“Lauren has been wonderful with Ike. She is very responsive, communicates clearly, and is always patient with him. Since Ike is a shy boy, I really appreciate the time and effort she puts into helping him feel comfortable. With each visit, Ike has become more relaxed and confident around her, which speaks volumes about her caring and gentle approach. I highly recommend Lauren to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate pet sitter.”

“First time hiring a pet sitter, wasn't sure what to expect. Molly was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond what I had expected. I would recommend her to anyone as someone to take care of their pets.”

About: I’ve owned animals all my life, I worked at a doggy daycare for a few years in college and I’ve done pet sitting for family and friends for as long as I can remember. I’ve taken body language classes (since that’s how our pets communicate with us) and multiple training courses with my own dog. I’ve also owned fish, turtles, several small animals including hedgehogs, hamsters, birds and rabbits. I’m open to any pets not just cats and dogs 🖤 My schedule is mostly anytime around an 8-5 Monday-Friday work schedule since I paint cars at a dealership collision shop during the day. There is no schedule for pet care so I do my best to be open and flexible to drop in on your fur babies whenever they need it. I own a reactive dog, so I understand body language and stress and how it can stack up during the day. A good balance of physical activity, combined with mental stimulation and TLC will help to ease any anxiety your pets might have while you’re gone. Many households (even myself) have cameras inside and out to keep an eye on pets and I always encourage parents to reach out if they think their pet needs an extra drop in regardless of if it’s scheduled or not. Pet sitting isn’t just a “30 minute drop in” it’s much much more to me.

“Lauren was great with our dogs! She was patient with our one dog that takes a little bit of time to warm up to people. Her communication was fantastic and she sent lots of pictures so we knew everything was going well. Will definitely use her again in the future!!”

“Jackie is GREAT! She is punctual and very sweet with my pups. She took the time to learn their personalities which is helping them feel safe and comfortable. I highly recommend Jackie for your pet care needs.”

About: My very first job was starting a dog walking business with my sister and best friend when I was 13! I would walk up to two dogs at a time, feed them their meals, spend time with them while their owners were away, and play with them! I now have two of my own dogs that I adore and love spending time with. Throughout the years, my love for dogs and animals has only grown! I have been completing Rover services since May of 2026, and have fallen in love with it as a full-time job! I am available Monday through Friday, and the times are very flexible, as well as weekends as needed. I am looking to see more dogs weekly, so reach out to see if the times works! At my house, we have a fenced in yard, so my dogs roam freely. While on walks, they use a harness and a leash. I am comfortable with putting on all harnesses and prefer to walk a dog with a leash, but if the dog is trained well enough to not need one, I am comfortable with that as well.

About: I have a Master’s degree in Biology and currently work in a management role, bringing reliability, organization, and strong communication skills to everything I do—including pet care. I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and have experience caring for dogs, cats, and even bunnies. Over the years, I’ve provided pet sitting for a wide variety of animals throughout college and beyond. In addition to personal experience, I’ve volunteered my time walking dogs at a local animal shelter and have supported animal welfare through holiday donation drives. Caring for animals isn’t just something I enjoy—it’s something I genuinely value. I’m also an active runner currently training for a half marathon, so I’d be more than happy to take high-energy dogs out for runs or extra-long walks to help them burn off energy and stay happy and healthy. I’m using Rover as a way to give back while doing something I love. I’m fundraising for two meaningful causes as part of my upcoming runDisney half marathon at Disney World: Hope Story, which supports individuals with Down syndrome, and Experience Camps, which provides free camps for children who have lost a parent or sibling. I’m just $1195 away from my goal, and every booking helps me get closer while continuing to provide loving, dependable care for pets. I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule. My son will be attending school this summer and I’m looking for additional ways to earn some extra money. I have a rescue pit-mix named Jetta who enjoys our acre and a half backyard. I am reliable and will show respect in client homes, if drop in visits are preferred.

“We were thoroughly pleased with Jean, and our first experience with Rover. She obviously loves what she is doing, and that showed in her photos of our dog (Rusty). The text communications were appreciated, and we felt pleased that Rusty had been cared for well. Thank you!”
About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life — I’ve had both dogs and cats in my home since birth, and caring for them truly comes naturally to me. Currently, I share my home with a Standard Poodle, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and two dog-friendly cats who are all well-socialized and used to visiting pets. I understand how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pet in someone else’s care, so I’m always happy to arrange a video call or an in-person meet and greet beforehand — whatever helps give you peace of mind. Why pet parents choose me: • Your dog will enjoy a comfortable, home-like environment with plenty of love and attention — not long hours outside unsupervised or crated unnecessarily. • I only board for one family at a time, which allows me to give your pet individualized care and attention while also limiting exposure to unfamiliar animals. • I work full-time from home, so your pet will rarely, if ever, be left alone. • As a Rover customer myself, I know how reassuring regular communication can be. I’m happy to send frequent photo updates and check-ins while you’re away. • I pride myself on being dependable, reliable, and attentive. Whether it’s boarding, walks, or drop-ins, you can count on me to be punctual and fully committed to your pet’s care. • I do not require crating for dogs who are not normally crated at home. I want your pet to feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible during their stay. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, loved, and completely at home while they’re with me — and for you to feel confident knowing they’re being cared for like family. I work full-time from home Monday - Friday, but I am able walk and care for pets on my breaks and lunch hour. My work schedule is extremely flexible. I will care for your pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether that means belly rubs, head scratches, cuddles, treats, playtime, or simply quiet companionship, I’ll tailor my care to your pet’s individual personality and needs. And if your pet prefers their space or is more independent, I’ll always respect their boundaries and comfort level. For drop-in visits, I’m open to watering plants, taking out trash, bringing in mail etc. in addition to caring for your pet(s). Just let me know what you need done!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
