About: I’ve had previous in home pet sitting experience watching a coworker’s ‘babies’. When they went on vacation I stayed with their pups for a few weeks and looked after them. I also tended to their plants and made sure to clean up around the house prior to them arriving back. The oldest dog had a specific soft food diet due to his bad teeth and the other needed frequent play, snuggle, and potty sessions because she was a smaller dog. They had a long-haired cat that I watched as well (which I found out I’m allergic to). I don’t mind taking care of cats as long as they are short-haired or hairless. I can also stop by to feed, walk, and let your dog(s) outside to potty. I’m available for dog walking and drop-ins weekly! I've done lengthier stays while pet parents have been out of town on vacation. Some previous clients also had a cat that I would take care of as well. I love to spoil animals rotten, so if I am stopping by to let out your pet(s) I will make sure they receive tons of love and treats!

About: I love animals and caring for them. I am a reliable and caring pet sitter who treats every animal like my own. I will make sure your pet feels safe loved and comfortable while you are away. Whether its walks, playtime, feeding, or just extra cuddles, your pet will get the attention it deserves. I am currently a college student with most of my classes being online so I am home most of the week and when I have class I am only gone for a few hours. I have a pet free home with a large yard. Even though I do not have I fenced in yard, I will make sure that when taking your pet outside they will either be on a leash or a rope. I will follow all your directions to ensure your pet's safety with me. First time bookings: - I do not accept bookings for 2 large sized pets. - I require a meet and greet prior to your booking. - I accept shorter bookings prior to accepting bookings that are a week or longer. For bookings that are a week or longer, I do require a complimentary trial stay prior to your booking. This ensures that your pet is comfortable in my home.

About: Since 2006, I have traveled for work extensively (100-200+/days) and owned several dogs and homes. I know how challenging it can be to find someone who loves dogs and won't cancel or flake last minute, and also not worry about the stress and care level at boarding environments for your furry family members. I am a college coach with open dates this summer to watch your home and pets. I'd love to earn extra income in order to keep chasing my dream with my 12-year-old border collie. If I'm working in the office, I'm still able to make time for home visits, walks and all the pets. I am also able to work remote at times. I look forwarding to finding some families to help as much as I can. I have raised agility dogs, puppies, seniors and added to my pack of 2-3 over the years. I have a good knowledge of feeding dogs with allergies, have done many baths and grooming, and have cared for sick pups. I treat my own dog like family, while also respecting and teaching boundaries.

About: As a family of animal lovers, we provide a safe, caring, and fun environment for your pets. My 11-year-old and 15-year-old children absolutely love animals and enjoy helping give them attention, playtime, and plenty of affection. We have a large yard where dogs can safely run and play, and we make sure they get regular walks and exercise. Have had experience with animals, including a senior dog all my life. Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine. I work from home in the summer and have a flexible schedule in the summer (adjust as needed), which allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I do not have a fence but will go out with your dog and take it for a walk. My kids look for dogs to pet and play with everywhere. Exercise is something I am trying to do in the summer, let me watch your dog and take them for a walk.

About: Hey there! I’m Hannah - animal lover, and your pet’s next best friend. I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life and truly believe life is better with fur and paws! I’ve raised puppies, cared for senior pets, and even looked after dogs who are blind or deaf — every animal is unique, and I love them all. Right now, I have two cats who keep me on my toes (and my lap), and I’ve had dogs of all sizes and personalities over the years. Whether your pet loves long walks, cozy naps, or belly rubs on repeat, I’m here to make sure they feel happy, loved, and totally spoiled while you’re away! Can’t wait to meet your fur baby! I am a recent college graduate & I own my own business so I have a very flexible schedule! I am available for most holidays also, if not they will be blocked out! Creating a safe and fun environment while pet sitting is very important to me. I love being able to provide play time for cats or dogs while I am watching them. As well as cuddle time if they’re one that likes to curl up in your lap.

While I’m new to the Rover family, family, friends, colleagues, and neighbors have trusted me with their pet family for over 10 years. I’ve cared for both cats and dogs and aquatics animals. From Turtle to Tabi cat to Great Dane! I have experienced with senior animals, puppy’s and medication administration. I’d love to chat about your pets individual needs to adapt and care for them the best way possible. When I come to run, play, walk or lounge with you pet my time with be spent loving them and making sure they’re comfortable with you’re away. Im also comfortable with taking them to dog parks. I’m a pet parent myself so my day starts and ends with my pup! I’m typically free from 9am-2:30pm before heading to work to walk, run, play or lounge with your pet. Mondays and Tuesdays I have a completely free schedule to work around for your needs. Wed-Sunday I’m free from 9am-2:30pm before heading to work to walk, run, play or lounge with your pet. I am off work between 9-10 (depends on the day) and can come back to continue care. Respecting both your home and your pets boundaries is a huge priority for me. Whatever makes your pet feel comfortable in my care comes first. I’d love to chat about what your daily routine looks like with your pet to make sure they’re best cared for

About: I've owned animals ever since I could remember. When I was a baby we had a cat named Pookie Bear. Around the time I turned 5 my parents bought me a dog I named Pumpkin. Around 7 years ago Pookie Bear unfortunatly passed away, but knowing we needed a cat we bought 4 more! Void, Cuddles, Peeper and Ci-Ci. Then in 2019 Pumpkin had to be put down, but I couldnt live without a dog, so that summer I went and bought a German Shepherd puppy that I named Gizmo. Gizmo is now 3 years old and I couldnt imagine life without him. He is truly part of the family now. I travel for work on some weekends but am mostly always free. I will make sure to always have my calendar updated to show when I wont be availible. If I am checking up on your animal I will make sure to follow all directions given and also give the animal the best care that it needs!

About: I have taken care of dogs for years now. I am very hands-on with training my pups. I am very active and reliable. I like being up early and getting the day started. I have experience with very large breeds and tea cup breeds! At home I have a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy, and a German Shepherd. I enjoy all animals and animals usually love me. I do not mind the weather conditions of Michigan and have never called off from any job. I am good at communicating and if there is ever any issues I would ensure you know right away. I love other people’s animals like they are my own and would not have any issues with high maintenance, or dogs with medical needs. You will not be disappointed if you choose me to look after your fur babies. I have 2 rabbits that I care for daily, they are free-range and at just like cats! I always ensure my pups at home are getting the right amount of activity weather it is just throwing the ball or going for a run. I do have a fenced in yard, with no dogs in the neighboring yards. With having the community center close, walks are a lot of fun and they love all the new smells!

About: Hi there! My name is Salina! (: Any dog I’ve met I have loved & treated like my own. I have taken care of dogs my whole life and growing up we always had a dog in the home. Unfortunately where I live now doesn’t allow for any pets so I get my fix through helping others take care of their pets! 🙂 I have taken care of dogs of all sizes & many different breeds! Dogs are family - really any pet you have is family & always deserve all the love & care! I am also very active & enjoy being outside, getting fresh air & exercising! I currently work a few days a week as a full time Nurse doing 12 hour shifts. However, I try my best to accommodate scheduling with your pets care & needs around my work schedule. If I can help in anyway to take care of your fur babies for you, I definitely will love to make it work! 😊 In your home, I can adapt & follow any routines your pups may have with detailed instructions. I will be sure to give them full quality interactions, making sure they have thier basic necessities & of course all the loves, belly rubs & words of praises! I would also love to know if they have any favorite snacks and/or toys!

I love animals and taking care of dogs of all breeds. Also, experience caring for horses/stable cleaning. 🐴 I was previously fostering/training a PAWS With a Cause Puppy for a year, to be a future service dog. Now I have my own puppy; a sweet & active Goldendoodle. I have over 10 years experience in Pet/House Sitting; caring for various animals from horses, dogs, cats, fish. I grew up helping taking care of our family pets and in adulthood I got my own dog, Golden Retriever named Lola. My Golden was a certified therapy dog, visited people in the nursing home. I am grateful for all the animals I've had the opportunity to take care of over the years and accepting new clients. Also, I like to get to know your dog; their routine and any health concerns they may have. I look forward to hearing from you! -Audrey I am currently working part-time, so I can give your pet lots of attention. Message me for more details, as my schedule is flexible. Thanks! A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
