“We have used Greyson’s drop-in visits and overnight stays for both our two cats and two dogs. Greyson always provides a detailed report and will ensure she meets your expectations.”

“Kelly has been amazing with my animals! Very dependable, caring, and great communication. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats, each with very different personalities and she's always able to get them to come out for her check ins. Would definitely recommend her!”
“Jennifer was on top of notating the visits and taking a ton of pictures every time! Excellent communication, and such a nice presence that even the notoriously shy cat had no problems approaching. Would definitely consider rebooking next time.”

“Miranda was absolutely wonderful with our pups!! The dogs immediately took to her and loved the time they got to spend together. She was very responsive with us and sent updates with every visit. I highly recommend her!”
“Molly was absolutely amazing!! Highly recommend. She took such good care of our older Alaskan Malamute, Luna. She went above and beyond to make sure Luna was exceptionally cared for. We received detailed daily reports and pics and that was so appreciated. I could tell by Molly's comments that she was really in tune with Luna's personality and needs. She was very responsive and really easy to communicate with. We are already looking to book with her again in October. Thank you Molly!”

“My experience with Jessi was perfect! My shy cats actually came out from under the bed for her. She left super informative feedback and accommodated all my requests! She was super sweet and kind. I will definitely rebook with her soon!”

“Marla was great! This was my first time using rover and I’m glad Marla was our first experience. Marla got my cats to interact with her on the first visit! I was able to have peace of mind while away, and I’m super grateful for her. Thanks so much!!”

“My dog is a bit of a challenge. He is really timid, and it takes him time to get used to people. Rani won him over quickly and took good care of him. Her communication was great, and she gave a lot of details about each of her visits. I would highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs.”

“Silvia continues to be amazing! She is conscientious, communicative, and thoughtful in addition to being a great caregiver! We left for a weekend and I was incredibly comfortable knowing our guy was well cared for! We will continue to rebook!”

“Katja is amazing! We are new to the area and I was hesitate to book a stranger. We have never had a stranger stay with our dogs but this was the first trip in over 7 years where I haven’t worried about our dogs!! We have a German Shepard and he can be intimidating especially walking on a leash around other dogs. Yet, from the meet and greet Katja was at ease with our dogs and was so good with them. We were so lucky to meet her and book her. She even gave us some pointers and played with the dogs. She left a detailed note and photos after every visit. She loved on our pups like they were her own. We could not have had a better experience with Katja! If she is available she is your person!! We can’t recommend her enough and we will for sure be using her again!!”

“Highly recommend Natasha as a pet sitter! She was very professional and followed instructions, and I could tell she took excellent care of my cat Kayla during the six days that I was away. When I came back, Kayla’s food and water bowls were full, her litter box was spotless, and Natasha had even taken out the trash with the old litter. In the photos, Kayla looked happy getting Natasha’s attention, which is an accomplishment as my cat hates meeting new people.”

“Laura B. was a fantastic sitter and sent me plenty of updates along the way. As a Rover newbie, it gave me sooooooo much peace of mind. I would happily recommend her to check in on your canine companions!”
“Vinny is a fabulous pet sitter. From the initial meet and greet through the last of our scheduled visits, it has been obvious that he loves animals and is focused on doing his best to keep them healthy, comfortable, and safe. During one 10 pm visit, Vinny heard a pack of coyotes howling near our rural yard. He texted to inform me of their presence and took extra steps that night to keep my dogs safe. He arrives and leaves on time and responds in a timely way to messages. He is respectful of my home and property. I am more than pleased with Vinny’s work, and would definitely choose him for any future pet sitting needs!”

“Tristin was great with my 2 kitties. One of my kitties gets very anxious when I am away and sometimes makes messes outside the litter box. Tristin went above and beyond doing some cleaning when this happened. My cat even came out of hiding a few times when he was there. And that is saying a lot. I can not recommend Tristin enough.”

“Allison is a great pet sitter. She is prompt with her communication and sends photos from each visit. I feel confident that my dog is in good hands when Allison is completing drop in visits. I would definitely recommend her!”

About: I am recently widowed and life feels pretty lonely. I currently cannot afford to have a dog of my own but I adore them and all animals and I would love to give my time to your fur babies while your away. I have been pet and house sitting for over 22 years. I used to work at a pet store and I have a lot of experience with dogs and animals of all sizes and needs. I use a loving but firm and peaceful approach with training. My German Shepherd named Ravin was my amazing companion for 13 years and I enjoyed going on adventures to find sticks, playing ball, tug of war and just snuggling and getting love. I'd love to do the same for your fur baby.
“Maria was absolutely fantastic! She took care of our two kitties (one diabetic and needing insulin twice a day and the other chronically terrified of strangers). She was in touch regarding clarification on the medicine - which was very much appreciated - and gave us updates throughout her visits including that our little scared cat actually accepted pets from her on the last day (we were shocked and thrilled!). We look forward to using Maria's services again in the future.”

About: I have had a many animals, mostly dogs including one with epilepsy. I will do my very best to aid them in anyway possible ! I usually am home if I am not in class or practice. I have an apartment right outside of school. So i am alway close to home and can get there very easily/quick! I am a collegiate gymnast, so I practice 5 days out of the week. Im normally gone in practice for about 3-4 hours at most. Class or gym is usually the only time I leave home. I can and will do whatever you ask of me to keep your animal comfortable and safe in my or your home. I have had many animals in the past such as dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, and even a turtle! Ive grown up around animals my whole life and have knowledge of a lot of things when it comes to protecting and keeping them safe! I have had to care for them in many ways whether that is a puppy still in potty training, a dog with epilepsy, and even older dogs that need a little extra help on the daily.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Willis
Greyson did a wonderful job watching my boy. I wasn't sure how open Ozzy would be to interacting with a new person but he really opened up to them. I loved reading the after visit notes, I would share them with the people I was with. Greyson was also really flexible when I had a family situation come up and had to move my trip earlier. I will definitely be booking them again the next time I need someone to watch Ozzy.

Greyson already knew my one cat Ozzy and he was automatically comfortable knowing they were back. My other cat Sweetie hadn't met them before so Greyson was kind enough to come over for a meet and greet before the stay. She mostly hid, only coming out for one far away glance. Despite Sweeties initial trepidation it was so sweet to watch the progress through Greysons notes and pictures of Sweetie getting comfortable with them to the point of being willing to bug them for breakfast.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Willis. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
