“Teddy had such a great time with Tara, her family, and her pups! He made friends and had a blast with them. She sent me pictures and a video while we were away which we appreciated so much. Tara is so amazing with animals and I would totally have her watch Teddy again! Thank you so much Tara.”

“What a great experience for all! Beretta loved her stay, we went away with out worry, and Andria's family loved the interaction with our dog for a few days!! From the moment of meeting Andria's family, I could tell that this was a perfect setting and a good match to fill our needs for skipping towns for a few days. Half the battle sometimes, as a pet owner, is setting up boarding for your fur baby, and then being able to relax while your away that your dog's needs are being met! Not one time did I worry, or even consider that Beretta would have a terrible adjustment for the few days we were out of town. It was great to get the pictures daily, and the updates on how the status was on our pooch! Beretta looked like she was right at home ....only she wasn't....she was in Andria's and interacting so well with her family! If you need to be rest assured that your dog is well taking care of, having personal attention and affection giving through out the days, and being cared for with proper dietary needs and bathroom breaks, then I highly recommend Andria! Beretta, is kind of a "high" maintenance pup...(she requires a coat and shoes when going out in snowy weather....and it was snowy the whole time of her stay....) and not one squabble from Andria about accommodating getting her shoes on, or her jacket when taking her outside. Andria, thank you. Thank you for your attention to detail, the meeting up prior to the actual stay, the daily messages and updates with photos, and your gentle nature and calmness. You were the real MVP of our mini getaway, and we appreciate you taking care of Beretta immensely!”

“Cody, his family, and pup Freya took great care of Moxie. She was skittish being her first time away overnight, but they were patient with her and gave daily updates and pics. She loved playing with Freya& fetching balls. Their home and yard is safe and secure. We will definitely book Cody again when we are visiting out-of-state family near him.”

“I want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking such great care of Donatello! When we adopted him we had already had a family trip planned. We were nervous to find care for him but Anthony took it on with ease! We got so many pictures and videos we felt like we knew where he was at all times and we could see he was enjoying his puppy buddy. Would highly recommend Anthony!!!”

“Shawna was a great sitter, very communicative and very great with the updates everyday ! I had a very long trip so it was much appreciated. A kitten is a handful and she was great with my little rascal 😊😊”

“Repeat customer since 2019. Dawn is amazing! She treats my fur baby like her own and probably spoils him a little more. She’s patient, kind and dependable. We love Dawn! 🐾🫶🏾”

“Robert was absolutely amazing! Max can be a difficult dog for others to deal with. From asking questions prior to booking until we picked up Max the last day, Robert was so nice and easy to communicate with. Robert sent pictures and updates frequently while we were on vacation which gave us comfort knowing Max was being well taken care of and cared for. I’d definitely rebook with Robert again!!”

“Elizabeth was great communicating and letting us know the status of our dog Chico. We were very please with her care and services. Looking forward to booking her again!”

About: I’ve had dogs almost my whole life. I am able to administer medication, give baths, take walks and give all the belly rubs needed. My goal one day is to foster dogs and cats, caring for your fur baby will give me all the experience I need to care for other animals until I have the space to do it. I just love them all! I generally work from home with a very lenient schedule. My kids are all grown and out of the house leaving me with a lot of free time. I just have one dog and one cat, but I would love to love more!! I do not have a fenced yard so I would be walking your dog for potty breaks. I do have a crate I can use in home if needed. For doggy day care we would schedule a meet and greet beforehand. I am available almost anytime for walks and feeding if necessary. For cats I am available for feeding and litter box cleaning.

I treat every pet as if they were my own, providing plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and updates so you can have peace of mind. My goal is to create a stress-free experience for both you and your furry family member. I look forward to meeting you and giving your pet the care, love, and attention they deserve! My husband and I both work from home. We are available to host pets through our the week, starting at 7am through true evening. We are able to accommodate special schedules. We have a fenced in property and separate home for any pets. Our 2 dogs will be able to keep your pet company and we are able to crate dogs.
“Kerri is so pleasant and Ori makes sure to keep order to the house :-). He was very protective of my Marco and I appreciate them both for taking good care of him. Marco was not feeling his best but they took very good care of him. Their home was beautiful, the space was perfect and Marco was comfortable which was all that mattered. I’d recommend them and will book again.”

“Jean and her family took great care of Churro! She provided daily updates and pictures of churro which was so fun to read. We looked forward to it everyday. She was very accommodating with churro’s dietary needs and he seemed like a very happy dog when we picked him up after our vacation. She was also very helpful and accommodating when we had to change our pickup date and time due to a flight cancellation! Overall, I highly recommend Jean! Churro had a wonderful time with her family.”

“Winston had a great time with Teresa! Teresa took excellent care of Winston and sent us updates to let us know how he was doing. We will definitely leave Winston in Teresa’s capable hands again soon!”

“Reneé was great with Lily for a short overnight stay! She took lots of cute photos of her. She even squeezed in a quick walk before our pickup time. Lily will be back!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - New Boston
Sydney is Awesome with my Zola this is the second time she has watched Zola, when Zola first met Sydney she was nervous meeting someone new but Sydney made her feel at home with her so the second time Zola remembered her and was happy to see her. While she was with Sydney I had no doubt that she was being well taken care of. Thanks Sydney

Sydney was amazing!!! Poor Charlie got sick with 2 parasites right before his visit. He was feeling much better after a few days on medication so Sydney still was willing to take him in. She continued the rest of his treatment which consisted of multiple medications at carousing times throughout the day. She continued to provide us updates through out his stay and reassured us that he was definitely on the up and up the whole time. Her location is ideal for airport travel as she is only about 10 minutes from DTW. We will absolutely use Sydney in the future!! Thank you again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
