About: With years of experience working at a pet store, taking care of friends pets while they're out of town, and even my own furry kids I feel confident in my abilities to be there for your pets when you need me to. I am currently trying to work for myself via a couple different avenues. What does this mean for you? I have open availability to fit in your and your pets schedule perfectly! I am a very open communicator! If I have questions or concerns I will reach out to you. I am a firm believer in treating people how you want to be treated and that will translate with how I interact with your pets and home!
About: As a family of animal lovers, we provide a safe, caring, and fun environment for your pets. My 11-year-old and 15-year-old children absolutely love animals and enjoy helping give them attention, playtime, and plenty of affection. We have a large yard where dogs can safely run and play, and we make sure they get regular walks and exercise. Have had experience with animals, including a senior dog all my life. Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine. I work from home and have a flexible schedule (adjust as needed), which allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I do not have a fence but will go out with your dog and take it for a walk. My kids look for dogs to pet and play with everywhere. Exercise is something I am trying to do in the summer, let me watch your dog and take them for a walk.
About: Hi, my names Madison! I am 24 years old. My fiancée & I own a house in Newport & we would love to open it up for dog sitting during the days of the week that I am home! I have experience caring for cats and dogs of various ages, sizes, and personalities. I'm dependable, detail-oriented, and happy to follow any special instructions regarding medications, feeding schedules, exercise routines, or other unique needs. I know how important it is to stay connected while you're away, so I'll provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your furry friend is in good hands. I look forward to meeting you & your pets soon 💕 I’m currently working full time but will go remote in September 2-3 days a week so I am looking for something fun to do that will occupy my time while I am home :) We also have 2 cats that we love with our entire hearts 🫶🏼 My boyfriend & I have fostered through a local rescue and have had 5 foster dogs so we treat them as they are our own when they come into our home. They get lots of love, food, walks and attention before they go off to their new home ! I will do the same for your pup 💕 My boyfriend currently works full time out of the house so care will primarily be with myself during the day & evening!

About: I started pet sitting for friends in 2021 while covid precautions were still in place, and since then I've helped many friends whenever they were heading out of town for a while. I've always had a knack for getting along with cats, dogs, and other animals, even those who are shy or aggressive at first. Your pet's needs are my priority. I will review all of your provided instructions with you so that I may ask questions and make sure we're on the same page. And, if anything ever seems wrong, I'll make sure you know immediately so that you can make informed decisions regarding your pet's care. I believe every pet has a good heart - they just need the right care and attention to let that shine through! I work part time on a pretty flexible schedule, so I can always make time for your animal companions! I specialize in keeping pets comfy and cared for so that you can rest easy on vacation :) I pay close attention to and respect both behavior and body language - this keeps everyone safe, and allows me to inform you right away if something requires your attention.

About: OPEN SPOTS AVAILABLE FOR THE HOLIDAYS **Please follow my Facebook page: Paw-some Boarding Stays to view pictures from previous pet stays at my home to see what kind of fun your pet can have. I took a break from in-home boarding for a few years but I'm ready to hop back into it. I've relocated and now live in the country. I have a fully fenced 6ft fence to keep the pups safe and secure. HelIo fellow pet parents, I'm Nikki. I worked at a PetsHotel where I provided care to the pets for almost 3 years (walking, feeding, and medicating). I also am a pet owner of three dogs! I am comfortable providing care to pets with special needs. My dog is deaf so we use sign language with her. I'm a regular volunteer at DACC. I foster dogs through local rescues and currently have a medical recuse dog. Lastly, I also have the supplies to bathe (and velocity dry) and clip/grind nails. Baths are only offered to dogs with a short coat (not breeds that have long or thick hair that could get matted-ex: huskies). I work longer days during the week but have weekend availability. I'm willing to make accommodations for boarding pets. Message me for additional questions you may have. I will follow any rules and routines that you have created in regards to caring for your pet. As for my home, I have a fenced in yard.

“We consider ourselves so fortunate to have Cindy watching and walking Molly. Her communication is excellent and I know she really loves Molly and cares for her. That means the world to be able to relax knowing Molly is in the best hands!!”
About: Located in MONROE Hi, I grew up in a home that did dog boarding, I've literally been around this my whole life. I Foster rescue dogs. I can potty train, teach tricks, work on leash skills and door manners. I have toys treats and a big yard. My house is near the lake and we take them for walks multiple times a day. My neighbors are dog trainers or fellow pet lovers. If you need a safe place to keep your pup during work or over vacation we might be the right fit for you. I have an adopted Pitbull who is literally the friendliest dog in the entire world and great with other dogs. If your dog needs to be the only dog around our home might not be ideal. Just being honest. I want us both to have the best experience possible. Meet and greets are amazing to make sure we are on the same page and to make sure all parties involved get along as well. We only offer dog walks and drop ins locally as it's to costly to do that outside of the immediate area. If outside of the Monroe are please advise. My husband and I are both not working. We have all the free time to spend with your pet that you could want. We could do holidays weekends overnights. If there is something you'd like me to work on with your pup let me know! I have a large fenced in back yard in a dog friendly beach community. We take our dog on morning and evening walks with the addition of play time in the yard or inside if it's raining. We have treats toys and space to relax. I have toys for multiple chewing needs - super chewers or tiny nibbles. I have lots of free time and just want to help where I can.

About: I’ve worked with dogs as a kennel attendant at dog daycares/boarding facility for a total of 4 years. Alongside of that I have spent multiple years dog sitting, from a King Charles Caviler Spaniel to a Cane Corso. I own 3 cats, 2 tabby cats and a tuxedo, and I have a corgi named Daphne! In the past I’ve owned various rodents. Animals are something I’ve loved all my life. I’m currently not working anywhere so my availability is pretty much completely free any day of the week! I’d love to spend my days with your fur baby. Due to my dog at home being reactive with other dogs, I only offer services in my clients home and walks outside! I will play with your furry friends, feed them, let them outside, sit with them, walk them, or whatever other thing they may need!

I have experience with very large breeds and tea cup breeds! At home I have a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy, and a German Shepherd. I enjoy all animals and animals usually love me. I do not mind the weather conditions of Michigan and have never called off from any job. I am good at communicating and if there is ever any issues I would ensure you know right away. I love other people’s animals like they are my own and would not have any issues with high maintenance, or dogs with medical needs. You will not be disappointed if you choose me to look after your fur babies. I have 2 rabbits that I care for daily, they are free-range and at just like cats! I always ensure my pups at home are getting the right amount of activity weather it is just throwing the ball or going for a run. I do have a fenced in yard, with no dogs in the neighboring yards. With having the community center close, walks are a lot of fun and they love all the new smells!

About: I’m all about animals and have a genuine love for them. I would love to spend time and care for them! I have two dogs of my own, I had two cats but they both recently passed three months apart, 15 and 17 years old..❤️ I am happy they lived a long good life though :) I’ve been around animals my whole life and they are my everything. One day I hope to have my own dog/cat farm :) I will actually take the time to sit down and cuddle with pets, not just give them a bone and leave them outside etc. I’ll take the time to play with them and make sure they well taken care of along with being attentive to them! I have a consistent daily routine that allows me to give pets the time, attention, and care they deserve. I’m available before and after work, as well as weekends, and I’m flexible when needed. I don’t just stop in and leave—I make sure each visit includes quality time, attention, and interaction so pets feel cared for, not just checked on. I create a calm, clean, and safe environment where pets feel comfortable and secure. I follow all instructions provided by the owner, including feeding schedules, medications, and routines. Beyond that, I make sure pets feel safe emotionally too—offering affection, reassurance, and attention so they’re not just alone waiting for their owner to return. I always keep a close eye on pets and avoid any unsafe situations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
