About: I am recently widowed and life feels pretty lonely. I currently cannot afford to have a dog of my own but I adore them and all animals and I would love to give my time to your fur babies while your away. I have been pet and house sitting for over 22 years. I used to work at a pet store and I have a lot of experience with dogs and animals of all sizes and needs. I use a loving but firm and peaceful approach with training. My German Shepherd named Ravin was my amazing companion for 13 years and I enjoyed going on adventures to find sticks, playing ball, tug of war and just snuggling and getting love. I'd love to do the same for your fur baby.

About: I have routinely watched my coworkers dogs while they are out of town, I have 3 dogs of my own and if I could I would take in every dog that needed a home, love and a warm spot to sleep. While I understand dogs are a product of their environment, I respectfully ask not to board Pit Bull terrier mix or Rottweiler breeds. Thank you. My pets have been treated with flea and tick prevention medication. I work Monday thru Wednesday and usually am home by 2. My boyfriend will stop by at lunch and let my 3 dogs out to potty. On my days off I am usually home. I have a fenced yard and 3 dogs of my home who are friendly and welcoming to new dogs. They are not crated but I can crate yours if you wish.

About: I started pet sitting for friends in 2021 while covid precautions were still in place, and since then I've helped many friends whenever they were heading out of town for a while. About: I have been around dogs and pets since I was very young. We had a family dog I helped take care of and all three of my siblings have had either a dog or cat that I would pet sit. My roommate also currently owns a puppy that I help out with as well. I am currently a full time student at GVSU and I have a part time job but it is very flexible. I can always make scheduling work as long as we communicate! I do not board other dogs very often unless it is dire. But trust and safely will depend on where you live and what you and your pet are comfortable with.

About: Located in MONROE Hi, I grew up in a home that did dog boarding, I've literally been around this my whole life. I Foster rescue dogs. I can potty train, teach tricks, work on leash skills and door manners. I have toys treats and a big yard. My house is near the lake and we take them for walks multiple times a day. My neighbors are dog trainers or fellow pet lovers. If you need a safe place to keep your pup during work or over vacation we might be the right fit for you. I have an adopted Pitbull who is literally the friendliest dog in the entire world and great with other dogs. If your dog needs to be the only dog around our home might not be ideal. Just being honest. I want us both to have the best experience possible. Meet and greets are amazing to make sure we are on the same page and to make sure all parties involved get along as well. We only offer dog walks and drop ins locally as it's to costly to do that outside of the immediate area. If outside of the Monroe are please advise. My husband and I are both not working. We have all the free time to spend with your pet that you could want. We could do holidays weekends overnights. If there is something you'd like me to work on with your pup let me know! I have a large fenced in back yard in a dog friendly beach community. We take our dog on morning and evening walks with the addition of play time in the yard or inside if it's raining. We have treats toys and space to relax. I have toys for multiple chewing needs - super chewers or tiny nibbles. I have lots of free time and just want to help where I can.

About: I have taken care for animals most of my life. Cats are my favorite. But I like dogs too. Currently I am a volunteer for the Monroe County Humane Society and work with cats. I took a break from in-home boarding for a few years but I'm ready to hop back into it. I've relocated and now live in the country. I have a fully fenced 6ft fence to keep the pups safe and secure. HelIo fellow pet parents, I'm Nikki. I worked at a PetsHotel where I provided care to the pets for almost 3 years (walking, feeding, and medicating). I also am a pet owner of three dogs! I am comfortable providing care to pets with special needs. My dog is deaf so we use sign language with her. I'm a regular volunteer at DACC. I foster dogs through local rescues and currently have a medical recuse dog. Lastly, I also have the supplies to bathe (and velocity dry) and clip/grind nails. Baths are only offered to dogs with a short coat (not breeds that have long or thick hair that could get matted-ex: huskies). I work longer days during the week but have weekend availability. I'm willing to make accommodations for boarding pets. Message me for additional questions you may have. I will follow any rules and routines that you have created in regards to caring for your pet. About: I have taken care of dogs all my life practically but I have been doing it as a job since I was 16 years old. When I was 16 years old and could drive I started doing at home dog care in my hometown for people who needed dogs sitters when they went of out town. I have always grown up with a dog in the house. From the time I was 5 to age 21 my family and I had 6 male dogs and a litter of 6 puppies over that span of 16 years. I now have my own dog which is a male golden retriever. I have a lot of experience with training puppies. I have done a lot of hunting with dogs over the years so that has been some of my favorite training to do. I have cared for dogs of all ages, qualities, breeds, and sizes. I love being around dogs period! Pet care fits into my schedule very well! I work from home and travel so when I am working from home I am able to do pet care many times throughout the day and even host pets over night when I am not out of town for work travel. I care for pets in my home and in client's homes to the highest level of care possible. I put the dog first in every matter possible and I really enjoy doing activities or attention to dogs that they really enjoy. I like to say I can think like a dog and I can read their mind which helps me understand what makes them happy and how they want to be cared for. I have two dogs of my own, I had two cats but they both recently passed three months apart, 15 and 17 years old..❤️ I am happy they lived a long good life though :) I’ve been around animals my whole life and they are my everything. Beyond that, I make sure pets feel safe emotionally too—offering affection, reassurance, and attention so they’re not just alone waiting for their owner to return.
