About: I’ve grown up caring for all kinds of pets such as dogs, cats, birds, and guinea pigs, animal care has always been my passion. I’m comfortable and experienced with pets of all kinds! I also have experience caring for pets with Cerebellar Hypoplasia. I’m fully available anytime, and will work around your schedule! I try to be home as much as possible when I have a pet in my care, the longest I would be away is 2-3 hours. I have a fenced yard with a tie out leash! I can also provide walks everyday! About: I have trained, watched, worked with, handled, and loved on every temperament of pet from lovable couch potatoes, anxiety ridden, hospice care, and animals that do not do well with other people or animals for over 20 years. Through those years I have worked with rescues, dog shows, dog sports, and training and raising puppies and adults that have helped me to become an extremely understanding, patient, and proficient behaviorist and trainer I am to this day. Anything from walks, training, medical needs, behavioral needs, bathing, or just simple understanding is my expertise with animals, primarily dogs. I do have a full time job, however animal care is a top priority. I also have a partner (who is also verified on rover and a former veterinarian technician) that lives with me, which leaves me able to board, train, doggy daycare, or any need a family might need while seeking a pet sitter for their beloved pet/s. If your pet/s is boarding at my home, I have a fenced in yard with multiple types of animals that are all very well behaved and trained. I have a separate space in my kitchen for your pet/s or I do crate dogs at night time and place cats in a separate, closed area at night for your pet/s comfortability in a new environment. If I care for your pet/s at their home, they will have the comfort and safety of their regular routine at their home while you have the peace of mind that not only are your pet/s taken care of but so is your home while away. Following medical need instructions and able to administer any meds will be adhered to in the utmost manner. Whether your pet/s are at my home or yours for overnights, day time drop ins, or daytime doggy daycare they are treated with the highest level of patience and respect. Pet/s will also have numerous potty breaks, multiple walks if they need, and some good ol fashion playtime and love.

About: I am an animal lover, a mother of 2, an aspiring writer, and love taking long walks. My children are having a great time getting to know different dogs and bonding with them like they were our own. I was fortunate enough to love and care for a special needs dog for 13 years and miss my time with him. I understand the importance of not leaving your pets alone all day long and look forward to providing some lucky dog with all the cuddles, play time, exercise, and gentle discipline they require while enriching the lives of my children and I. I would love to get to know your furry friend and look forward to learning about their particular needs and how I can help them. It's almost like you are doing me a favor! Pet care is literally my job. My only other obligations are caring for my children, which fits well with caring for pets. We are active and enjoy spending our days moving, walking, and having fun. I live in an upstairs condo with my children. I generally take 4 walks a day with dogs in my home. I have older cats who will stay hidden while your dog is here. If you allow it, I may bake your dogs healthy treats during the stay. When I visit your home, I want things to remain looking untouched, and I will clean up any messes your pet has made or does make while I’m there. This includes sweeping litter, cleaning urine and vomit and poo, vacuuming pet hair after a good petting, and cleaning up things your pet may have “stress chewed”. I do have school runs in the morning and afternoon. If your dog likes the car, they are welcome to come along. Otherwise, I’m get really home all day. At my home, we try to provide lots of attention through play, petting, or just companionship, and walks throughout the day to keep your dog comfortable, happy, and healthy. I’ll be sure to follow whatever instructions you provide and send periodic updates so you know what your dog has been up to. When I visit your home, I will again, follow your instructions and give your pet the attention it needs.

About: If i had 100 fenced acres i would probably have 100 dogs. First hand experience with Golden Retrievers, Boxers, Dobermans, Cocker Spaniels, Labrador Retrievers, Schnauzers, Irish Wolf Hounds, Terriers and Yorkies. I periodically raise and train Golden Retrievers for Leaderdogs for the Blind. If i am completely blocked off for a couple weeks i am probably hosting a leaderdog puppy for another raiser that is on a vacation. I have a lot of repeat customers and look forward to seeing their dogs get excited when they pull into my driveway. It would be tough but if i had to pick the breed i couldn't live without i would put Goldens at the top. Even though i don't let any dogs on my bed i’m known for sleeping on the floor in the living-room with the dogs.

About: I've had dogs my whole life. Currently, we have 4 dogs. I've had great experiences with Rover and would like to provide the same care we have received. I have been around all ages of dogs - my children (10 years old and 11 years old) absolutely love animals. From puppies to senior care, we will make sure your fur-baby has a comfortable, playful stay! I am currently staying at home with the kids and homeschooling. Someone will be home unless we run to the store. We are very consistent taking our dogs out with a fenced in yard. I have a fenced in yard - animals are allowed on furniture. We don't crate our animals but we are able to if that is your baby's routine.

About: For over 25 years, our home has never been without a dog. Sadly, we had to say goodbye to our beloved boy, Blue, this past year, and we deeply miss the daily joy and warmth a pet brings to a household. Right now, our family is in a transition period as our daughter heads off to college to play softball. Before we commit to a new pet of our own, we want to see how her game and travel schedule unfolds so we can ensure we have the proper time and dedication a permanent dog deserves. Caring for your pet gives us the wonderful opportunity to welcome that familiar canine joy back into our lives, while giving your dog a warm, experienced, and incredibly attentive "home away from home" where they will be treated like family. Since I work from home full-time, your pup will have constant companionship throughout the day. I am easily able to step away for regular, timely bathroom breaks, and I love using my work breaks to check in on them, stretch our legs, and truly enjoy their company. We have a fully fenced-in backyard, but please note that one portion of the fence in the back is a bit lower. Because of this, we want to ensure your pup isn't an active "fence-jumper." However, safety is my top priority! My work-from-home setup gives me full visibility of the entire backyard while I work. If there is ever any concern, I am more than happy to accompany your dog outside every time they need to do their business. Daily Routine & Preferences Once the workday wraps up, it’s all about the dogs—longer neighborhood walks and dedicated playtime are always on the horizon! I am incredibly comfortable caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic young pups to gentle seniors, provided they are fully house-trained.

About: I have been caring for dogs and cats most of my life. I had my own dog for 15 years. She passed away a little over a year ago from old age. She was my furry daughter, and I treated her as such. She only got the best food, and she had the run of the house. Your dog will have the same. I don't care about dogs being on my furniture or my bed. My dog used to sleep on my bed every night, and she rested on the furniture whenever she wanted. Your dog will be able to do the same at my house. I will make sure your dog gets regular walks and outside time. I will also make sure that he or she gets all the love and care he or she deserves. I work from home so your pet will always have company. I am at home most of the time during the day and night because of the nature of my job. I am the only person who lives in my house, so I can give total attention to your pet all day, without any interruptions. Also I can make sure they get regular play time if necessary.

About: Welcome to Jack’s Place! 🐾 After 14 wonderful years with our beloved dog, Jack, we weren’t quite ready to stop having dogs in our lives—but we also weren’t ready to have another dog of our own. So we decided to open our home to dogs who would enjoy a comfortable, loving place to spend the day. We’re a family of four with a large fenced-in yard and a quiet, comfortable home. Both adults work from home, so someone is typically around throughout the day. Your dog will get plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, outdoor time, and companionship, and won’t be left alone for long stretches. Our goal is simple: to give your dog a comfortable home away from home where they can relax and feel like part of the family. Jack was our first dog, and we cared for him from seven weeks old through every stage of his life, including his senior years and the medical and dietary needs that came with them. We also regularly interact with and occasionally care for my brother-in-law’s three pit bulls, who live just two houses away. Our school-age kids have grown up with dogs and are very comfortable around them. Because of our experience with Jack, we’re especially comfortable with senior dogs, special diets, routine medications, and other medical needs. We offer in-home dog daycare Monday through Friday, approximately 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Our home is quiet during the workday, and while we both work from home, I have occasional off-site meetings. At least one of us is generally home and around throughout the day. We can provide potty breaks every couple of hours, along with plenty of attention and opportunities for backyard play. Our kids leave for school between 7:40 and 8:20 a.m. and return home between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m., so the house is especially quiet during most of the workday. Your dog will have access to our main living area and our large fenced-in backyard. Neighborhood walks may be possible if specifically requested and if we can accommodate one around our work schedules, but walks aren’t guaranteed as part of daycare. A meet-and-greet at our home is required before any daycare booking. This gives you and your dog a chance to meet us, see our home and fenced-in yard, and make sure everyone is comfortable. It also gives us a chance to learn about your dog’s personality, routine, and needs.
