About: I've had dogs all my life. We just just put our dog down after 12 years from being raised as a puppy. Our family isn't ready for a new dog yet, but we love the company! As a teacher, my summer is dedicated to being home and active! I am looking forward to a summer filled with backyard play and plenty of attention for our guest pups. Since we’ll be home the vast majority of the time, your dog will have constant companionship. While we might head out for the occasional short day trip or camp drop-off, our schedule is primarily centered around being home, making us very flexible for drop-offs, pick-ups, and mid-day belly rubs! Your pup’s safety is our top priority! We have a fully fenced-in backyard where dogs can safely run, play, and explore under constant supervision. Our home is a family environment with three kids who are taught to be gentle and respectful with animals, so we do require that any guest dogs be kid-friendly. Inside, we have stairs, so please let us know if your pup has any mobility issues or needs assistance. We are also happy to crate your dog for meals or naps if that is what they are used to at home. Since we currently have no other pets, your dog will receive 100% of our attention and love during their stay

Working with the Michigan Humane Society’s Dog Day Getaway taught me how to handle pups of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I specialize in gentle senior care, patient puppy training, and making every pet feel safe, loved, and understood. I treat every pet like family and tailor my care to their unique needs and routines. Whether it’s slow walks for seniors or playful zoomies for puppies, I meet every dog where they’re happiest. I work from home, so I’m around all day and love having pets as part of my routine. My schedule is steady but flexible, which means I can easily adjust to each pet’s needs. I like starting the day with a walk or some playtime and taking plenty of breaks for cuddles, outdoor time, or just keeping a pup company. Caring for animals fits naturally into my life, it’s something I truly enjoy. When I’m caring for pets, my goal is always to make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and preferences so I can keep things as familiar as possible. Whether that’s sticking to their usual feeding schedule, favorite walking route, or bedtime routine. I keep communication open with pet parents and send plenty of updates and photos for peace of mind.

I have a safe neighborhood for walking, a dog of my own for your pets company! My dog is friendly and loves to play! He is a chihuahua and his name is Gizmo.

About: Hi! I’m Nicole. I’m a retired professional petsitter/dog walker of 10+ years and have experience with a variety of breeds, sizes, and ages. I’m comfortable giving oral medications, insulin shots, and catering to special dietary needs. I’ve been working from home recently and would love to have some dog friends to keep me company. I own my home and have a HUGE fenced in yard that is great for fetch, and dog friends are welcome on the furniture. Dogs that love to go for walks are a plus because honestly, I feel weird going for walks without one lol. Dogs must be cat friendly! I’m a homebody by nature and rarely am away from home for more than a couple of hours, if I do go out I typically will separate my cats and my dog friends as an additional safety precaution. I don’t crate dogs unless it’s a typical part of their routine. I’m unable to accommodate dogs from multiple households.
