She approaches each animal gently and allows them to approach her on their terms. One of our cats, who doesn't go to anyone, loved Kelly on the very first visit! Our ultra sensitive Golden wouldn't walk far from home so she let him roll around in the back yard and gave him lots of loving attention, she knew that was exactly what he needed - LOTS of reassuring pets out in the fresh air. I currently care for two cats and also have a Golden Retriever who lives with my former roommate but still comes to visit on weekends, allowing me to stay actively involved in his care and routine.
