“Chelsea was incredible! Our puppy was in the best hands during our trip - we got photos and updates multiple times throughout the day and it always looked like our dog was having a blast! Would definitely recommend and would love to have Chelsea watch our dog again!”

About: I’d love the opportunity to take care of your pet! I love dogs and cats, and have one cat of my own. :) I currently care for family and friends pets when they are out of town, but would love to add a few more pets to my schedule for boarding/drop-ins or walks. I am responsible & reliable and will treat your pet with much love and care! My current availability is evenings after work and weekends. During the summer months (mid June, July, August) my availability is open and I can provide pet care any time. I will follow all directions and give your pets the same love and care I give my sweet babies at home! I am reliable and respectful of others home & pets. You can count on me to take excellent care of your pets!
“Our dog has stayed with Ariana three times, and we are so grateful to have found her! Our dog loved her instantly, and has been very excited to go back each time. We would give her 6 stars if we could! She is very communicative, caring, and flexible. And with so many sitters on this site overloading themselves with pets to care for, it's great to know that with her one-dog policy, our pet will be a priority when he stays with her. Would highly recommend Ariana!”

“This was our first time using a pet sitter, and Caroline was wonderful. She is very kind and clearly loves dogs. We really appreciated the updates and felt comfortable throughout the stay. If we need a sitter again, we know we can trust her!”

“Elizabeth was great communicating and letting us know the status of our dog Chico. We were very please with her care and services. Looking forward to booking her again!”

“Amanda is the type of care provider we had dreamed of but never thought a person like her existed. Amanda, her husband and their home were all so warm and welcoming. It is so hard to believe that she could be all things, but she was. She was a caregiver to Henry with his special diet and many pills. She was an amazing communicator to me with photos in the morning and evening. And she was a companion and best friend to Henry, who followed her everywhere! All of this made a trip overseas so much less stressful. Amanda didn’t know I was that far away and on a different time zone. She didn’t know the updates she sent helped me get to sleep each night and made me less homesick. Amanda just was being her great self and sharing the fun photos of my dog in her care. It was exceptional! Amanda even took Henry for special walks just because she could tell he liked them. It was probably freezing outside, but she did it to make him happy. Like I said, Amanda is exceptional! My husband and I have had a dog in our life since the day we got married. They were all big dogs and we often had two at the same time. We kenneled them once or twice for short stays, and it was always so obvious when they returned that boarding them was a bad idea. They’d return home with hoarse voices, so it was obvious they were unhappy and barking for long lengths of time. Because two of our dogs were adopted as adults, we have sadly already experienced the loss of three. It took us a full year after the last loss to even consider bringing another dog into our lives. We had a lot of discussions of the pros and cons. One of the cons was that we had no family nearby who could watch a new dog if we ever traveled. I said there must be someone! The pros outweighed the cons and we adopted Henry even though we had nobody to watch him when we traveled. He came with us everywhere for years and became our family. We must have passed through 18 different states with him and a few provinces in Canada. After seeing Amanda and Henry in photos and in real life, now I want to leave town just so they can hang out again. It is so rare to find even family members who love your dog as you do. With Amanda, it was obvious Henry felt loved. He came home so happy and healthy and normal. I look forward to Henry spending time again with Amanda and her husband!”

“Amie and her family are absolutely wonderful!! They took just incredible care of my little Kaju. Sent me pictures to tell me about everything she had been up to…cannot say enough nice things about her. Thank you SO MUCH, Amie! Looking forward to many many more OG Kaju’s stays with you 🥰”
“I was nervous because this was the first time I'd left Picasso with someone he didn't know. Ekow was extremely kind and sent updates of a happy dog daily, which made me feel much better. We've found a new sitter and I will definitely be reaching out anytime we need a sitter. Five stars!!”

“I want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking such great care of Donatello! When we adopted him we had already had a family trip planned. We were nervous to find care for him but Anthony took it on with ease! We got so many pictures and videos we felt like we knew where he was at all times and we could see he was enjoying his puppy buddy. Would highly recommend Anthony!!!”

“Beverly is wonderful. My return flight was cancelled so I was stuck in Los Angeles and couldn’t pick up my dog as scheduled. I messaged Beverly and she contacted Rover to modify the booking. She was able to keep my dog until I was back home. Thanks again Beverly.”

“Chris and Cass took great care of our Smokey buddy. They were even willing to give him his daily meds that he needed last minute. We will be booking with them again!”

“This was Charlie’s fifth stay with Kelsey, and once again she was amazing! Charlie is always excited to see her and clearly feels right at home with her family. I really appreciate the updates and photos while I’m away, and I know he’s getting the best care. The pickup and drop-off service has also been a lifesaver with my unpredictable flight attendant schedule and last-minute work changes. It’s such a relief knowing Charlie is in great hands. I highly recommend Kelsey to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and flexible sitter!”

“I love her. First time leaving my Stormi but i was comfortable that she was in good hands. Always want someone that my pup would relax with. She was really calm when I picked her up. I will book with Jalyn again.”

“So kind and accommodating! Piper had a great time with Deb and Malcomb! Thank you for taking care of piper while we traveled to a family reunion out of state. Knowing that piper was in a home environment with dog lovers made us feel at ease. Deb was very good at sharing pictures and keeping us updated daily on our Miss Piper. A+ experience. Will highly recommend and will use in future. This was our very first Rover.com experience and it was good! Thank you!!”

“If you need a sitter for your beloved little one, then book with Yvonne…She is trustworthy, kind and very caring for my Emma…She sent pictures every day…easy communication with her and I will definitely use her again…My Emma had fun with her children, went for walks and was loved by her family…but most of all, I was at total ease and stress free when my husband and I went on vacation…I can’t thank her enough!!!”

“Will definitely be returning! Sent so many picture updates, played with my dogs, brushed them, spent quality time with them and always answered my messages at any time, day or night.”

“My dog always has a great time staying here. He gets plenty of playtime and exercise, is well cared for, and enjoys his boarding. Maria provides clear communication and pictures during the stay so we know he’s in good hands!”

Sydney is Awesome with my Zola this is the second time she has watched Zola, when Zola first met Sydney she was nervous meeting someone new but Sydney made her feel at home with her so the second time Zola remembered her and was happy to see her. While she was with Sydney I had no doubt that she was being well taken care of. Thanks Sydney

Teddy just finished his stay with Jasmine, and I couldn't be happier. She was attentive, followed all his care instructions, and kept me updated. Teddy came home happy and relaxed. It’s a huge relief to find someone so trustworthy to watch him!I’ll definitely be booking with her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
