“Working with Shant'a was a tremendously positive experience. This was our first time leaving our pup Leo with a babysitter, and she helped patiently guide us through the process, worked with us coming from our of state, and created such a welcoming environment that Leo eagerly zipped right into her home without a second glance at us. (OK, that part was a little disheartening, but clearly he was happy about it.) Six hours later we came by to collect him, expecting the eager welcome we get when coming home from work, but he seemed more like a kid being told "playtime is over, time to go home". Clearly he was in no rush to leave. Shant'a sent us some nice pics during his stay, and held to the routines we requested. No complaints! She's a delight and we hope to work with her again.”

About: Hi there! We accept small to medium-sized dogs (20 pounds max or less) and typically care for no more than 4 dogs at a time. Under our careful supervision, your pup can interact and play freely, enjoying both the house and our spacious, clean, secure and fenced-in backyard. They are not confined to kennels or cages, and can sleep wherever they feel comfortable, whether in the open or in their own crate. We have many nooks and crannies for the pups to relax in and many soft, clean blankets and pillows. They will have ample time outdoors for fresh air, exercise and fun (weather permitting), and the rest of course spent indoors, having fun, resting, playing games (we have many many puzzles and snuffle mats) and occasionally having a yummy, owner approved treat (we don't want upset tummies). About: I have routinely watched my coworkers dogs while they are out of town, I have 3 dogs of my own and if I could I would take in every dog that needed a home, love and a warm spot to sleep. While I understand dogs are a product of their environment, I respectfully ask not to board Pit Bull terrier mix or Rottweiler breeds. Thank you. My pets have been treated with flea and tick prevention medication. I work Monday thru Wednesday and usually am home by 2. My boyfriend will stop by at lunch and let my 3 dogs out to potty. On my days off I am usually home. I have a fenced yard and 3 dogs of my home who are friendly and welcoming to new dogs. They are not crated but I can crate yours if you wish.

About: Located in MONROE Hi, I grew up in a home that did dog boarding, I've literally been around this my whole life. I Foster rescue dogs. I can potty train, teach tricks, work on leash skills and door manners. I have toys treats and a big yard. My house is near the lake and we take them for walks multiple times a day. My neighbors are dog trainers or fellow pet lovers. If you need a safe place to keep your pup during work or over vacation we might be the right fit for you. I have an adopted Pitbull who is literally the friendliest dog in the entire world and great with other dogs. If your dog needs to be the only dog around our home might not be ideal. Just being honest. I want us both to have the best experience possible. Meet and greets are amazing to make sure we are on the same page and to make sure all parties involved get along as well. We only offer dog walks and drop ins locally as it's to costly to do that outside of the immediate area. If outside of the Monroe are please advise. My husband and I are both not working. We have all the free time to spend with your pet that you could want. We could do holidays weekends overnights. If there is something you'd like me to work on with your pup let me know! I have a large fenced in back yard in a dog friendly beach community. We take our dog on morning and evening walks with the addition of play time in the yard or inside if it's raining. We have treats toys and space to relax. I have toys for multiple chewing needs - super chewers or tiny nibbles. I have lots of free time and just want to help where I can.

HelIo fellow pet parents, I'm Nikki. I worked at a PetsHotel where I provided care to the pets for almost 3 years (walking, feeding, and medicating). I also am a pet owner of three dogs! I am comfortable providing care to pets with special needs. My dog is deaf so we use sign language with her. I'm a regular volunteer at DACC. I foster dogs through local rescues and currently have a medical recuse dog. Lastly, I also have the supplies to bathe (and velocity dry) and clip/grind nails. Baths are only offered to dogs with a short coat (not breeds that have long or thick hair that could get matted-ex: huskies). I work longer days during the week but have weekend availability. About: I have taken care of dogs all my life practically but I have been doing it as a job since I was 16 years old. When I was 16 years old and could drive I started doing at home dog care in my hometown for people who needed dogs sitters when they went of out town. I have always grown up with a dog in the house. From the time I was 5 to age 21 my family and I had 6 male dogs and a litter of 6 puppies over that span of 16 years. I now have my own dog which is a male golden retriever. I have a lot of experience with training puppies. I have done a lot of hunting with dogs over the years so that has been some of my favorite training to do. I have cared for dogs of all ages, qualities, breeds, and sizes. I love being around dogs period! Pet care fits into my schedule very well! I work from home and travel so when I am working from home I am able to do pet care many times throughout the day and even host pets over night when I am not out of town for work travel. I care for pets in my home and in client's homes to the highest level of care possible. I put the dog first in every matter possible and I really enjoy doing activities or attention to dogs that they really enjoy. I like to say I can think like a dog and I can read their mind which helps me understand what makes them happy and how they want to be cared for. I have two dogs of my own, I had two cats but they both recently passed three months apart, 15 and 17 years old..❤️ I am happy they lived a long good life though :) I’ve been around animals my whole life and they are my everything. My 11-year-old and 15-year-old children absolutely love animals and enjoy helping give them attention, playtime, and plenty of affection. We have a large yard where dogs can safely run and play, and we make sure they get regular walks and exercise. Have had experience with animals, including a senior dog all my life. Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine. I work from home and have a flexible schedule (adjust as needed), which allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I do not have a fence but will go out with your dog and take it for a walk. My kids look for dogs to pet and play with everywhere.
