About: I've had dogs all my life. We just just put our dog down after 12 years from being raised as a puppy. Our family isn't ready for a new dog yet, but we love the company! As a teacher, my summer is dedicated to being home and active! I am looking forward to a summer filled with backyard play and plenty of attention for our guest pups. Since we’ll be home the vast majority of the time, your dog will have constant companionship. While we might head out for the occasional short day trip or camp drop-off, our schedule is primarily centered around being home, making us very flexible for drop-offs, pick-ups, and mid-day belly rubs! Your pup’s safety is our top priority! We have a fully fenced-in backyard where dogs can safely run, play, and explore under constant supervision. Our home is a family environment with three kids who are taught to be gentle and respectful with animals, so we do require that any guest dogs be kid-friendly. Inside, we have stairs, so please let us know if your pup has any mobility issues or needs assistance. We are also happy to crate your dog for meals or naps if that is what they are used to at home. Since we currently have no other pets, your dog will receive 100% of our attention and love during their stay

“George was an excellent match for my high energy and sweet ‘petiole-person’ sheepadoodle. Winnie had never been boarded so I didn’t know what to expect. She seemed happy. She was well cared for. George kept my in the loop on what happening with her and sent pictures. Specifically his description of Winnie jumping in his lap and sitting in the lawn chair gave me confidence that she was welcomed to be her normal people-loving self. We were referred to George from a friend and will absolutely call him again.”

“Sydney was amazing!!! Poor Charlie got sick with 2 parasites right before his visit. He was feeling much better after a few days on medication so Sydney still was willing to take him in. She continued the rest of his treatment which consisted of multiple medications at carousing times throughout the day. She continued to provide us updates through out his stay and reassured us that he was definitely on the up and up the whole time. Her location is ideal for airport travel as she is only about 10 minutes from DTW. We will absolutely use Sydney in the future!! Thank you again!”
