About: I have been caring for animals since elementary school. I watched cats and dogs for neighbors and friends of the family. As I got older, I started getting referrals for pets from around the community and cared for those animals too. I provide a calm, clean, and loving environment where pets can feel safe and relaxed. Communication is also important to me. Every pet parent has different preferences, so I always ask whether they would like frequent updates throughout the day or just a daily check-in. Some owners enjoy receiving lots of photos and updates, while others prefer fewer messages while they’re busy at work or enjoying their vacation. I am happy to accommodate either preference and will always keep you informed in the way that works best for you. I believe in treating every pet as if they were my own and strive to ensure both pets and their owners feel comfortable, confident, and cared for throughout the entire experience.
About: I have been pet sitting every month for the past 6 years and it has been such an enjoyable and memorable experience and I appreciate everyone who has given me the opportunity to do so! I will make sure to communicate as frequently as you want, sharing pics and videos of your fur babies being adorable goofballs. I work from home four days a week, making it easy for me to spend quality time with your pets. I go on daily walks or runs and will happily bring them along. Since I work from home, your pets are never alone for too long! I will respect your home, take care of dishes, mail and trash, & ensure the place is cleaner than when I arrived.

“Rachel was wonderful. She was attentive and caring to my much older dog that recently experienced some trauma in other boarding settings. Rachael helped her to adjust to the transition of staying in a new place and she sent regular photos and reports of her progress. When I picked up my dog, Rachel and her partner provided what felt like honest feedback back regarding some limitations my dog experienced with other animals at their house as well as shared behaviors they observed that I didn’t know my dog did until the two day visit with them. First instance - learned my dog definitely would hunt a cat if given the chance - this is useful intel future bookings. I definitely recommend Rachel to anyone.”

She continued the rest of his treatment which consisted of multiple medications at carousing times throughout the day.
