About: Hi there! We accept small to medium-sized dogs (20 pounds max or less) and typically care for no more than 4 dogs at a time. Under our careful supervision, your pup can interact and play freely, enjoying both the house and our spacious, clean, secure and fenced-in backyard. They are not confined to kennels or cages, and can sleep wherever they feel comfortable, whether in the open or in their own crate. We have many nooks and crannies for the pups to relax in and many soft, clean blankets and pillows. They will have ample time outdoors for fresh air, exercise and fun (weather permitting), and the rest of course spent indoors, having fun, resting, playing games (we have many many puzzles and snuffle mats) and occasionally having a yummy, owner approved treat (we don't want upset tummies). They are regularly let out for potty breaks and fresh air every 1 to 2 hours, and never left unattended. WHAT WE WOULD LOVE TO KNOW: We understand each dog has their own personality, likes, dislikes, and temperament. ****A meet-n-greet is required prior to the start of any service.**** -Unless arranged by special request during the week, they are usually on Saturdays and Sundays and by appointment. -Please allow enough time prior to your reservation to arrange for the meet-n-greet. LAST MINUTE REQUESTS: We will do our best to accommodate those in tight spots, but generally we only reserve this option for established clients only. VACCINATIONS: Please ensure your pup is up-to-date with vaccinations before boarding to protect them and our little ones from illnesses. PHOTOS: We know how important peace of mind is, so we send consistent, informative photos/updates/videos of your little one so that you know what they are up to and so that you can rest assured that they are doing well! LOCATION: We are located right outside of Ann Arbor - perfect spot near highways and shops! MEDICATION: Yes, we do provide, however, we do not provide service to pets that are sick/ill/recovering/ or need medical attention during their stay. We do provide service to pets that are in good health but require maintenance medications, with vets' approval. FIRST AID/CPR: As of November 2024, we are actively working on finding a reputable organization to refresh our human and pet first aid and CPR certification! ABOUT OUR LITTLE ONES: Archie and Roxy are our two adorable, little terriers who love to have fun - they would be co-hosting with me. My husband works from home, so there is generally always someone home. Either my husband, who works from home, or I will be on hand to supervise the dogs at all times. Ensuring your dogs' safety is my highest priority. A LITTLE ABOUT US: My husband and I are super responsible, incredibly loving dog parents. I was raised with dogs, and other animals, as was my husband (who grew up on a farm here in Michigan). Combined, we have closer to 20 plus years of experience in taking care of our own furbabies, those of our neighbors, and various other kinds of pets. We've been there, worried and stressed out over having to find someone trustworthy who will treat and love our little ones with the same level of care and concern that we do! Being super loving, very protective, and knowledgeable pet parents ourselves, we know full well how stressful it can be to rely on someone else. We are great communicators and continuously strive to educate ourselves and learn about the best new dog products, services, treats, etc. Please rest assured that we will do our best to answer your questions and concerns. It's always a joy to connect with fellow pet parents who are just as devoted and loving to their family members as we are to ours! My schedule tends to be flexible. My husband works from home as well- it’s a joy to have little ones running around! There is always someone at home with a watchful eye - your pup will never be left alone. The importance of temperament cannot be overstated; if there are particular household rules to increase the comfort of your furbaby, I will follow them to the letter. I would like to know if he/she has any medical issues, special needs, etc. A veterinarian's contact information and instructions would be required if medication is needed - this of course also applies if they have special dietary needs, allergies, etc.

About: I’ve helped care for a variety of breeds and temperaments, including small dogs, large breeds, and shy or anxious pets who need a gentle approach. I treat every animal like they’re my own — with patience, love, and attention to their unique personality and needs. I'm currently working as flight pet nanny, this makes my schedule flexible to fit your needs to care for your pet. As I provide daily and overnight stays. We will have a meet and greet ahead of time. I begin the day with breakfast, then we will go for a walk and bathroom break. After that we will come home to play and hangout together.

About: I have had dogs since I was little, helped my parents walk, feed, bathe, clean up after them. I had my own dog for 12 years. My children also love dogs and love to help with them. I work evenings but while I'm at work my husband is home with our children so someone is always home to take care of your dog. We have a little yard but can offer unlimited potty breaks, clean environment, an area for naps and bedtime. Lots of love from my children to keep them entertained!

About: I’ve had pets my whole life growing up. I currently don’t have any pets right now because I have 2 little ones at home. I’d love to spend my extra time with furry friends! I currently am home full time with my two little ones. We don’t have any pets right now but would love to spend the extra time we have with some furry friends! I usually wake up around 6:30-7:00am to start my day and head to bed around 9:00pm. I do have a 2 year old and a 2 month old in the home. Pets can easily be separated if needed, we have lots of space. I also have plenty of room for an extra crate and have one available if needed. I live in a very large neighborhood that’s easy to walk and also have trails and parks nearby! I’m already out walking with my littles so why not add a furry friend!

About: I have trained, watched, worked with, handled, and loved on every temperament of pet from lovable couch potatoes, anxiety ridden, hospice care, and animals that do not do well with other people or animals for over 20 years. Through those years I have worked with rescues, dog shows, dog sports, and training and raising puppies and adults that have helped me to become an extremely understanding, patient, and proficient behaviorist and trainer I am to this day. Anything from walks, training, medical needs, behavioral needs, bathing, or just simple understanding is my expertise with animals, primarily dogs. I do have a full time job, however animal care is a top priority. I also have a partner (who is also verified on rover and a former veterinarian technician) that lives with me, which leaves me able to board, train, doggy daycare, or any need a family might need while seeking a pet sitter for their beloved pet/s. If your pet/s is boarding at my home, I have a fenced in yard with multiple types of animals that are all very well behaved and trained. I have a separate space in my kitchen for your pet/s or I do crate dogs at night time and place cats in a separate, closed area at night for your pet/s comfortability in a new environment. If I care for your pet/s at their home, they will have the comfort and safety of their regular routine at their home while you have the peace of mind that not only are your pet/s taken care of but so is your home while away. Following medical need instructions and able to administer any meds will be adhered to in the utmost manner. Whether your pet/s are at my home or yours for overnights, day time drop ins, or daytime doggy daycare they are treated with the highest level of patience and respect. Pet/s will also have numerous potty breaks, multiple walks if they need, and some good ol fashion playtime and love.
