I’m an experienced animal care professional specializing in providing fun and enriching experiences for the animals in my care and minimizing any anxiety when their families are out of town. In my time working in animal rescue, I’ve worked with cats and dogs of all ages and all sizes. That includes gaining the trust of shy and nervous animals, bottle-feeding kittens, and administering medications. My experience gained through working in animal rescue gave me the expertise needed to provide excellent pet sitting care for animals with a wide range of needs and types/levels of care required. Recently, I’ve started caring for chickens, pigs, and horses as well. Schedule/Availability- I’m accepting new clients for all but the 10 am-2 pm range from Monday through Friday, for which I’m full with regular walks and drop-ins. For house sitting bookings, my rates are based on a 24-hour period of care. I provide discounts based on how many hours I’m actually needed in the home out of the 24 hours. If I’m needed for 18 hours and can therefore do other drop-in and walking bookings, I’ll offer a 35% discount, and I will still provide potty breaks every 3-4 hours. If I’m needed for 11-12 hours a day and can do other drop-ins and sleep in my home, I’ll offer a 60% discount and will provide potty breaks every 3-4 hours except for the 9 hours at my home for sleep. For drop-ins and dog walking, I offer a 30% discount for clients within a five minute walk of my home in Ypsilanti, 20% off within a 5 minute drive, and a 10% discount for a those within a ten minute drive.
