About: I fell in love with dogs at a very young age. Their loving and caring nature is something that drives a passion in me for them. I’ve been sitting dogs for over 5 years and have even provided long term care for the dogs of family and friends. I love their energetic spirits because it matches my own. I truly enjoy the task of caring for dogs and dogs truly love being cared for by me. I am a student, but my schedule is pretty open, leaving me plenty of time to tend to your loving pets. I also work out almost everyday so walks and runs will definitely be a frequent thing. This is something that I’ve grown passionate about and I would now love to expand my passion! I work from home and have mastered the art of multitasking, so I can type with one hand and give belly rubs with the other!😄 I do everything possible to make them feel safe, loved, and cared for, while of course following any care instructions given by owners. I also consider the personality and try to accommodate based on that as well.

About: I grew up with dogs of all sizes and breeds and have walked and sat for neighbors, friends, and family since I was a teenager. I have worked for a dog walking service during my time living in Boston so am familiar with these types of services. Additionally, I used to volunteer every Sunday at a shelter where we adopted one of my family dogs ( a sassy little dachshund). I love animals and am excited to meet yours! I have experience giving animals injections and oral meds as I have 5 of my own cats who have been on meds/ injections. I also work as a pediatric nurse so I’m well versed in the struggles of giving medications to uncooperative participants. I’m currently a night shift nurse at U if M. I work part time so often have long stretches off in between shifts where I can be available whenever. I’m also happy to stop by on my way home from a shift in the early morning hours :) I like to follow the owner’s preferences and keep the pet’s care regimen similar to their owner’s regimen to prevent stress on the animal. Each animal’s needs are different and I want to cater to that as much as possible!

“Heather is a great cat sitter. She has taken care of my cat multiple times and I always know she will be in the best hands with Heather. Peanut is a older kitty so she has some special needs and Heather is an expert with caring for and showing older animals love. She has been rescuing older dogs and cats for 20 years so she is wonderful at accommodating any special instructions! She is a great pet sitter and I always know that I can depend on my Peanut to get the best care and cuddles when Heather is there!”
