About: I started pet sitting for friends in 2021 while covid precautions were still in place, and since then I've helped many friends whenever they were heading out of town for a while. I've always had a knack for getting along with cats, dogs, and other animals, even those who are shy or aggressive at first. Your pet's needs are my priority. I will review all of your provided instructions with you so that I may ask questions and make sure we're on the same page. And, if anything ever seems wrong, I'll make sure you know immediately so that you can make informed decisions regarding your pet's care. About: I’ve taken care of all of my pets since a very young age. I love every animal I see as if they are my own! Animals bring me so much joy and I wish for them to have the same happiness. I try to pay attention to body language to know what they are telling me especially when we do not know each other yet. I’ve worked as a dog nutritionist at a place called Must Love Dogs (which I certainly do!) I always want to learn more, do more, and constantly be better for the animals in the world even if I’m only able to impact a few. I have experience with dogs who need a lot of support physically (wheelchairs, lift up harnesses, bathroom assistance) as my own German Shepherd needed all of these things later in life. I may have lost count of how many times I was peed on or had to clean the floors, but I wouldn’t change any of it for the world. I hope to honor him everyday and share my love with other fur babies as much as I can. My love for animals is endless. My goal is to be able to fill my days with all sorts of animals I can love on and bring joy to. I am available any day or time for drop in visits, playtime, feedings, and walks! I currently have a dog and a cat. I take my dog for walks and try to provide plenty of play time, snuggles, and other forms of enrichment for him every day. My kitty is still young and loves playtime, being brushed, and always wants snuggles in the morning which I am always happy to provide! My pets are my babies and every animal I see automatically becomes a baby. I had a special needs German shepherd who was in a wheelchair and needed a ton of special care and attention. I’m not afraid to do the dirty work that pets need to thrive and be happy whether that’s my own pets or my clients. I’d treat them as my own.

About: Hello, my name is Elijah and I have over 10 years of experience caring for both cats and dogs. For 5 of them, I've been a vet tech and the other 5 have been various dogsitting jobs. I currently work at a vet clinic in northbrook. I also have experience with exotics (pocket pets, reptiles, and birds). I personally have a dog, cat, leopard gecko and a ball python!
