About: I've grown up with dogs since I was a child, and have helped care for all of my family's dogs, including walking, feeding, and dog sitting for them. My parents currently have a rescue dog, who is more skittish and requires additional consideration when I've cared for her. I've also dog sat for neighbors while in high school and college, as well as dog and cat sat for co-workers through the years. I currently work in education, so I have the summers off, and have lots of time for pet care. I also currently have two cats, one is a rescue and took a lot more time to feel comfortable in our home, and the other I've raised from the time he was a kitten. I will give your dogs the same care and concern I've given my own pets. I currently work in education and have summers off, so I have lots of availability, including morning, afternoon, and evening, for pet care. I live locally and can easily get to most neighborhoods nearby. I can come to your home, walk your dog, do a play drop in, and sit with your dog and/or cat indoors or outdoors, depending on what they like!

About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs in my home and I just love animals! I used to volunteer at the humane society, and I was trained to work with cats and dogs, I have over 100 hours of volunteering at the Huron Valley Humane Society. I am new to Rover, but I’ve pet sat outside of this app before! I am currently working part-time, my schedule changes from day to day but for the most part I am available 7 days a week and can check in up to 3 times a day with your animal! I will prioritize each pets safety, comfort and routine every visit. I will also ensure that I follow all instructions required by owners and am also happy to communicate updates/photos so they feel confident in their pets wellbeing. Overall, I want the animal and the owner to feel as comfortable as possible when working with me!

“Katja is amazing! We are new to the area and I was hesitate to book a stranger. We have never had a stranger stay with our dogs but this was the first trip in over 7 years where I haven’t worried about our dogs!! We have a German Shepard and he can be intimidating especially walking on a leash around other dogs. Yet, from the meet and greet Katja was at ease with our dogs and was so good with them. We were so lucky to meet her and book her. She even gave us some pointers and played with the dogs. She left a detailed note and photos after every visit. She loved on our pups like they were her own. We could not have had a better experience with Katja! If she is available she is your person!!
