🇺🇸 Military Friendly — I’m currently transitioning out of active duty through a medical retirement process and regularly work with active duty and reserve families. Pet care is something I’ve chosen to pursue full-time as I transition out of the military, which allows me to provide consistent supervision, flexible scheduling, and reliable care. Whether you’re heading to drill, work, or out of town, your dog will have someone present and engaged throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment
My 3-year-old pit bull, Rambo, is friendly, social, and experienced being around other dogs. I take introductions seriously and always make sure dogs are a good fit before allowing full interaction. Dogs are supervised during play, and I separate when needed to maintain a calm, controlled environment. I do not force interaction—each dog is handled based on their comfort level and temperament. My home is set up to safely accommodate multiple dogs, with structure, designated rest time, and clear boundaries so dogs can relax and settle in comfortably.

Information Jacob W. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any specific routines, behaviors, or needs I should be aware of ahead of time. This includes things like feeding schedules, crate use, energy level, social behavior with other dogs, and anything they’re still working on. 🐕
A typical day
Dogs in my care get a good balance of playtime and downtime throughout the day, with consistent supervision. I have a large, fenced-in yard where dogs can run, play, and get their energy out. I also make sure they have time inside to relax so they don’t get overstimulated. Depending on the dog, I may include walks or light engagement during the day. With owner approval, I can also take dogs to Lions Park for extra exercise and a change of environment. My goal is to keep things simple, safe, and comfortable so your dog feels at home while they’re here.

Pet care experience
🐾 Why Choose Me as Your Rover Sitter? I treat every dog in my care like family and make sure they’re comfortable, safe, and well looked after while they’re here. Pet care is something I’ve chosen to pursue full-time, so I’m able to be present and attentive throughout the day. Exercise is already part of my daily routine, so dogs get consistent opportunities for play, movement, and time outside. With a large fenced-in yard, they have space to run and get their energy out in a safe environment. I focus on keeping things simple and structured—making sure each dog is a good fit, supervising interactions, and giving them a balance of activity and downtime so they feel at home.
Reviews

Jacob (and Ranger) are awesome! He sent great updates during our two week overseas trip. My pup was in wonderful condition when she came home, and will absolutely book again!

Jacob was awesome and his Rambo was so good with Grady. I definitely recommend his service. I'd gladly use him again but sadly he is moving. Where ever he goes I'm sure he will be very successful. Grady didn't want to come home. He slept for hours when he got home, he had great time. Thank you Jacob!!

Jacob took great care of my dog Freya. He provided plenty of updates and pictures showing my happy pup.

The best!
