About: Notice: I require proof of a current rabies vaccine prior to booking. Your fur baby will receive the same love and care as my own. I've always had dogs and cats in my life and I have experience with all kinds of breeds, including pit bulls, retrievers, and terriers. I can accommodate most dogs, but I cannot board dogs who have a high prey drive. I require a Meet & Greet before your first booking. I live in a typical Detroit-area brick ranch with a fenced backyard (privacy fence against a chain link). I never leave dogs outside when I'm away from home and although the yard is fenced, I supervise and play with my guest dogs when they're outside. Please send me a request if you are interested in booking. I'd love to set up a "meet & greet"! Thanks for considering the Howliday Inn! Why I love dog sitting I've been a dog lover my whole life. I've owned a Springer spaniel, two Labrador retrievers, and an American bulldog. I have experience with many breeds and can handle just about any dog. I've hosted everything from teeny little 7-pound terriers to a 150 pound Newfoundland. I no longer have a dog of my own, so dog sitting lets me be a dog mom a few days at a time. About my yard I have a typical suburban Detroit backyard - fenced on all sides with a gated driveway. I have a large deck on the back of the house and a small/medium grassy area. Although my yard is fenced, I never leave my guest dogs unattended while they're outside. My experience in administering medication I have only administered oral medication. My main job is pet sitting and walking, so your baby will receive lots of love and attention from me. Please see my schedule for availability. I ask pet parents about routines and feeding schedules. In my home, I use a baby gate to keep dogs from escaping out of open doors. My back yard is fenced and I supervise dogs when they go outside. I have a large crate for dogs who need to be crated when left alone or for dogs who are comforted by being crated. I only use a crate for dogs who use them at home. When I’m house sitting, I take a similar approach, but I also double-check the home is secure when I leave.

“Emily truly exceeds expectations in her care for our puppy, Loki. She consistently provides updates and is actively helping him improve his behavior. Emily has been incredibly responsive, answering all our questions promptly and thoroughly. She has given my husband and me complete peace of mind, ensuring us that Loki is in excellent care. Her home is wonderfully designed with the dogs' enjoyment and safety in mind, both of which are top priorities for her and for us. As our first experience with a doggy day care, Emily has set the bar high, and we are profoundly grateful to have discovered her services. Thank you for your upmost care!”
4. Kalee Y.
“Kalee and her family did a great job on short notice for a two-day daycare booking. It was Remi's first time with them but we were able to have a meet and greet the week before and that went very well. They liked him and I'm pretty sure he felt the same way. Makes me feel quite comfortable for our original booking which is two weeks away. Glad to have someone close by who can look after Remi when we just don't want to leave him for an overly long day home alone; he doesn't like that very much. Thanks, Kalee!”

16. Deanna D.
About: I work in education and currently have an 2 year old Bernese Mountain dog. She is very loving, friendly and playful but definitely never misses an opportunity to nap and lounge around! Whether your furbaby is at my house or I travel to yours, I promise to treat them with all of the love that you would yourself (and even a bit more if that is possible!) I prefer not to stay away overnight as I have my own dogs and rabbit to care for at home but am open to bringing your pet to my house as long as they are house trained and non-destructive! My lifelong dream is to own my own doggy daycare :) I work full time in a high school but have weeknights and weekends available. I also have holiday breaks and summers off so if I am in town I’d love to take care of your pets! I have a fenced yard and very aware of surroundings when walking any dog. My dog is a lot of energy at first but loves sleeping and cuddles when inside. I am currently fostering an in-tact female mill rescue but she absolutely loves playing with other dogs in the yard and thrives outside!

“Super great experience, very accommodating, easy pick up and drop off. Would highly recommend, and will definitely be a repeat customer!”
