“Kaylee is great, my anxious little dog warmed up pretty quick and was always happy to see her, as was kitty. She communicates well also. Thanks for taking care of her Kaylee! I will 100% book with you again.”

“Maria was absolutely fantastic! She took care of our two kitties (one diabetic and needing insulin twice a day and the other chronically terrified of strangers). She was in touch regarding clarification on the medicine - which was very much appreciated - and gave us updates throughout her visits including that our little scared cat actually accepted pets from her on the last day (we were shocked and thrilled!). We look forward to using Maria's services again in the future.”

About: I am recently widowed and life feels pretty lonely. I currently cannot afford to have a dog of my own but I adore them and all animals and I would love to give my time to your fur babies while your away. I have been pet and house sitting for over 22 years. I used to work at a pet store and I have a lot of experience with dogs and animals of all sizes and needs. I use a loving but firm and peaceful approach with training. My German Shepherd named Ravin was my amazing companion for 13 years and I enjoyed going on adventures to find sticks, playing ball, tug of war and just snuggling and getting love. I'd love to do the same for your fur baby.
“Ashley was great. She came by a few times while I was on an extended vacation. When I got home everything was as though I had never left. My cat was still had food, water, and the litter was clean. Ashley, was very easy to work with and book. She sent photos and updates with each visit. I look forward to working with Ashley again and I can recommend her to anyone needing a sitter.”

“Marla was great! This was my first time using rover and I’m glad Marla was our first experience. Marla got my cats to interact with her on the first visit! I was able to have peace of mind while away, and I’m super grateful for her. Thanks so much!!”

“Vinny is a fabulous pet sitter. From the initial meet and greet through the last of our scheduled visits, it has been obvious that he loves animals and is focused on doing his best to keep them healthy, comfortable, and safe. During one 10 pm visit, Vinny heard a pack of coyotes howling near our rural yard. He texted to inform me of their presence and took extra steps that night to keep my dogs safe. He arrives and leaves on time and responds in a timely way to messages. He is respectful of my home and property. I am more than pleased with Vinny’s work, and would definitely choose him for any future pet sitting needs!”

“We have used Greyson’s drop-in visits and overnight stays for both our two cats and two dogs. Greyson always provides a detailed report and will ensure she meets your expectations.”

About: I have had a pet in every single place I’ve lived since I was born, and once I was able to help I started taking care of my family’s dogs. I have also volunteered at an animal shelter where I fed, worked on socializing the fur babies, walked, and cuddled all of the pets just waiting to be adopted. And, my boyfriend recently adopted a dog who we have been adapting to taking care of 24/7. Here name is Hinata, and she was a stray but it’s been awesome to learn more about how to get dogs comfortable in a new place with her! I am currently a full time college student about to graduate in December! I DoorDash to make money since it’s so flexible with my school schedule but when I found Rover I realized I could also take care of some pets as I have lots of free time throughout the day, just not enough for a full time job yet :) I take care of my roommates pets by helping feed and clean up after them, and of course playing with them daily (they are two cats). But when it comes to your pets, I would be able to come to your residence and let the animals out, feed them, any medications they need, etc. I work at a middle school which leaves me open fully during the summer and anytime after 3:30 during the school year! This leaves me plenty of time to help you out with your pets! How I care for your pets with be based on any instructions you give me as well as my own knowledge of pet care. This includes everything from washing/refilling bowls, administering medications, feeding, playing for enrichment, etc.
About: I've taken care of my own dogs for over 20 years and have experience with a variety of breeds. I keep communication open while providing the best at home care to make your fur babies comfortable. They'll get lots of attention, love and snuggles while you'll get consistent updates about their stay. I work from home full time so they'll have a constant companion and attention. Constant potty breaks and snuggle sessions are guaranteed. They also have a yard they can run in. I have one friendly male dog who loves to make friends. Our yard is not fenced but large enough to run and we have multiple safety leads for a doggy to run and play

About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs in my home and I just love animals! I used to volunteer at the humane society, and I was trained to work with cats and dogs, I have over 100 hours of volunteering at the Huron Valley Humane Society. I am new to Rover, but I’ve pet sat outside of this app before! I am currently working part-time, my schedule changes from day to day but for the most part I am available 7 days a week and can check in up to 3 times a day with your animal! I will prioritize each pets safety, comfort and routine every visit. I will also ensure that I follow all instructions required by owners and am also happy to communicate updates/photos so they feel confident in their pets wellbeing. Overall, I want the animal and the owner to feel as comfortable as possible when working with me!
“Janie is absolutely amazing! She has been coming over 2-3 times a week for the past few months to let our puppy and older dog out for a potty and play break and she is wonderful. She is great with our dogs and when we see her out and about our dogs go crazy to see her. Her schedule has been so flexible with me getting a new job and needing her to come at different times of the day and she provides us updates on how our dogs are doing every time she comes over. We LOVE Janie!”

“Alise was a the perfect person to watch over our little Leroy. We felt at ease knowing she was giving him the care and attention that he needed while we were gone. The photo updates and the ease of communication were very much appreciated. We are so grateful!”

“Jamie did great with the initial drop in with my dogs! One of them can be people selective and reactive, but she warmed up to Jamie really quickly. Jamie sent multiple videos and photos and was very quick to communicate. Excited to have her do kore drop ins in the future!”

About: I've grown up with dogs since I was a child, and have helped care for all of my family's dogs, including walking, feeding, and dog sitting for them. My parents currently have a rescue dog, who is more skittish and requires additional consideration when I've cared for her. I've also dog sat for neighbors while in high school and college, as well as dog and cat sat for co-workers through the years. I currently work in education, so I have the summers off, and have lots of time for pet care. I also currently have two cats, one is a rescue and took a lot more time to feel comfortable in our home, and the other I've raised from the time he was a kitten. I will give your dogs the same care and concern I've given my own pets. I currently work in education and have summers off, so I have lots of availability, including morning, afternoon, and evening, for pet care. I live locally and can easily get to most neighborhoods nearby. I can come to your home, walk your dog, do a play drop in, and sit with your dog and/or cat indoors or outdoors, depending on what they like!
“We highly recommend Christine and Brad as your go to pet sitters! They are reliable, thoughtful, caring, and excellent communicators. We feel at ease when we are away knowing they will take great care of our cat!”

About: I have experience with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and birds. I love all animals, young and old. I’m looking forward to taking care of your fur baby!! I work 2 part time/student assistant jobs so I have plenty of time to care for your fur babies! I am always willing to schedule and plan ahead as well. I have one cat at home, but that’s it. I am not afraid to work with dogs that are excited or jumpy and I can take them in and out of their crates!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 1,119 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across London. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in London. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
