious, communicative, and thoughtful in addition to being a great caregiver! We left for a weekend and I was incredibly comfortable knowing our guy was well cared for! We will continue to rebook!”

About: I would love to give my love and time to your fur babies while your away! I have been pet and house sitting for over 26 years. I used to work at a pet store and I have a lot of experience with dogs and animals of all sizes and needs. I use a loving but firm and peaceful approach with training. My German Shepherd named Ravin was my amazing companion for 13 years and I enjoyed going on adventures to find sticks, playing ball, tug of war and just snuggling and getting love. I'd love to do the same for your fur baby. I am currently working remotely part time so I have lots of time to spend with your pets. I am an early bird so I always have time for play, care and love in the mornings. I usually have a couple appointments or errands to run during the day so I am typically in and out. I try not to be gone more than 4 hours during the day, once in a while it may take me a little longer. I like to be home for the day (in your home) around dinner time. That gives us lots of time for play and snuggles. A typical day for a Rover stay with me may look like this: Waking up and taking care of morning care needs, bathroom/breakfast. Getting lots of snuggles and playing while I drink my coffee and check my emails. If your pet likes to play outside, spending a half hour to an hour outside with whatever activities they enjoy. At that point I may be in and out of the house for a few hours running errands or going to appointments. I'll pop back in when I can for potty breaks, treats and love. I plan on being back to your home before dinner time. Then we will do dinner together, play and hang out. There will be unlimited opportunities for snuggling and love and play in the evening. If you've asked that I do overnight stays, I will do my best to keep your normal routine the same for your pets while you're gone. If your pet usually sleeps on the bed with you, that's okay with me too. If they sleep in their crate with a favorite toy and listen to an audible book at night, we will do that too! :) I want your pet to feel as comfortable and loved while your gone as possible.
“Molly is truly the sweetest cat sitter anyone could ask for! My husband and i were out of town for months, and knowing my cats were in her care gave me complete peace of mind. She made the entire experience completely stress-free. She treated my cats as if they were her own, giving them so much love, attention, and care. Every single day, she kept us updated with messages, photos, and videos, letting us know how they were doing and if anything came up. Her communication was amazing, and it meant so much to us to stay connected with our babies while we were away. Molly is reliable, kind, patient, and genuinely cares about the animals she looks after. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. If you’re looking for someone you can fully trust with your pets, I wholeheartedly recommend Molly. She is simply the best, and I will absolutely book her again! We love you molly❤️”

“Greyson did a wonderful job watching my boy. I wasn't sure how open Ozzy would be to interacting with a new person but he really opened up to them. I loved reading the after visit notes, I would share them with the people I was with. Greyson was also really flexible when I had a family situation come up and had to move my trip earlier. I will definitely be booking them again the next time I need someone to watch Ozzy.”

“As a fairly new cat mom, I had my hesitations about leaving her alone for the weekend for the first time. Christine made sure that all went well in my absence. She did exactly what she was told to do and made sure my fur baby took her med. She even gave me tips on how to do it right since she’s a former vet tech and is knowledgeable. It was also great that she provided me the chance to meet with her beforehand. We talked a lot and built a good rapport. I’ll be using Christine again. Thank you!”

“My dog is a bit of a challenge. He is really timid, and it takes him time to get used to people. Rani won him over quickly and took good care of him. Her communication was great, and she gave a lot of details about each of her visits. I would highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs.”

“Jennifer is very sweet, considerate, respectful, and communicative. She took wonderful care of my cats while I was out of town. She did everything I asked and sent helpful notes and adorable pictures! I will absolutely hire her again and highly recommend you do too!”
“Allison is a great pet sitter. She is prompt with her communication and sends photos from each visit. I feel confident that my dog is in good hands when Allison is completing drop in visits. I would definitely recommend her!”

“Natasha is FABULOUS!! She took excellent care of my geriatric kitty that required special medications and gave her so much love while I was away. Will 1000% rebook her in the future!!”

“Once again, Jenna watched over our cat Archer and our home! Her Rover cards are the best!!! You know you've found the best guardian when you dont give a second thought to whether all is well! Complete peace of mind! Thank you again, Jenna!”

Greyson already knew my one cat Ozzy and he was automatically comfortable knowing they were back. My other cat Sweetie hadn't met them before so Greyson was kind enough to come over for a meet and greet before the stay. She mostly hid, only coming out for one far away glance. Despite Sweeties initial trepidation it was so sweet to watch the progress through Greysons notes and pictures of Sweetie getting comfortable with them to the point of being willing to bug them for breakfast.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Willis. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
