“Margaret was so kind and so accommodating to my and my dog’s needs. My puppy is very shy with other dogs and Margaret stayed with her while other dogs were playing to make her more comfortable. She even picked up my dog and dropped her off since I had a busy schedule. It was my first time using rover and Margaret will always be my go-to person whenever I need my puppy to be watched over!”

“My dogs adore Erin and seem to enjoy spending time at her home. We have used her multiple times for daycare and boarding and she's the best. You can tell she really cares about the animals in her care.”

“Panda came back so-o-o relaxed and happy from Laura and Manuel's. (He was happy to go there, and in no big hurry to come home!) Good amount of feedback of how he spent his day and how he behaved. Their dogs are such a sweet little dog pack for any pup to join! And Laura is so good at putting anxious dogs at ease.”

“Christopher was great! We had a meet and greet before I left Sadie for the day, which helped helped reduce Sadie's tendency to be anxious in new places and around new people. Christopher sent me photos throughout the day to let me know that Sadie had settled in and was getting along great with Frank, the dog who lives with Christopher. I am very grateful that we found him and I'm hopeful that Sadie will have many fun visits at Christopher's house in the future.”

“Kali had her 2nd daycare stay with Kayden and she had SO much fun! We got lots of pictures of her during her stay which was awesome! Kayden was very kind and professional and experienced! We will definitely bring our Kali girl back!”

“I can tell that Heather really treated our dog like part of her family. And I can tell, too, that Panda had a very tiring, happy day at her house. He was excited to see me, but in NO hurry to go home. And he's been sleeping since we got back.”

About: Hi there! We accept small to medium-sized dogs (20 pounds max or less) and typically care for no more than 4 dogs at a time. Under our careful supervision, your pup can interact and play freely, enjoying both the house and our spacious, clean, secure and fenced-in backyard. They are not confined to kennels or cages, and can sleep wherever they feel comfortable, whether in the open or in their own crate. We have many nooks and crannies for the pups to relax in and many soft, clean blankets and pillows. They will have ample time outdoors for fresh air, exercise and fun (weather permitting), and the rest of course spent indoors, having fun, resting, playing games (we have many many puzzles and snuffle mats) and occasionally having a yummy, owner approved treat (we don't want upset tummies). They are regularly let out for potty breaks and fresh air every 1 to 2 hours, and never left unattended. WHAT WE WOULD LOVE TO KNOW: We understand each dog has their own personality, likes, dislikes, and temperament. ****A meet-n-greet is required prior to the start of any service.**** -Unless arranged by special request during the week, they are usually on Saturdays and Sundays and by appointment. -Please allow enough time prior to your reservation to arrange for the meet-n-greet. LAST MINUTE REQUESTS: We will do our best to accommodate those in tight spots, but generally we only reserve this option for established clients only. VACCINATIONS: Please ensure your pup is up-to-date with vaccinations before boarding to protect them and our little ones from illnesses. PHOTOS: We know how important peace of mind is, so we send consistent, informative photos/updates/videos of your little one so that you know what they are up to and so that you can rest assured that they are doing well! LOCATION: We are located right outside of Ann Arbor - perfect spot near highways and shops! MEDICATION: Yes, we do provide, however, we do not provide service to pets that are sick/ill/recovering/ or need medical attention during their stay. We do provide service to pets that are in good health but require maintenance medications, with vets' approval. FIRST AID/CPR: As of November 2024, we are actively working on finding a reputable organization to refresh our human and pet first aid and CPR certification! ABOUT OUR LITTLE ONES: Archie and Roxy are our two adorable, little terriers who love to have fun - they would be co-hosting with me. My husband works from home, so there is generally always someone home. Either my husband, who works from home, or I will be on hand to supervise the dogs at all times. Ensuring your dogs' safety is my highest priority. A LITTLE ABOUT US: My husband and I are super responsible, incredibly loving dog parents. I was raised with dogs, and other animals, as was my husband (who grew up on a farm here in Michigan). Combined, we have closer to 20 plus years of experience in taking care of our own furbabies, those of our neighbors, and various other kinds of pets. We've been there, worried and stressed out over having to find someone trustworthy who will treat and love our little ones with the same level of care and concern that we do! Being super loving, very protective, and knowledgeable pet parents ourselves, we know full well how stressful it can be to rely on someone else. We are great communicators and continuously strive to educate ourselves and learn about the best new dog products, services, treats, etc. Please rest assured that we will do our best to answer your questions and concerns. It's always a joy to connect with fellow pet parents who are just as devoted and loving to their family members as we are to ours! My schedule tends to be flexible. My husband works from home as well- it’s a joy to have little ones running around! There is always someone at home with a watchful eye - your pup will never be left alone. The importance of temperament cannot be overstated; if there are particular household rules to increase the comfort of your furbaby, I will follow them to the letter. I would like to know if he/she has any medical issues, special needs, etc. A veterinarian's contact information and instructions would be required if medication is needed - this of course also applies if they have special dietary needs, allergies, etc.
“Andrew was quick to respond and asked all the questions to be able to care for my dogs. My dogs seemed to be very comfortable during this stay and would definitely rebook next time I'm in need of a sitter for my girls.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was a child and have a dog of my own currently!(for 2 years) I’m experienced with daily routines, feeding, walking, playtime, and providing loving, attentive care :) I’m currently in school right now studying music therapy! I have a lot of free time on my end for same day scheduling or last minute! There are two dog parks in my complex that I stay in, as well as parks and nature walks! I also have a dog crate if needed!

About: Some of my friends in Texas called me "The Critter Whisperer" because of my strong affinity with all manner of animals. I have been an animal lover & had pets most of my life. I make a commitment to the fur babies in my care to do the very best for them I can. I've got a wide base of knowledge in animal care. I truly love taking care of animals, playing with them & snuggling with them. I know all the right places to rub & scritch. Have a snake (non-venomous) or lizard? I have no problems taking care of them. In fact I love reptiles and amphibians. I'm also good with ferrets and other small mammals. I'm the woman the animals who don't like strangers either love from the start or slowly warm up to. My first booking here on Rover was looking after 3 cats. One was so shy with strangers that she ran upstairs like a flash and hid when I did my meet and greet. By the end of my time there, I had sent her mom a picture of her stretched out against my thigh to get some petting. She was stunned. As a kid I gentled 2 mustangs to the point the stallion let me ride him bareback. His owner would pay me to care for them when I was visiting my sister because the stallion would attack him. I always stepped in when a "vicious" dog was loose in our neighborhood and never got bit doing it. I was literally the strange kid who had a "weird thing with animals." I started pet sitting when I was 11 to make money for art supplies. Even the endangered NJ Little Brown Bats that live on our property know me and will fly quite close to me when they go on their nightly hunts. I assisted with rehabbing dogs for Texas Great Pyrenees Rescue for 2 years. We had sickly dogs (severe heart worm mostly), injured dogs, dogs needing training. We cared for dogs from puppies to 160lb adults. I do have some knowledge of basic vet tech skills and animal first aid. I can give oral medication, subcutaneous (not venous) injections. I have even given injections to a snake. For elder or injured pets, I can give gentle massage and limb movement work while we're having a cuddle. Worst comes to worst, I know how to splint limbs, stem bleeding and quick-close a wound until more skilled hands are available. I am currently available to be with your fur babies full time. I'm a home body who works on digital art and writing projects from home and likes to snuggle pets and relax when not required to be elsewhere. If possible, I tend to have dogs do their business on their home turf first and then walk them so they get more from their walk than doing their business in a new place. I always pick up the waste in the home yard unless the owner specifies to just leave it.
“Kara did an amazing job taking care of Macky! He did two doggy day-care visits with her at her house and she took wonderful care of him and got him home safe. I would definitely recommend her!”

“Logann was amazing with our pup! He and Ollie had a great time hanging out for the day. Logann is very friendly and nice to talk to. Scout was tired after a fun day of play. We received wonderful pictures of Scout and his new friend Ollie. We are very happy Scout was safe and had fun! Thank you!”

“Cleo enjoys being with other dogs, and Nick's dog, Jester, was a perfect match for her energy! His yard is perfect for my beagle, Cleo, who loves to sniff and play. She had a great time and came home tired. Nick is very professional, and I appreciate Cleo was given so much enrichment while I was at work. I'll definitely be leaving her with him often!”

Winnie had such a good time! She got to run in the snow with new friends, and get lots of snuggles and love from Mina and her little boy❤️. Mina sent lots of cute pictures and fun videos. She really seemed to enjoy my Win - and I know Winnie enjoyed her time with Mina, her little one and her new 4-legged friends.🤗

Kara and Steven were great! We did a meet and greet and this was our first time doing daycare. Both appointments were easy to set up with clear, quick communication from Kara and Steven. During daycare, they updated the app with pics. They also took my pup on two long, beautiful walks -- much appreciated!

Melanie was so great with my little one — she got walks, lots of attention, and came back smelling so good! Also, her pup Giovanni was the *perfect* playmate. My little Pip immediately warmed to him, and I got the sweetest videos of them playing and then sleeping next to each other 🥹 Highly recommend Melanie, and so appreciate her taking Pip so last minute!
