About: Starting 5 years ago, I began working in the pet care field as a kennel technician. I have now added veterinary assisting to my repertoire, going on 2 years. This abundance of nuanced experience has allowed me to effectively to care for all pets sick or well, young or old, and small or large! I am currently a full time vet technician, but I can definitely fit in pet-sitting, walk-ins, and or dog walks throughout the week. I usually am home for free time and love to keep busy so I have flexible availability. I usually let my dog free roam the house when we are winding down after a walk or fetch. Interaction is key to a healthy mindset for pets, so I try to entertain them as much as possible!
About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I have years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, including having my own family dogs, Milo and Charlie, who previously lived with me full-time. I also have experience fostering animals and working at a doggy daycare, which gave me experience caring for dogs with different breeds, sizes, ages, personalities, and routines. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime, supervision, cleaning, and providing lots of attention and affection. I’m patient, responsible, attentive, and genuinely love animals. I currently work part-time and attend school, which gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the week for pet care. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, boarding, and overnight care depending on the day. I’m happy to work with your pet’s normal routine and will make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and companionship while in my care. I’ll follow any feeding, walking, medication, crate, or household instructions you provide and keep your pet’s normal routine as consistent as possible. I’m attentive and patient and understand that every animal has a different personality and comfort level. About: I got my first dog when I was in 12. Her name was Egypt and she was a red nose pit and at the time i didn’t know much about dogs but the love i grew for her and caring for her was so deep. She needed me for everyday survival but I learned I needed her much more than she needed me. I feel that way about all animals and I will treat your pet as if they are Egypt. I have dog sat friends/family pets before as well, i walked, fed, bathed, their/my pets as well as cleaning their enclosures and dealing with doggie periods. I also have cared for a hamster and bearded dragon before so I have experience will pets other than cats or dogs! I’m currently working 11-7pm shifts with Wednesday and Sundays off, so I am free before 11, after 7 and all day on the days I do not have work! I’d like to fit in pet care as much as I can! I often do drop-ins/walks on my lunch break so that is always an option as well! Just message me :) I currently live at an apartment and would prefer to care for your pets in your home however, I do offer boarding as well. I have no problem cleaning up and refreshing the food bowls and litter boxes. Also making sure there are no paw prints on the floor if it’s wet or muddy outside. I love cleaning so also just cleaning up after myself or your pet if an accident occurs.

Leaving my dog with a sitter for the first made us feel uncertain. However having Jamie as a sitter made everything feel easy and more comfortable. She was great with my dog!
