“Jane is great with Badger! He really seems to enjoy his walks with her :) Jane is very quick to respond to questions and concerns that I may have, too. Thanks Jane for being so great with our furry family member!”
“Jessi knows just what our Hiro needs. Our rescue dog can fearful of other dogs and be reactive. Jessi’s calm confident demeanor helps our dog remain calm and confident so he is able to walk our neighborhood. Jessi has a way with animals!!”

“Rani is a sweet gal with a willing spirit. She was patient with my dog and successful with the walk (my dog was putting her head down and not wanting to go forward) It was the perfect midday break. Sweet Pea got a walk, human company and potty relief. I’m so glad we found Rani to help. I recommend her wholeheartedly”

About: I grew up with cocker spaniel pups most of my childhood, caring for them from newborn and on! As an adult, my husband and I adopted two dogs and loved them as our children into their old age. I'm adept at given meds and adjusting to older age. We've had pets of all sizes but do prefer to board 80 lbs and under :) My schedule is pretty flexible as I work/volunteer part time! I can make a variety of things work, even if it may be relatively short notice. I have a nice sized fenced in yard that your pups will love running around in! I will care for them like they are my own. I only accept boarding from one client at a time (can do multiple pups from the same home) but I do occassionally take a dog for a day care visit. (Please let me know if this is not advisable during your pup's stay.)
“Jennifer was flexible, reliable, and responsive. We so appreciated having her walk our dog, as well as the pictures and notes she included with each walk. We would certainly recommend Jennifer!”

“Tera is amazing! She went above and beyond! Met our pup beforehand, was very patient with him as he can be skittish, took him on long walks, and played with him at the park. Our pup looked so happy and seemed very excited when she would come by to walk him! Highly recommend!”

About: I understand how some animals need special care. I have a 14 year old cat that has an autoimmune disease. When he is fed, there is a detailed list of thing’s that must go into his food. I have also cared for a senior cat that needed to eat at very specific times because he was so thin. Every animal is different and as owners we know what they need to have their best life. I do my best to treat each pet just as their owners treat them. I work part time right now and the only days I am not completely available are Tuesdays and Thursday. I can care for your pet Monday and Wednesday anytime and Friday through Sundays anytime if your animals are alright with children because I have a 9 year old son. I won’t be able to bring your pet to my home because I have multiple cats that would be disturbed. I however can care for them at your house.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was a child, and I truly love dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I treat every pet as if they were my own, taking the time to get to know them, understand their needs, and build a trusting relationship. I have experience caring for puppies through senior dogs, including dogs with different routines, temperaments, and special needs. I’m also comfortable administering oral medications and using positive reinforcement to help pets feel safe, happy, and cared for. Because I work from home full-time and have a flexible schedule, I’m able to accommodate a variety of needs, including some last-minute requests. I also love walking and being outdoors, so I’m always happy to have a furry buddy join me. Over the years, I’ve been a trusted caretaker for many pets, giving owners peace of mind knowing their dogs are cared for, loved, and treated with patience and kindness while they’re away. I work from home with a very flexible schedule! Your dog can work with me at my home and will always have someone around to give them comfort. I have a fenced in yard and/or can crate your dog if needed. I have a yappy senior chihuahua, that is all bark, no bite.
About: Hi! My name is Jamie, and I am a crazy animal person! I have been working in the animal industry since 2012, but I have owned and cared for all sorts of animals my whole life. I am a veterinary technician, so I am comfortable caring for pets that need medications, even for the pets that can be a bit of a challenge. I am a very active person, so if your pet prefers a jog/run instead of a walk, I am happy to accommodate. I am very comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments and adjusting to their needs. I am also happy to stop in and take care of feline companions(including medicating). I can’t wait to make your furry friend my furry friend!
About: I have grown up around a lot of pets, and in the past few years I have lived with and helped take care of multiple dogs. I prioritize creating a calm and peaceful environment for pets in my car while their owners are away. I am flexible with my scheduling and am available most days throughout each week. This allows me to accommodate a variety of needs including walk-in visits and walks. For drop-ins and in-home visits, I prioritize keeping your pet's routine as consistent and stress free as possible. I follow all instructions regarding care, feeding, walks, and playtime carefully. I make sure to spend quality time with each pet so they feel comfortable, and I'll send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing they're in good hands. I'll also flag anything odd right away.
About: I've taken care of cats and dogs for nearly my entire life. My neighbors, friends and family often rely on me to care for their pets while they're away. I am definitely and animal person and seek them out wherever I go! I'm currently working part time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your critters! I'm available 12:30-2:30 on M/W/F, Tuesday mornings until 1p and after 2, and weekends are pretty flexible. I have a fenced in yard and am able to crate your dog if necessary. I also have space to isolate your critter from the household cats if necessary.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
