“Ally has been an absolute blessing. My original sitter had a scheduling conflict for about a week and I was fortunate Ally was available to fill in. I'd actually considered her to be the original sitter but the only reason I didn't was because I managed to find a sitter who was in the same apartment complex as me, which gave me peace of mind in case my pet had any emergencies. The initial meet and greet went very smoothly. She brought a notebook and I felt like a professor as she took notes while I explained the care duties. She was diligent with her questions and, during the visits, I never found myself having to repeat any of the instructions I'd given. My cat (who took almost a year to warm up to me) warmed up to her within minutes, which totally didn't make me jealous. It's always a plus when your pet gives you the greenlight. I chose the 60-min visit option and I know it can get repetitive and boring doing the same things every visit but she showed absolutely no signs of an "I'm just here for a paycheck" attitude. Her Rover cards always contained detailed descriptions of my cat's eating and bathroom habits, as well as his general demeanor and what they both did during the visits. And the pictures wouldn't just be the same pose shot from different angles either. All in all, she took care of my boy as if he were her own, which is honestly all I'd hoped for. As she's only a block away from me, she's definitely my first choice if I ever need a sitter again.”

About: I have a Master’s degree in Biology and currently work in a management role, bringing reliability, organization, and strong communication skills to everything I do—including pet care. I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and have experience caring for dogs, cats, and even bunnies. Over the years, I’ve provided pet sitting for a wide variety of animals throughout college and beyond. In addition to personal experience, I’ve volunteered my time walking dogs at a local animal shelter and have supported animal welfare through holiday donation drives. Caring for animals isn’t just something I enjoy—it’s something I genuinely value. I’m also an active runner currently training for a half marathon, so I’d be more than happy to take high-energy dogs out for runs or extra-long walks to help them burn off energy and stay happy and healthy. I’m using Rover as a way to give back while doing something I love. I’m fundraising for two meaningful causes as part of my upcoming runDisney half marathon at Disney World: Hope Story, which supports individuals with Down syndrome, and Experience Camps, which provides free camps for children who have lost a parent or sibling. I’m just $1195 away from my goal, and every booking helps me get closer while continuing to provide loving, dependable care for pets. I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule. My son will be attending school this summer and I’m looking for additional ways to earn some extra money. I have a rescue pit-mix named Jetta who enjoys our acre and a half backyard. I am reliable and will show respect in client homes, if drop in visits are preferred.

About: I use to work on Rover before the pandemic. I loved it, I love animals dogs especially.I have had pets my whole life. I have never met a dog that hasn’t liked me, i also am a reiki practitioner and am always willing to do some on a pet with obviously your consent. I love walking so why not walk some dogs in the process. I’m into fitness and getting into shape and what is the best way to do that then with a pet♥️ I love others pets like my own. I will hug them scratch them kiss them and cuddle them. My animals are spoiled and I plan on spoiling yours♥️

About: I’ve had pets since I can remember. I am very comfortable with all animals. I have had dogs and cats with various medical needs so I am comfortable with all types of animal care. I also love walking and am more than willing to go as far as your pet wants! I am currently a stay at home mom, so my schedule is pretty open for when you would need me. I am available during the week and most weekends. Monday-Friday: available at any time Tuesday-Thursday: any time before 8am, or after 5pm I am comfortable with feeding, scooping litter, playing, taking outside, giving medication and I am able to handle any aspect of care your pet may need.

Your pet will never be left alone for extended periods and is typically left alone for no more than 1–2 hours at a time. I understand the importance of maintaining a consistent routine and will ensure your pet receives the attention, care, and affection they deserve while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are my top priorities. I carefully follow all care instructions, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise needs, and any special requirements. I provide a calm, clean, and loving environment where pets can feel safe and relaxed. Communication is also important to me. Every pet parent has different preferences, so I always ask whether they would like frequent updates throughout the day or just a daily check-in. Some owners enjoy receiving lots of photos and updates, while others prefer fewer messages while they’re busy at work or enjoying their vacation. I am happy to accommodate either preference and will always keep you informed in the way that works best for you. I believe in treating every pet as if they were my own and strive to ensure both pets and their owners feel comfortable, confident, and cared for throughout the entire experience.
